Front Desk agent was not at the front desk so I called him at the telephone number provided. This gentleman was busy doing something else but didn't inform me on the phone he was not near a computer to verify my information I needed. I asked at 5 something in the am for my parents room number because I had a horrible migraine and I needed a Coke and per this gentleman I cannot charge a Coke to the room without my fathers permission. So, I said is it... the front desk guy says" oh yeah" Somat 5 something in the morinig I go knock on said door and knock and knock for 10 minutes. Someone finally. Opened the door. " it wasn't my parents" And these people were NOT happy I had woke them up. So... I go call again, I get the guy I ask him " are you even a time the front desk? He says: No, I am plunging a toliet. I said why didn't you tell me this, I went to the wrong room " idiot" you didn't even look up my parents room. Can you pleas go look up my parents room.
So, He does. He says they are in .... I said NO! Someone else is in there.
Go to your computer and look up where Mr..... is! So, He looks and says: Oh, they were moved to Room# .... I said if you had done this the first time I wouldn't have woke up people in the other room. He states why don't you try to call the. ( not, knowing that I had already exhausted those resources) I replied: I have you " idiot" and hung up the connection.
I went to my parents room. I came out and this guy comes charging out from oparound the ice machine area and he is " screaming are you the one that just called me about room ..." I replied: yes. He begins to get in my face and SCREAMING AT ME IN THE HALLWAY at 5 am in the hotel and He is screaming threats and comments and I am walking and he keeps getting in my face and he is blocking my way to exit and intimidating me. He screaming" YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO CALL ME AN IDIOT! And repeats this... on and on ranting about stuff and I am just trying to get out of the way and exit and He keeps getting in my face!
SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS YOU GET OUT OF HERE!"
JUST LEAVE! " YOU PEOPLE JUST GET OUT OF HERE!
As I finally managed to get to the door. ( This was not a BLM thing. This was a professional thing)
I snuck back in beacause, I am have a vision impairment and my ADA dog was in my room. And I needed to get back with him and calm down.
This front desk guy was waking up people screaming in the hotel lobby.
He continued to discuss the with whomever on his cell phone or anyone...( I could hear him, but I was not present for conversations)
His story was totally different then what actually happened. This gentleman was telling untruthful thing to whomever and was very loud and voictrous in the hotel. Waking people up. As I remained in my room at 6:33 am This front desk gentleman was still speaking very loudly claiming this was a RACIAL ISSUE... ( I never saw the guy. Until he charged at me in the hallway) I never said anything in the sort stating this was racially charged. This was a professional issue of a guy who was in the bathroom when I needed the front desk. He was embarrassed that he clogged the toliet in the hallway. And He took his anger out on me about not taking the time to do his job to look up a room number to assist me in getting aide for a neurological issue I was having at the time.- chronic migraine. Then, he was advised of this issue and began SCREAMING at me with this migraine.
I am not sure even what to say. Other than what I said before" Idiot" !
That is not a racist comment. If he is offended. So am I. I received poor customer service. Phyical intimidation attacks, Verbal threats and "YOU PEOPLE NEED TO LEAVE"
