She proceeded to tell him that we had to buy drinks in order to play pool because she didn't want the place to turn into a "pool hall." Keep in mind the place is very small and there are four pool tables. We complied. I ordered a Sprite, which is not alcoholic. However, at that point the lady behind the bar said she needed to see my ID because it was required in all bars. She proceeded to take my ID and write something down on a sheet of paper. My date and I are both black and everyone in the bar appeared Caucasian. The lady behind the bar was very unwelcoming. And since she couldn't directly say this is a whites-only bar she did her best to make us feel uncomfortable. So we decided not to spend our money there.

Mostly drinks except on occasions you won't know anything about. The good thing about that is there's less of a crowd, so you can get better service in theory. A pretty divey ass bar. It was pretty crowded the last time here. This is kind of hard to get to. Parking lot is in the back. This is also next to a liquor store. It's $3 for most domestic beers. Pretty much the basic stuff here and not much fancy. Has no food except crackers. These are free. Good place to get a few cheap drinks. It's overall kind of dirty but gets you drinks fast. There's no food usually but you can bring in some from outside.

They don't have a kitchen, but are tied to the little pizza joint on the corner, and they carry the basic nom noms... Calzones, pizzas, chicken wings, well you get it. I have never had an issue with either the regulars, or the bartenders. But if you act a fool, you will be treated like a fool. It's a good ol' boy hangout, and coming here to discuss your new kale and arugula based mud mask is not going to go over well for you. This is a place to drink, play the jukebox, have a smoke without the judgement of the hipster with blackframed glasses, writing his thesis on a typewriter in the corner. Plenty of TVs are lined along the wall playing whatever is the thing, and the bartender has never had an issue changing the channel on one to satisfy a customer. They carry on top a few crafts on draft, and some of the regular piss water like any other bar. They do have a lot more craft in the fridge in bottles. The glasses are cold and frosty and run about 4 bucks a beer. There are also daily specials on the wall, and dollar tacos and 50 cent boneless wings are my fave. They do not try to be a 5 star Zagat Rated whatever kind of place, and that is why they get 5 stars. No worries if you do though, the regulars all know that there's no room, they'll for give you. The bathrooms are itty bitty but, they're clean enough. Oh, point of fact - the bathrooms is one occupant, there's a toilet and a sink. Lines happen... Being in Indiana, there's smoking allowed inside. It gets smokey but, the ventilation can kinda keep up. BIKER BAR - Either you'll like it or you'll avoid it. I thought that it was pretty cool. Problem is that it's not that often when it's not "so busy". It's not that I don't like the people, it just seems to me that everybody is sitting so close to everybody else. Not that much room.
