Firstly, I was confused when I drove onto the block and saw another named business at the address. I found on street parking on the side street & called the number advertised across the business. I was advised they were the same business but had a name revision. The entry was toward the rear of the building. There are 2 steps to navigate for those that may have any mobility challenges. The first thing you see is a spacious open area that has several booths along the wall & an opening to the main dining area that houses the beverage area and numerous tables & booths looking out onto the street. There are mounted televisions surrounding the room & music playing in the background. The Servers are professional, pleasantly inviting and friendly. The food smells & tastes heavenly & the combination platters are savory, seasoned to perfection & very plentiful. My combination platters had shrimp, whiting and fries & were so heavy I couldn't believe it. The value was amazing for the amount of food you received. The seafood offerings were great by the pound. This is a place you will want to return for many more days to enjoy over & over.

Seafood came with corn and potatoes as well, I think 2-3/each were in our bag. Shake sauce level hot is perfect, lil spice without discomfort. I like that you can choose spice level. Seafood was well coated and all the food was perfectly cooked. Fried foods so crispy and well seasoned. Food came out decently fast as well, albeit it wasn't busy when I went. Plenty of seating and chill atmosphere, great music. Provided bib and gloves. Staff helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Will come back 1000x. Only critique is that the booth seat I was sat in moved really easily, not sure if it's all the seats or just the one. There was a family seated behind me and whenever they moved, the whole seat would move. Hope they can secure it down somehow!

Now that I tried something basic, I would definitely return to try a crab platter.

Options for sauce was a mix of Cajun and garlic butter with a heat level of mild. I also got the crab meat fried rice and an order of hush puppies. It took roughly about 15-20 minutes for the crab meat fried rice to come out, shortly followed by the boil mix. The rice was cook to perfection. It wasn't oily, vegetables were cook tender, and there was a nice portion of crab meat throughout the rice. It was plenty for two to three people, if not four. The boil mix upon initial look didn't seem like a hearty portion but it truly is. The crab legs were cook to the point you could crack the shell and pull the crab meat out without struggle. It made for dipping in the Cajun garlic butter sauce enjoyable. The shrimp were plump, large, deheaded and cleaned. It didn't take much to pull the remaining shell off. The side vegetables that cone with the boil were cook to tender perfection. All and all, what a surprise to find while in the search for a seafood boil meal. I wasn't expecting for the food to be as tasty as it was since this places didn't have many or any customers upon my arrival. The outside doesn't scream come in and eat here, neither does the inside. But my experience wasn't based on looks it was the product they are putting out and that's delicious seafood. Quick inviting service from walking through the door until walking out. Prices seem in line with other restaurants I've been too that sell similar dishes. I definitely would give them another go to make sure it wasn't a fluke of a first experience.

The staff were super friendly and checked in just enough without being annoying. The food was the best part for sure. Everything tasted fresh and actually well-seasoned, especially the seafood. You can tell it's not just thrown together--it had that real Mediterranean flavor. The portions were good too, I definitely left full. There's also a nice variety on the menu, so it's easy to find something you'll like. Overall, it's a really solid spot. If you're into seafood or just want something different with good flavor, I'd definitely recommend it. I'd go back for sure.

We were looking to try a different restaurant this weekend, and decided to try Seven Seas…read more We started with a yummy roasted eggplant remoulade with tomato. I put it on the fresh pita and it was an excellent starter. We ordered the Caesar Salad - it was very good - fresh, green leafy lettuce - crispy croutons, a sprinkling of grated cheese, and a delicious dressing. Next up, the Crab Bisque. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. While our Caesar salad, Scallops and side dishes were very good, the rest of the meal was lacking.

I've been going to Hook&Reel whenever I got a taste for seafood, but that's a 40 minute round trip, so I was glad that Crazy Crab House open. Me and hubby ordered Fried Shrimp Basket, Fried Flounder, a pound of snow crab legs combo and a pound of lobster tail in crazy crab sauce. We both enjoyed the fried platters alot especially the fried shrimps, they were fried to perfection. I also like my crab leg combo. The crab legs were filled with meat.. The reason why i say that is bc i got 2 pounds of crab legs from Acme last week, those legs hardly have any meat inside, which is pretty disappointing. Minus one star for the two lobster tails. The lobster tail got some kind of vein in them that makes them taste weird. So do de-vein before you bite them, other than that, everything taste delicious. Hope Crazy Crab House keep up the good works, I will definitely come back for more!
