My wife and I had an incredibly positive experience buying a home with Chris. Throughout the entire process, Chris always made himself available to us and was very timely responding to our texts and emails. It always felt like Chris had our best interests in mind, and his guidance helped us stay focused on the bigger picture and what was best for our family. We came across some challenges and difficult decisions along the journey, but Chris's expertise put us in a position to get exactly what we wanted at the end of the day. We would not have ended up with our house without him. Chris and his team also did a great job navigating an escrow and closing with a challenging listing party, keeping things moving with a positive attitude and compensating for their lack of effort by going the extra mile. He is extremely professional, and we never had any doubts about everything being handled properly on our side. We honestly will miss working with Chris despite the stress of buying a house. We would definitely recommend him as both a buyer's and seller's agent to our friends and family! read more

We've worked with Chris on multiple home purchases/sales, and he's the first person we think of whenever real estate comes up. Chris makes you feel like you have someone genuinely in your corner and he knows the Irvine/Orange County markets extremely well. We've been through enough real estate transactions to know that things don't always go exactly according to plan. Having someone who stays calm, communicates clearly, and knows when to adjust course makes a huge difference and Chris has consistently been that person for us. We wouldn't hesitate to work with him again, and we're always happy to recommend him to friends and family looking for someone they can truly trust. read more

Chris has helped us buy and sell three homes, and there's no one else we would trust with our real estate needs in Orange County. He knows the Irvine market incredibly well and brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to every transaction. He keeps us updated throughout the process and, most importantly, has honest conversations with us about what's happening, when we need to pivot, and how to adjust our strategy. Real estate can be stressful, and Chris has a way of keeping us grounded and focused on what matters. We always feel informed and confident in the decisions we're making. After three homes together, our trust in him has only grown. We couldn't be happier with our experiences and will continue to recommend Chris without hesitation. read more

chris came highly recommended by yuriko and andy tse of the tse group who sold our house in san jose. andy tse is one of the top agents in the country so chris' recommendation by andy was a strong one. we now needed to buy a home in irvine. chris represented us as buyers. chris didn't disappoint. he always made sure he looked out for OUR interests. on our first submitted offer as a buyer we wanted to go in stronger but chris thought it might be showing too many cards. every other agent would have gone for the easy sale, you know? higher offer means more commission, right? we ended up not winning but chris had another property which we ended up buying. now in this transaction chris also represented the seller but he never commingled the two interests and we are now the happy owner of a new place. chris has great communication and is very straightforward which to me is a huge plus. i would absolutely recommend chris and the kwon group. without any conditions or hesitation. read more

He has great attention to detail and works hard representing your interests. We were very happy to have him as our agent buying the largest purchase of our life. He doesn't do wishy washy answers and tells you clearly what the options or likely outcomes are. He also did the leg work, showing up on site regularly himself to make sure everything was right. Also very responsive via text. Fully recommend. read more

We hired Chris and his team to sell our home during a less-than-ideal market, and we couldn't be more grateful that we did. From day one, Chris provided clear, thoughtful guidance on how to prepare our home for the market. Despite some challenging moments, he remained a steady, knowledgeable presence throughout the entire process. What truly stood out was his strategic approach. When interest slowed, he advised a slight price adjustment at just the right time--and it worked. We ended up receiving multiple offers and ultimately sold our home above our original target price! The escrow process was seamless, communication was always prompt and professional, and we genuinely felt supported every step of the way. If you are thinking of selling, stop searching--Chris and his team are the ones you want in your corner. He was worth every penny and then some. read more

Chris is very efficient and easy to work with. Very sensitive to market condition and responsive to text.

Chris and his team sold our home for around 5% more than a similar home in our neighborhood that sold at the same time. When you're dealing with homes near $2mil, that's a lot of money. He was very knowledgeable about the real estate in our neighborhood, as he himself lives in Portola Springs. He's very responsive and always respectful of our time, which was the reason we selected him over other realtors we interviewed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris and his team to anyone selling their home. read more

I would like to put my sincere gratitude for all the help and advise that I got from Mr Chris Kwon and his team, while selling my home at Irvine , May 2025. I loved the structured and planned way by which Chris and his team performs. Always within reach for any communication, answering my tonnes of questions , claifying douts , clearing challenges - for all these , I found Chris and his team to be trustable partners in selling my home. Chris and his team have a very deep knowledge of the Real Estate market for Irvine and its adjoining areas , and that knowledge helped me much - from , pricing strategy to staging strategy to showing strategy and ultimately negotiation strategy. Their expertise helped me sell my home in the "buyers" market that I found myself in. So I can say Chris and his team navigated the most challenging market conditions prevailing at the time to have my home sold. I cannot recommend enough Chris and his team to anyone needing to buy or sell home. Wish Chris and his team all the best and all the success ! read more

We recently worked with Chris and his team to rent out our home in Irvine, CA. We had spoken to Chris before when we had initially bought our home and wanted to go with a realtor that understood the Irvine market. Chris is laid back, but don't mistaken that for not being effective. Chris was very communicative and provided necessary guidance by setting reasonable expectations. Although he is busy, he was always able to take calls and take questions. He worked quickly in prepping our home for showings and was able to field applicants quickly and timely. We were able to get tenants screened and signed within 3 weeks of posting the unit for rent. It was a pleasure working with Chris and the Kwon Home Group! read more

Selling a home is a huge step in one's life. After 39 years, we decided to take that step with the guidance of the Kwon Group. Chris and his team were unlike ANY company we have ever worked with. They were professional and certainly knew their business. Our home was listed and sold in weeks, not months. Look no further when you need to sell or purchase your next property. Me again! I recently had the pleasure of working with Chris and Lexi on the sale of my existing home and the purchase of a new one. This was my second time working with Chris, who helped me sell and buy a home back in 2016. Being a returning customer speaks volumes and I could end my review here, but that would be unfair to Chris and his team who provided an exemplary level of service and dedication. Chris has always demonstrated a deep understanding of the real estate market. His industry knowledge and keen awareness of current trends and property values is exactly why I reached out to Chris with the idea to use the equity that had built up in my current home to "trade up" into something closer to the beach. I wanted his opinion, not only because of his knowledge and expertise, but because I trust Chris and his guidance unequivocally. In the sale of my home, Chris and Lexi showcased their expertise in marketing and negotiation. I particularly appreciated that feedback about my home and interest level of potential buyers was provided after every open house and private showing. When it came down to negotiation, Chris' guidance ensured that my transaction was fair and that I was not taken advantage of by pushy seller requests. On the buying side, Chris exhibited a keen eye for detail, helping me identify properties that met my very specific criteria. Chris went the extra mile in coordinating inspections, facilitating paperwork, and even offering valuable advice on property maintenance and renovations. It is evident that Chris cares deeply about his clients' satisfaction and works tirelessly to ensure they have a positive experience. Chris and Lexi both possess exceptional communication skills. They were always accessible, promptly responding to calls and emails, and keeping me well-informed at every stage of the buying and selling process. This constant communication not only provided me with peace of mind but also demonstrated their dedication to transparency and client satisfaction. What truly stood out, however, was Chris and Lexi's unwavering commitment to going above and beyond in meeting my specific needs. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for me, my mom, and my dogs to ensure that the entire process was as easy and stress-free as possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Chris Kwon and his team to anyone seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and personable real estate agent. Working with Chris is never just a transaction; it is an experience marked by professionalism, integrity, and a true commitment to exceeding client expectations. Chris is an absolute gem in the real estate industry. read more

Chris was so great to work with! Him and his wife Ann went above and beyond me and my husband's expectations with purchasing our first home! I worked with Chris about 3 years ago from a family friend referral when trying to buy my own home. I put a couple offers in but got beat by several other offers. This time around I was nervous to get back in the housing market again, but felt hopeful with my now husband and with Chris' guidance. After reaching out to Chris, he gave us recommendations on loan officers he usually works with and advised we get preapproved before touring homes. After reaching out to two of them and a big bank for comparison, we got preapproved with the best rate through one of Chris' recommendations. Chris was prompt on asking our wish list, must-haves, and dealbreakers. My husband and I knew we wanted to be in OC, preferably near the coast. Chris gave us a few listings and we also shared with him homes from our own search. During home tours, Chris and Ann gave us insightful advice on neighborhoods and home conditions. While touring a few homes, my husband and I fell in love with a home that Chris and Ann were able to schedule a viewing the day-of, and ended up putting an offer on that property. Chris was so great communicating with us, the seller's agent, and our loan officer. He got all the documents that needed to be reviewed and signed via Docusign, which made it super easy with our busy schedules. Chris' quick updates and emails helped us get our first offer accepted and with seller's credit towards rate buy down! Chris was quick to help us schedule general, plumbing, and termite inspections, walkthroughs, and sent updated reports to the seller's agent. After all that we closed in a little over 2 weeks and even got credit for the repairs needed after inspection! There aren't enough words to express how thankful my husband and I are to Chris and Ann. They both put in 110% to get us into our first home as a married couple and we're beyond grateful! Would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking to purchase a home! I'd give 10 stars if I could :D read more

We initially had planned to talk to 3 agents before deciding who would be selling our home. Chris was the first agent we spoke with and decided we did not need to look any further. We were not local and needed to work with someone we can trust. Chris checked all of the boxes of our must haves in an agent. He listened and guided us from beginning to end with his expertise & knowledge of the market. He also added some creativity with the video he made of our property which we loved! We highly recommend Chris and the Kwon Home Group 100%! read more

We met Chris's team at an open house, and loved how professional they were. We looked them up ourselves on the internet and saw the glowing reviews and decided to use their service to sell our home. It was the best decision!! Everything was super organized and extremely professional, and most importantly, we were able to get well above asking price in a very short amount of time. We felt like we were selling a mansion in the way the team treated our listing. We also ended up buying a house with them, and it was the same, smooth experience. They were attentive to the smallest detail and until the very end of the transaction. Thank you Chris and your team!!! read more

There is not a 6th-star function on Yelp but if we could, we would give Chris 6 stars. I've been following his work for a few years now and thought that if we were to ever sell our home, that we would consider him as an agent. The opportunity arose in early October when we put our home on the market. We were trying to choose between using Chris and another reputable and knowledgeable agent that we used in the past who had done very well for us. In the end, we chose Chris because he demonstrated his specific knowledge of our neighborhood (Portola Springs) during a Zoom interview in addition to sharing with us his record of prior sales the previous year. As an added bonus, he closed us by asking for our business- which I appreciated being in the sales industry myself. Chris ended up getting us the full asking price for our home!!! This is noteworthy because the sale of our particular home was among the 3 or 4 highest since the neighborhood was created. He was able to do so because of his impeccable attention-to-detail, patience, experience and professionalism. He clearly knows how to market a product that has competition- we had other similar houses for sale at the same time. To my knowledge, the one we were directly competing with is still languishing on the market while ours had numerous offers. Some of it was because of the existing features in our home versus the competitor home and I'd say a good amount of it was Chris's ability to generate interest from the right buyers. He is the best agent for the Portola Springs neighborhood, and among the elite agents in Irvine. We would highly recommend him to anyone in the surrounding area!!! read more

Short version: Chris is an amazing agent! Hire him immediately! You're welcome. Long version: My husband is an agent in a different state, so we are picky with the agents we use. We only work with professional, technologically savvy, proactive, friendly agents, and Chris is definitely one of the best we've worked with! I had been a fan of his amazing videos for quite some time and jumped at the chance to work with him on selling our Woodbury property. We are out of state so it really helped to have an agent that was proactive and thorough to be our eyes and ears. Chris took over everything and worked very quickly. He made an Oscar worthy video along with dynamic photos that showcased our house extremely well. We had offers in no time and sold our property in record time at a price higher than we were hoping! He took care of all the details and made it easy to be so far away. The communication and negotiating on our behalf, was top notch. Simply put, he's awesome and anyone would be lucky to work with him! read more

After fifty years in our home, we made the decision to relocate closer to our family out of state. To say it was a difficult and emotional time is an understatement. Chris was kind, understanding, and supportive as he walked us through every step of the process. Once the house was listed, it was a whirlwind of activity. Chris and his associate, Lexi, were always available and responsive to answer any questions we had. The house sold in just four days for over the asking price. Chris then continued to gently guide us through the closing process, which at times seemed daunting. We will be singing the praises of Chris, Lexi, and Kwon Home Group for a very long time. read more

Chris did an absolutely wonderful job in helping us find our "dream" home in Tustin. When we started our search, there was virtually no inventory and we lost out in a couple of bidding wars. Chris and his team did a great job helping us find a senior-community apartment. It took a while and quite a few tries, but Chris was very patient and calm the whole time. He never pressures us to put in an offer we were not comfortable with. This is the second home he purchased for us and I can't say enough about his trustworthiness. You can always count on him putting his clients needs above everything else. He's also very detail oriented in the whole process. Both properties closed without any hiccups. read more

This review is on the behalf of my non English speaking parents who sold their home in Glendale. Chris Kwon is a realtor that my husband, who is a loan officer, found in Orange County for them because of the fact that he is 1) Korean 2) Amazing with his marketing and social media skills 3) Organized 4) Reputable and the list goes on. He did an amazing job of selling their home above asking even before it went into open house! My parents were very impressed with his efficiency, patience, experience and his ability to market their house so quickly and efficiently. They/we loved his videos and tech skills that most agents don't have. He did an amazing job despite that fact that it was somewhat of a distance from Orange County. We highly recommend Chris and Ann, they make a great team! read more

Attentive, focused, and quick sale! Perfect process from stat to finish! Great experience!

My wife and I were very fortunate and blessed to have Chris as our agent. Being that this was our first foray into real estate (we had always rented before), we weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into. We had an idea and a vision of a home of where our family would be able to grow into but had no idea how to set everything in motion. Enter: Chris. He was referred to us by a mutual friend and was engaged from the very beginning. He listened to our wants and needs (e.g., location, schooling, price, amenities, etc.) and only showed us listings that matched our criteria. We immediately felt we were in good hands. He's everything you want in an agent: knowledgeable, amicable, straight-forward, and above all else, patient. We started this entire process in March. Chris met up with us nearly every week to take us to view houses up and down the OC. We went to Brea, Fullerton, Irvine, Foothill Ranch, Lake Forest, and Tustin. Each house selected based on our preferences. We were, however, on the picky side. Nothing really wow'd us. And Chris understood. He told us that it is has to be the right home and that this kind of stuff takes time. So he persisted with us for nearly five long months. We found our dream home in July and closed on our home in mid-August. Chris was there every step of the way providing helpful insight and guidance throughout the home-purchasing process. He was there to advise us through negotiations, contract signing, and closing. He was available around the clock to answer our questions on disclosures and other important paperwork. He walked us through timelines and key deliverables so we never missed a deadline. Even now, two months removed from the closing date, I still pester him with questions and emails about home ownership and he responds with clear answers and helpful advice. Chris will take care of his clients before, during, and after the entire process. Something I truly appreciate. TL:DR: Chris makes the home-purchasing process as easy and seamless as possible. I would say we had a fairly smooth escrow process in large part because Chris was very proactive in his approach. He's smart and knows all the ins and outs of real estate. If you want an agent that'll work for you and make sure you're happy with your home, go with Chris. You won't regret it. read more

Thank you so much, Chris!! My husband and I had been looking for a home for over a year. I was pretty much fed up and was going to give into any home I saw. Then, I got into touch with Chris who said would be happy to help me out. Right off the bat from our first meeting I loved how he seemed genuine and showed he really wanted to help. I wanted someone who could relate to me and understand what I wanted and didn't want out of my house, and I was so happy when Chris just understood without me having to explain. He was helpful in my entire search, and my husband and I are finally happy owners of a new home. We also ended up choosing one of the first homes Chris showed me. Can you believe it?! After a whole year of searching and Chris showed me a couple of homes the first day and I ended up loving it! I wish I knew him earlier, would have saved me so much headache. Anyways, I seriously couldn't be happier right now and I owe it all to him. He was attentive, helpful, always in contact, stepping me through each step, and more importantly he was more of a friend. read more

We have owned multiple investment and personal-use properties over the last 15 years and this review is based on our experiences overall. In our opinion, Chris is a good realtor for properties at a certain price range ($500K - $1 MM) but questionable outside that range. We were underwhelmed by our experience with him on a ~$1.5MM property. While he seemed very laid-back, we were hoping he would exhibit more drive somewhere in the process. In the end, while he was responsive and always available, we really did not feel he was doing anything extra special to move our property and drive multiple offers like we had stated in our interview with him. Throughout the process, we had issues with a lack of communication and we had to meet with him multiple times to provide the feedback and reset expectations. We went against his recommendation to under-price our house to drive multiple offers, and came up with our own price - we are happy we did, because he was not successful in getting more than one offer for us. In a strong market, we were lucky our house sold, but I would have definitely evaluated the myriad of better options out there. This review is based purely on our experience with selling our house with Chris and should not be construed as an opinion on his performance overall. read more
