I used to go to Cho's Kitchen almost every Sunday after church a long time ago. The food was consistent almost every time. Once in a great while we would get some food that wasn't all that great. Anyway, after almost 6 years of not going I went and paid the old traditional place a visit and it was good but not great. In the 6 years I have had some amazing Chinese food and have been to places that blew me the heck away. The restaurant itself is run down. It's very old and a few things have been updated but it needs some updating and upgrading. Eva has been working there for a very long time. She looks so tired now and lacks a lot of patience. I'll stick to the new places that I've come across these years and pass this place up. Sorry, not sorry.

Best Chinese food in Selma! Nothing fancy, just great tasting food and super awesome service. This place has been around for over 50 years! I love the staff, the pan fried noodles and very best egg foo yung and sauce. I keep it simple with pan fried noodles, fried rice, egg foo yung , plate #7 other ppl swear by the Chinese chicken salad, this really good and big soup, and ppl really like shrimp too. If you like old school Chinese food and excellent service, try Cho's! A local favorite!!

RETRO CHINESE-AMERICAN FOOD This is not the most authentic Chinese restaurant but it was my first exposure to Chinese food when I was a child so its appeal is purely nostalgic now. Pork Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and Fried Shrimp They have the most unusual chow mein that is covered with a gloopy bean sprout, celery, and onion paste. It does not look appetizing but there is some strange alchemy that takes place when it is mixed with the unique tasting fried noodles. Somehow it all works. The first bite instantly transported me back to my youth.

There's an unspoken law about Asian restaurants: the closer the dining room gets to majority Asian,…read morethe more you can trust the food is authentic. Well, for a Chinese restaurant tucked deep in a white neighborhood, Dynasty Chinese Cuisine breaks this law. Food: 5/5 From our first bite, we could tell everything was made in-house. The crispy potsticker wrapper dis not taste like it came frozen from a Bibigo bag, and the egg roll filling tasted fresh. None of our appetizers appeared to be pre-made and previously frozen. The Black Pepper Beef Skillet came out still sizzling and smoking, and the meat was tender and moist. We also ordered the BBQ Pork Chow Fun, and the noodles had a balanced smoky flavor. The meat was also tender. From our photos, you could see a hefty portion of meat in each dish. Other tables ordered the combos, and their plates came out of the kitchen with heaping portions, too. This restaurant also makes their chili oil in-house, and it's properly spicy. This is one of the best Chinese food I've ever had, and for the price point, this place deserves the elusive 5 out of 5. Our only (small) complaint is that the food is relatively heavy, but that's to be expected as we didn't order vegetable dishes. Service: 4.5/5 There appears to be one server manning the floor the majority of the time, but the owner came out to check in on patrons. Both were super friendly and attentive, chatting with us about recommendations and welcoming us to the area. Our food came out super quick and hot, around 15 minutes after we ordered. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 This restaurant is a proper casual Chinese restaurant, and the atmosphere reflects that. We did not expect it to be as lively as it was when we came in for lunch at 1:30pm on a weekday. The noise levels and music were not offensive. And the place is incredible clean! The dining floor and bathroom looked well-maintained and clear of any debris. I would recommend this restaurant for a dinner date for one, a family meal, or takeout. Final rating: 4.5/5 (rounding up to 5 on Yelp)

Our food didn't take very long and it was all really hot and fresh. The prices were pretty decent for what they come with. The food tasted really good.
