In response to the business reply: PPF failure and rock chip "touch up" can be seen in new photos. I do agree that touch up isn't perfect, but the BEFORE AND AFTER PICS should let you know about their skills. It can be seen that the damage caused is MORE SIGNIFICANT than the rock chip. The clear coat is burned through and repaint is necessary. Update 1 (April 2024): Chris did my ppf and some issues came up with the edges. There were also debris caught in the ppf during installation. There were also knife marks caused during the cutting of the ppf. This can be seen in the pictures as well. Came up with excuses that the film is a new brand. If one can't score the film and not pierce through it and into the clear coat, shouldn't do ppf at all. Update 2 (June 2024): Redid the ppf but edges are still lifting. Ppf failure again...Asked for rock chip repair and he ended up leaving a blob with the clear coat burned through. Attached would be pictures of the rock chip fix and ppf failure. So sick of dealing with this business. A repaint on the hood would cost lots of money at this point. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! It is better to pay more for quality, especially with automotive care.

What's even more astonishing is that you took the time to write an entire essay defending a policy over a product that likely costs you less than the paper your receipts are printed on. You seem more concerned with proving you're right than understanding why you're losing a customer. Nobody was asking for unlimited freebies. I asked for ONE additional air freshener after spending another $65 on a detail, on top of my monthly membership. The fact that you felt the need to compare that to someone demanding unlimited fries at McDonald's tells me just how far you've missed the point. Here's a basic business principle you apparently haven't grasped: The lifetime value of a loyal customer is worth considerably more than the few pennies it costs to keep that customer happy. And the irony is that you could have resolved this entire situation with a little common sense and decent customer service. Instead, you've managed to turn a virtually worthless air freshener into a lost customer and a public demonstration of poor business judgment. You can hide behind your policies, defend your employee, and write all the lengthy explanations you want. None of that changes the fact that you chose to protect pennies at the expense of dollars. The air freshener wasn't expensive. Your inability to understand the value of a customer is. Spiffy only did a basic wash (which I could've done myself or paid $18 for), and Royal Aces has yet to make this right. Zero telephone communication (you get a voicemail). Incorrect address on web site (there is no location at Snider Plaza). Cryptic texts every few days, then no communication after many weeks of follow up.
