I…read moretook in the tattered cushions from a pair of barstools to Pabros, and asked them to cover them in leather, which were originally covered in Naugahyde type substance which did not hold up. As you can see in the photos, the barstools are now Beautiful, Better than new. They did it for a good price, and got it done faster than the original estimated time. These could have ended up in a landfill, but instead will give us many years of use.

She called us because when she was removing the fabric, the stuffing all disintegrated into dust. After all, the chairs were over 30 years old. We didn't mind the nominal charge to replace the stuffing. We picked it up and was very happy. So we brought our other chairs in groups because we couldn't fit all of them in the car. We got our last group of chairs and we love them. It took about 5-6 weeks. We weren't in a hurry. Gabby did a fantastic job. She is pleasant and professional. I'm glad we found her.

Jose designed a new backrest for the piece, cut at a slight wedge shape for lumbar support, and the result is just so much better than the original setup. The process was not fast, as he had us come back twice to make sure the foam he'd ordered felt like we wanted it to (we returned once to test the base cushion, then once more for the backrest), but I'd much rather have the project done well than quickly. I'm really glad to support a family business of craftsmen who know their trade and stand by their work.

We brought them my wife's grandmother's 19th century rocker to restore and reupholster. It's gorgeous. They reinforced the fragile wood along with everything else and it now sits in our living room. We brought them a set of early american oak chairs of 20th century manufacture that showed the results of years of use and asked them to match the stain so the chairs would still go with the dining room table.
