But hey, my nails look bomb and the people were nice, which is more than I can say compared to a few higher-priced salons I've been to! My experience with Top Line Beauty College was extremely disappointing, largely because of one staff member, Kim. She often acts as though she runs the entire school and creates an uncomfortable environment for students. Over the years, I have heard similar concerns from numerous coworkers, classmates, and colleagues who felt they were treated unfairly or disrespectfully. Students come to beauty school to learn, grow, and build confidence in a supportive environment. Instead, many feel intimidated and afraid to speak up. A learning environment should encourage students, not make them feel fearful or anxious. Based on my experience and the experiences shared by others, I would not recommend this school. The negative atmosphere created by certain staff members overshadows what should be a positive educational experience.

One negative I experienced was the lack of professionalism from another barber. I never got his name but his chair/desk was right next to us. Alex and some students politely asked him to move to another chair as a customer was going to arrive soon. He says no and they informed him that the professor would get along. Later during my cut he gets hostile and a bit aggressive towards the student attending me and I quote "Alex, you're a snitch? Nah I didn't know you were a snitch." I was appalled by his unprofessionalism. Luckily it was handled as Alex reminded him I was a customer and such behavior should be held privately. I don't know if I would recommend this shop if there's going to be students trying to be aggressive during a clients' service.

The flexibility it offers, the patience and understanding it offers for those who have families; the teachers will answer any questions you may have, they go above and beyond teach you anything you want to know, and go above and beyond to make sure we understand everything thoroughly. So you can imagine the shock of walking into this place. The price online was different than what they told me. Twice as much. It was a very hot day and I asked, "do you have AC". They turned on a fan on and turned it toward me. They didn't have a big pedicure chair to sit in where you put your feet down into a bath of water. They had a movable thing that they sit on and then I put my feet on it. I also put my feet in a bucket of water below me. The first girl that worked on me couldn't even cut my toenails with the clippers. My nails are not difficult to cut. An older gentleman had to take over and he pinched me with the clippers. Luckily. no skin was broke. The instructor was standing there when I said, "Ouch" and she didn't even blink or even apologize.This gentleman didn't even know how to put the nail polish on so when I got home, I had to cover my nails with more polish. Not sure if it's worth going back to this place. I would pay double the price at my nail person and get better service and not have to drive so far. I was the only person getting my nails done and there was a gentleman getting a five dollar haircut. No other customers. That should've told me something. There were quite a few supervisors just sitting around and eating. One last thing, I don't know how this the school gets accredited. I think if the health department walked in, they would be closed.

I went in on 06/22/2019 and personally asked for information on the Cosmetology course, the girl at the front desk gave me a questioner to fill out, which I did. She sat me down and told me I'd be called, a few minutes passed and she stated that there was no one available to give me a tour and that they would call me back to schedule the tour and get started with the enrollment process.... As of today(07/12/2019) I have NOT heard back. So to conclude my review, based on my experience, they are extremely unprofessional and lack communication skills.
