I drove 3 hrs (one-way) to meet this talented photographer from San Diego. It was all worth it. Where to start. I have so many good things to say about this guy. He was on time, warm, polite, listened to what I needed, answered my questions, quick email response, and last but not least, he takes awesome pictures. What impressed me the most was: on the day of my wedding, Adam arrived at a location 2-3 hours advance to see if there were any cool places to take pictures with. He is in L.A. and we are in San Diego, so he came here early to "study and research" the location. There was a train station near a hotel we stayed, which I didn't even know that existed, and he took us there for photo-shoot. The pics Adam took were just magical, and I was so grateful that he spent extra time to find this cool spot. He also found a blue mural on the wall of the hotel. I thought "wait a minute. This mural is too blue!!" But Adam knows how to make "ordinary" to "extra ordinary." My portrait pics with blue mural which I posted here are actually my fav pic. But I am telling you. In fact, he was the first vendor we reached out right after we got engaged until we realized soon enough we should probably book the venue and date first ... We booked him for our engagement and wedding shoot and had a great experience! First of all, it's unhuman how he responds to emails within 5 minutes regardless of whether you email him at 2pm or 2am. It's true what everyone else says about him making you feel really comfortable at shoots. John's extremely professional which makes it extra funny when he'll drop in something super random like "give me a sexy pose" during a shoot. On our wedding day, he showed up early and led us and our bridal party through all photos - we didn't have to think about anything, just went with his flow. There was one hitch with the location I chose for our bridal party photos but John managed to find another great spot quickly on campus before we even had a chance to leave the first one. I also want to mention John had his first baby the week prior to our wedding. I figured he must at least be exhausted but he was on top of it throughout our whole wedding day (and not to mention even before, he was responding to our emails as he was getting ready to go to the hospital for the delivery of his first born??) Anyway, my point is John is committed and you can count on him! My husband and I are so happy with the way everything turned out (John delivered the photos early too!) and couldn't have asked for a better photographer.

When we were researching photographers a year ago there were so many to choose from and my planner helped us by asking us what style we liked and from that she gave us a list of 5 photographers. After looking at all of their portfolios we fell in love with the way Greg's photos looked. Ironically we found out that he photographed my planners wedding so we knew he would be amazing! We met up with Greg to sign the contract and look through his albums and we felt so comfortable talking with him. He's so sweet and kind...we knew we picked the right photographer. A few months ago we did our engagement shoot and at first we thought 4 hours! Geez this is going to be a longggg day. But honestly it went by so fast!!! He made it so comfortable for us and would talk to us and it really helped us forget that this is a photo shoot and we felt relaxed. The photos came out amazing!!! Chris has to be one of the most unprofessional persons I have ever experienced. He ruined my…read moresisters wedding photos and literally single handed held up the entire day from all of the completely unnecessary photos he felt compelled to shoot. Had he not held up the wedding party, the ceremony would have started on time. ( now I know why he told us he doesn't get along with wedding planners...) It's because he doesn't have a clue as to what matters and what needs to be done as far as photos... Had the ceremony started on time, we would have had more time to do all of the things we wanted to do that evening. That being said, we didn't realize why we had so little time until the end of the night and the days following when we got to chat about the events... My sister was so excited to get her pictures... that is until she got the actual email... can you say horrible? Talk about quite literally ruining your wedding... After all of the photos he took, we all for sure thought he would have got things that were important... family, husband with mom, wife with her dad, etc. Nope. not one picture of anything that actually mattered to all of us was taken... but instead, photos of what looks like the camera at an angle ( which by the way, over 90% of the photos were taken at an angle) of very random things. Some of the photos were not edited at all ( or they were and it only goes to show how little Chris knows about photography). My sisters husband asked for Chris to organize the photos; so they could pick out the ones they would have cropped and major edit work done to... that's when Chris showed us all just how unprofessional he really is... Now, you would think that your upset customers who are not happy with your finished product should be spoke to kindly and probably with a little tact...Not, Chris is not only unapologetic for how badly the photos have come out, but is now making threats to not give any of the proofs to the family at all. I highly suggest using another photographer if you want your memories to be professionally captured. Update Not only did my sister win her court case, Chris and his rude wife hired a lawyer and appealed the case...only for another judge to side with my sister and her husband!!
