For a year, we treated a guy in his 30s who'd lost more than a few teeth. And during that time, I realized something: Scott is that guy. The one who's calm under pressure, insanely smart, and actually listens--to both patients and colleagues. He's the kind of dentist who somehow explains complex stuff without sounding like a robot or a YouTube tutorial. Oh--and he used to teach at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. I'm not saying the course instructor was bad, but let's just say Scott was the one dropping the real gems. Look, Scott's not the bargain-bin option.
