Placed order with Chow Cab for Willies Pizza delivery in Juno Beach. An hour later, called Willies and they said the order was not placed by Chow Cab yet. Chow Cab finally called me but never sent a confirmation or offered an apology for being late. They said they could not find a driver. Not a good business to be in WITHOUT A $&@*%# DRIVER!!! The first time I ordered from Chow Cab, they were awesome! But I guess that was just a fluke. The more times we order the longer it seems to take. This is the last straw and since most of the places on their list have "To go" ordering, I think we'll stick with that. The time before this order it took nearly 3 hours to get our food. When it finally arrived, it was cold and unappetizing. Think soggy cold french fries...eww. I just placed an order tonight at 6:30 pm and was told the "estimated" delivery time would be between 7:15-7:45 pm. It is now after 8:10 pm and still no food! DO NOT USE CHOW CAB!! Oh hey Chow Cab PSL! Ya know what's really awesome? The fact that I've been using your service at least a couple times a week for over a year! Ya know what's NOT really awesome? When I order a tuna fish sub and a salad from Subway on your app and my tuna fish arrived with mustard on it (holy gross) and my salad arrived with.... wait for it.... NO FRIGGIN SALAD. Yes, you read that right. It arrived with salad toppings and no lettuce. I would never choose mustard as a topping on tuna fish (dry heaving). I called to complain and you proceeded to BLAME ME. You insisted that I chose mustard to be on my tuna fish. Right, because I decided that while taking care of a 5 month old miserable teething baby when I haven't showered in 3 days or put any food in my stomach since yesterday at 2:30pm, I'd really like to spend the only quiet time I have during my baby's 30 minute nap to call and complain about something like this. The food takes a really long time to come. I've had to update my information several times before it actually saved. The drivers have an IQ of 15. They have the code to get into the gate at my home and constantly tell me it doesn't work. What I find funny is, this is the same exact code I use to get in. Like the other reviews here, we have found chow cab to be consistently late, rude and generally incompetent. The app gives you no way to contact them, so when your food is late (and it will be) you have to call the restaurant directly. On both occasions we have ordered from them, we had to do this and both times, the restaurants complained about chow cab and how they don't call in orders ahead of time. they just send a driver who places the order when he gets there, then disappears to make other deliveries, only to return 45 minutes later to deliver our now cold food. save yourself the aggravation and just go out to eat! read more

We placed an order, they called back 1/2 hour later to say the restaurant wasn't taking anymore orders as they were to busy and we would get refund in 2-3 days. This is an $80 order. Ordered Bagel Break this morning around 9:45am. It's almost Noon and they delivery has not arrived. First we call Bagel Break and ask what happened to the order. They said Chow Cab is here now, let's see if it's your order. It wasn't, since we ordered through Chow Cab we have to call them to see what happened. We call Chow Cab to see where the food is - mind you our office is on the same street as the Bagel Break in Stuart. They claimed they do not partner with the Bagel Break in Stuart (even though it's on their website and Chow Cab was there in the Stuart store when we called). They claimed the driver had to go to VERO for our food (Even though Chow Cab was in the store when we called and I looked up to see how far Vero Bagel Break was and they DO NOT even partner with a Bagel Break in Vero - so that was a lie too) The person over the phone did not care that we paid for food that will be delivered ice cold. When the driver finally shows up at 12:15, he did not care that Chow Cab screwed up our order and brought us ice cold food. read more

Online chat representative said they train their drivers to check the order with the restaurant before they leave, but the do not train them to open the food packages. I certainly hope they never open my food packages. I asked for a credit of the missing item and my delivery fee. I was told they could not refund the delivery fee because the food was delivered. I disagree as all the food was not delivered. I was then told that the restaurant didn't ring up the missing item. Well, I didn't order directly from the restaurant, I ordered from Bite Squad. Terrible management - awful service. All is well until half your food doesn't arrive and they charge you anyway. Then they offer to credit the missing dishes (wow! So generous!) and don't give a crap that half your family doesn't get food. Management avoids calls and does not respond to emails or phone calls. We've used this service a couple of times and been pleased. However the third time was certainly now a charm. The order was incorrect and after an hour wait the driver called for directions. I guess with so many restaurants on board now, they really do need more drivers to keep on with the demand. Do not recommend!!! Tried chow cab psl on a co-workers suggestion. Ordered hurricane grill for our lunch break. The driver went to the wrong store twice, complained about gas and the food was ice cold. Called to speak with management and after several attempts was told I was speaking to the general manager and was promised a refund in 5-10 days.When it still hadn't shown up on my card after 15 I sent an email only to be told by the general manager that he never spoke to me. So I sent him a few emails explaining what happened and he never responded. Horrible delivery service and horrible customer service. If I could put 0 stars I would. read more

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! First off, I can't even count how many times I've ordered from this company. Before my recent experiences, I would have given them four stars. When the food is early/on time, the main course is usually hot but the fries are usually a little "meh" on the soggy side. However, it is a food delivery service so I can understand some things are out of their control. The last time I ordered from them, I was missing my side item and the sauce for the meal. I didn't call to complain because the other times were decent and hey, we all have our bad days. Fast forward to tonight. Our meal was forty minutes late. I called the restaurant we ordered from (Riverside Cafe) and the young lady told me our food left well OVER a half hour ago. When I called the chow cab number and pressed the option to speak to someone, she kept making excuses how the person was right around the corner and my food would still be hot. I explained to her that even when they are early/on time the side usually gets soggy (if it is a hot side) and I don't possibly see how being LATE FORTY minutes would give me the same product. Once the food arrived, I wasn't surprised to see we had mushy/soggy fries and disgusting soggy bread. We tried to salvage it in the oven...but really the only thing edible was the chicken and that was out of shear starvation. I have called the manager and left a message. If he returns my call, I will update this review. As of now, I would never order from them again. Even when you have a bad experience, good customer service can make a bad situation better. 9/16/16- Manager called back and left a voicemail a few days after ordinal review (9/9/16). In theory Chow Cab is great. In actuality it is not. I placed my order from the menu provided by Chow Cab. The restaurant said one of my orders was seasonal and could not be made. I found this out after calling Chow Cab and asking about my missing item. They claimed to have called me twice to tell me. I had no missed calls from them. I confirmed that they had my correct cell. I was able to get them to place another order and waive the delivery fee. However everything I ordered was cold. I hope the replacement order that hasn't arrived yet is not cold as well. Will not use this service again. Order at your own risk. FYI I'm in Daytona Beach. read more

Love the convenience, but drivers do not check orders so they are consistently incomplete. Wait over an hour for food, can't eat because incomplete and then told that it will take an hour to an hour and a half to correct order. Did not mind paying extra for convenience, but now cannot trust that we will get the food we ordered. The ticket with what we ordered was stapled to bag, how hard would it be to check that it is all included. This time food was cold as well. Competitor has less choice but never had a problem with them. Either they are growing too fast or just don't give a damn. read more

Not worth the wait or the extra charges. I've used Chowcab several times in the past and the couriers are just rude and unpleasant. I ordered a burger and ice cream dessert from Mulligans through this service and it came to me (over an hour later). My dessert was completely melted it didn't even resemble a pie anymore and I paid $6.99 for it. Through the app I ordered Mayo and Ketchup ONLY for my burger and it was a plain bun and patty. Unacceptable for a $13 burger that wasn't even made correctly. The chowcab app is not easy to use and clearly it has problems relaying info to the restaurant. I called to complain and the option was to refund or wait another 1.5 hours for my dessert... read more

I ordered online and the wait time said 1 hr 4 min.. As soon as I placed my order at 540 PM the estimated delivery time said between 750 and 817! Which of course it came in at 810. How can anyone eat a sandwich without an Oreo milkshake? I day dreamed ALL day about this milkshake and was extremely disappointed when I didn't receive it with my meal. I am very disappointed in Chow Cab which I have used for a long time, but after several bad experiences I will never use them again. Last straw was last night when we only received half of our order. When I called to resolve, I was told it would take at least 1 to 1.5 hours, and I was informed Chow Cab I was ok to wait and by 9:45 pm I gave up and never received my meal. I spoke to 3 people within 15minutes of incorrect delivery and had poor customer service and was told they would re send the driver with my meal which never happened. read more

I understand that there can always be issues but if you are going to have a business like this you need to respond quickly with a solution. Terrible service! My order was wrong, food wasn't cooked as I requested, and it was delivered an hour late. I know it wasn't the restaurant's fault because I frequently eat there and they have outstanding reviews. In fact, they perfectly cook my food as I request every time. This company is notorious for screwing up orders! They're literally too lazy to read or mention simple requests, such as no dairy for lactose intolerant customers. Never again. Never. Driver calls and says one of the items is not available, do you want to replace it with something else. I told him no, as my son will only eat chicken nuggets from the restaurant we chose. Apparently in his mind that meant cancel the entire order. We didn't find this out until we called to check on the order that was placed 2 1/2 hours before this.Driver then tried to say I was lying and told him to cancel the whole order. However I was on speaker phone with my wife listening when he first call. When I told him I would never do business with them again. The drivers reply was" That's Fine" and hung up on me. Used them to deliver food for a party I was having after I ordered they called me 25 minutes later to tell me that restaurant was closed and that I would need to order something else so I go on there and re-order and an hour and a half later after my food was supposed to arrive I call them to find out what's going on only to be told that they called me to tell me that the restaurant was closed I told them no you didn't you only called me the first time not the second time and I went off because now I have a house full of people and no food and the manager offered me a free meal when I went to order the free meal I found out that they actually blocked my address so that now I can't order from them anymore that was the solution to the problem this is probably one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with I'm surprised honestly they're still in business wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy read more

Ordered a meal for a group and got a confirmation email. Never got a phone call or voice mail saying anything about further confirmation. Called two hours later and talked to Greg who told me my order never went through and that they called me to confirm and left a message. (That never happened) He was rude but said this happens all the time and that it's above his pay grade. I ordered my food through Chow Cab last night. I have specific instructions and even said please and thank you while doing so. Paid for my order and even prematurely tipped. The driver left behind the sauces that I asked for. I called him 1 min later. The driver said ok he will call dispatch and call me back. I gave him 15 minutes and received no call. When I called him back he ignored my phone call. I called the "friendly customer service" and spoke with Greg I believe his name was. He acknowledged that it was their fault that I didn't get what I ordered, but that they were not going to turn back around and bring me what I ordered. Even though I paid for my order and also tipped. He wasn't kind and wasn't helpful at all. If you all are going to half ass and not read the notes the customer should be compensated in some way. Poor poor poor customer service. I left a voicemail with a manager and still have yet to receive a phone call back. Obviously money isn't the issue because I paid and tipped. People want what they order and not to be told that they will absolutely not try to rectify the situation. Very disappointed. I wrote this same review on their FB page and also sent an email. I have been ordering from Chow Cab Palm City for over six months. I live in Port St Lucie. In most cases the food has been delivered earlier than the time given. But there are problems. I've learned, especially when it comes to a big order, to check the bags prior to signing the receipt. There have been many, many times items I've ordered were missing. I've contacted Chow Cab and have been offered to have a replacement sent (which would take an additional half hour to forty five minutes) a credit to my card, or a credit on next order's bill. They've been decent about it, but when you have people waiting for an item that's a no-show, it's frustrating. And again, this isn't an isolated occurrence. I'd say at least one out of every four or five orders. The most recent issue that really is unacceptable is that I ordered two 64 ounce bottles of soda at the insane price of $3.75 each! I was in a bind and just overlooked the ridiculous price. Now it is explained that 64 ounce bottles are supplied through Chow Cab. The following day one of the bottles were opened and it tasted horrible. It was Mountain Dew, but it was flat and chemical tasting. The seal hadn't been broken when I opened it, so it couldn't be that. Imagine my surprise when I saw the expiration date was within one week. I then looked at the Pepsi, which had already been opened and that too was within a month of expiration. At almost $8 for two bottles of soda I called Chow Cab to express my concern. I was told that the driver who delivers the order is responsible for picking up the soda orders, and that Chow Cab does not supply the bottles to the driver. Basically telling me you're out of luck. So now I have decided even though it's a nice convenience, I'm done with this delivery service. It's bad enough when going through a drive through window you have to be on top of things, I don't want to have to do the same when I'm paying top dollar. There are many other places that are offering the same convenience, going to try elsewhere. read more
