I have often, over my 83 years on this earth, had my haircuts at various barber shops and/or…read moresalons, in numerous locations. Ever since I [completely inadvertently], discovered "Hold Fast Barber Shop Shave Parlour", it brought me back to the absolutely near-perfect hair-cutting experiences of my much younger high school years, when each barber took considerable time, and utilized tremendous care, in making certain that my expectations for a GREAT haircut were always met. This same experience occurs every time I get my hair cut at HOLD FAST BARBER SHOP SHAVE PARLOR!! I love going to this barber shop, because all of the three barbers there, Rich, the owner, Riley, his son, and Jeremy, are certified and are truly excellent at their profession. In addition, the atmosphere there is filled with enjoyable music, and even better conversations, all of the time. I LOVE GOING TO "HOLD FAST BARBER SHOP SHAVE PARLOUR", and BY THE WAY, NO PERSON HAS EVER ASKED ME TO WRITE THIS REVIEW! If you [any man] and/or your son live between eastern Pennsylvania and Somerset County, New Jersey, and of course, easily within Hunterdon County, I strongly recommend you seriously consider driving to 11 Church Street in Flemington, for your next haircut, for you will not only never be disappointed, but you, too, will love getting your haircut in an old-fashioned barber shop, where the barbers cutting your hair are damn-near perfect, and, most of all, show that they truly care about YOU! Donna is simply the best barber in the area!…read more I had long looked for a good barber in the Clinton/Flemington area, and I tried them all. Most were OK, a couple were good, but Donna was GREAT! She quickly understood the kind of haircut I wanted and did it just right from day one. Besides asking how I wanted each part of my haircut done, I much appreciated the options and ideas she would offer as we went. The end result was that she turned the haircut I asked for into the haircut I truly wanted. She just "gets" how to cut men's hair. And beards! I was also delighted to find that she was very experienced and skilled with trimming beards. Just like my haircut, she "gets" how to trim my beard to make it look its best. On top of getting a great haircut/beard trim, Donna is delightful and I also enjoy look forward to our visits. If you are reading this review then trust me - you have found your barber! I cannot recommend Donna highly enough!
