Yelp, Google, Apple Maps all say open till 5. I show up and there's a handwritten note on the door that says "appointment only"

The showroom looks like it has a lot of selection but they need to update their website. I went out of my way to go to their Rosemead location because it said this location was open on Sundays and "walk in's welcome, no appointment required" while all other locations required appointments. Sunday was my only day available but when I got there the door was locked with a note on the door saying that it's by appointment only. read more

This is a good business who offers fair prices and has excellent installers. Quartz countertops look great and I am satisfied for the work done for me. Would use this supplier and installer again. read more

Wrong Choice to replace the counter top at my home. They added a thin layer of wood around the sink before they placed the new counter top on the frame. - this causes the sink to be at a higher level than the rest of the counter - when you wash dishes, the water drains to the back end of the counter - the water also drains to the counter on the sides of the sink  - my dad had to diy a (Mickey Mouse) repair so the water could be stopped from collecting inappropriately This is pretty basic stuff that shouldn't happen if you have a counter top professionally installed. If you're "feeling lucky," you can give them a try and see if this is the Choice for you! :) read more

Choice Granite & Kitchen Cabinets - Dad's DIY due to contractor's work - General Contractors Near Me - Rosemead, California

Ordered my granite counter tops from Choice for my bathroom and kitchen remodel. Their prices were the cheapest for granite for the color I wanted. I went to over 10 different granite places all over El Monte and 626. They had the best deal per slab. Even my island slab was cheap. FYI, there is no solid white granite. I ordered Salt and Pepper color because it had the cleanest white look to it. And your granite will most likely not look like what you picked on the display because it will be cut from a different rock but it will look very similar. I recommend checking all over El Monte and 626 because there are so many vendors but they were the cheapest for me. read more

I has a kitchen cabinets & quartz installation in an apartment in Glendale ca with Choice Cabinets late 2022 that went very well as promised, on schedule, excellent workmanship. They use personal service and their own crew. I'll recommend them and give them another project without reservation. Garnik read more

Horrible company! We hired this company to install granite in our kitchen for an upcoming wedding. They left the kitchen in worse condition than before with holes in the wall that was visible. We complain and promises were made to finish the work but instead- the owner came over yelled and threaten us. They did not complete the job needless to say. We had to go elsewhere to have the kitchen finished jn time. A bunch of liars! Do not trust them! They do not care about the quality of the work, just get it attitude and collect the check. read more

Greg Nazarian has done work for my Real Estate Group and for my family on several different occasions. My team has had the opportunity to take advantage of Choice Granite's amazing workmanship, extreme sensitivity to dead lines, and value orientated approach to making our homes look amazing. We have been able to take homes that people would be horrified to look at, into homes that scream luxury and contemporary style. Because of the work he did for several of our remodeled homes, my team trusted him to let him into our own homes and do our granite remodeling as well. We could not be happier. Being a very meticulous person, Greg orchestrated amazing workmanship down to the detail. He also followed up with us in the months to come to make sure the work was quality as stated. He is not the standard "do the work and then forget it" mentality that is rampant in the industry. I recommend him not only as an amazing granite connoisseur, but also as a good human being and friend. You can not go wrong with a company and owner like him. read more

Just called for an estimate, kinda unprofessional response from the clueless lady that answered. I needed someone to come to my house and provide an accurate estimate, the lady wanted me to take measurements and give them to her over the phone or via a text, I can go to Home Depot for that. I believe the person answering the phone is the first step in a good business relationship, and if that is not met with a professional demeanor then what else can possibly be expected. For that you get one star. read more

Prices: great! Joe/ Greg: great! Quoting process was easy, and scheduling was flexible! finished work: great! Had white subway tile done for a bathroom and will be using them again for a second bathroom. This showroom: not so great. Go to the larger showroom! Also the lady working here was worthless. Zero help. read more

More like Bad Choice granite. The owner was cool but this is not about him, it is about his unprofessional and dishonest workers. The granite job was ok, my main complaint was that there was a gap in between the backsplash and wall. All they could do was fill it with putty. What I'm pissed about was that they STOLE our fruit from our tree. I don't mind you taking a couple or even a dozen if you just ASK. I swear they brought their own bags because all the fruit was taken within an arms reach and that tree produces A LOT of fruit. This was over a 2 day period that it took to complete the job. Whats even worse was that they threw the peelings after they ate on the ground for US to clean up. Seriously, WTF! THe owner sincerely apologized to us but what can you do? I have a little baby at home and I can't supervise everything that goes on outside. Watch your belongings and your fruit. read more

I contacted Greg for installation of Granite in my Kitchen. It was a last minute change to the major renovation I am doing. We have not moved into our home yet so we are in a hurry to get things completed. He came out that same evening, to review the kitchen and give me a quote. A few days later I decided to put granite in my bathrooms as well and he came out again. This time he went to my parents home as they had left over granite from their renovation that I was using. He measured the granite to make sure there was enough for the bathrooms. The installers came out and installed the granite in the kitchen and bathrooms. They did not install the backsplash in the bathroom until I called to ask them to come back. I thought was very unprofessional. Their reasoning was that there was not enough granite. Then tell me that. Don't just walk away. Greg did get more material and it was installed. In addition, I paid them extra to add more holes after the installation. Because their drill bits kept breaking, they did not finish yet even though they were paid. I was told they are losing money by having to come back and finish the holes. That's not my problem. I was quoted a price and I paid that price. The job should have been completed. I ended up calling another granite company to come take care of it for me. As a person, I like Greg but I was disappointed with the service. read more

Great prices and selection. We went around to another larger store in the area and they have a much better price. Prices were also negotiable. Sales people were very helpful and friendly - ask for Vicki or Kelly for best service. read more

Wrong choice. Walked in around 1pm, the least busy time of the day and got no help. The lady was too busy on the phone to greet us. Another couple came in after us and went up to wait directly in front of her. She's still on the phone. Finally after waiting 10 minutes, with no help, we had to go. They obviously don't want or need the business. Will put my money where it's wanted. This is actual the second time we've been in. The first time, the lady was rushing us out and said she couldn't give us quotes bc she had to leave and it was only 12:30 pm. We were put off but decided to give it another try. Poor choice again. read more

A while back, my husband and I decided to use Choice Granite to order and install laminates in our house. No matter what style you like, Choice Granite has one of the best selections around. Martin and Dorothy were very friendly and their level of customer service was outstanding. Furthermore, their prices are very competitive, even for those budget conscious customers. Martin was willing to work with our budget. In the end, we got the laminates we wanted, didn't exceed our budget, and we didn't even have to settle for some cheaper substitutes. The installers were very friendly and easy to work with. The project took 2 days to complete and our house has been completely transformed! I am completely satisfied with my experience with Choice Granite. read more

We had kitchen cabinets and granite installed by Choice Granite & Cabinets and I must say, I am very pleased and satisfied with their work! My kitchen looks so beautiful!! I met with tons of cabinet companies; some gave the impression that they didn't want(or need your business), some were very, very pricey, and others were just unprofessional or didn't seem trustworthy. I ended up going with this company and glad I did. They have the best prices and customer service. They actually care about doing a good job. We had the pleasure to work out the details with Vicki, whom was super helpful. The guy who installed the cabinets was very meticulous and careful about doing his work without error. There were 2 damaged cabinets (from the manufacturer) - but they were replaced with out any issue. The showroom could use some organization but it has everything you need for your kitchen. A huge selection of granite and an even bigger selection of tile. In fact, we are going back to select our tile soon. read more

I had laminates and baseboards installed by Choice Granite & Cabinets last weekend (Rosemead store). Their selection was quite extensive and there was many different styles to choose from. Prior to placing my order with Choice, I shopped around for the best price. Of course, if you live in the SGV, you would know there are many stores around the area and many of them have cut throat pricing. Unfortunately, those cut throat prices are for outdated styles from the 90s and they wouldn't have fit the modern look I wanted. Dorothy, the sales rep, and Martin, the owner, was very helpful throughout the whole process and because of their attention to customer service, their outstanding selection and their willingness to work with my budget, I ended up placing my order with them even though they weren't the absolute cheapest price. The installer they had coming out to my place was very easy to work with. I've read some of the reviews on here, and I can honestly say, if you have a specific preference on how you want things installed, you better tell the installers beforehand because they can't read your mind. However, if properly instructed prior to installing, they definitely can and will perform magic! I am extremely satisfied with the service I received, nothing short of being top notch! Thank you again, Choice Granite, for a job well done!! read more

My brother in law had Choice Granite do his kitchen. After reviewing and inspecting all the work done I was happy to move forward with Choice Granite. I have a small galley kitchen that needed updating and working with Dorothy and Martin was great. With installation there were some problems, but Martin personally came out and took care of it all. His #1 goal was to make sure the Customer (Me) was satisfied and he did everything necessary to make sure I was happy. The more I talked to him personally, the more I saw how honest and sincere he is. I had cracks in my concrete foundation and he made suggestions and helped me be preventative regardless of me not purchasing flooring from him. (I went with carpet) 5 Stars for Martin. I have no problem referencing friends and family to Martin and his business. read more

Ok well I had no idea it could be this easy. Joe is so great he made this whole thing just work. I had them do the demo clean up put in the sink and the counters. They had to do this all in a condo that made it so hard. No up charge no issue nothing Joe is so easy going. I will never do a counter without him. Don't even get a quote just let them make your life easy. I'm not paid by them or family I just wanted to give you the best referral ever. The kitchen looks great and it's all because of Joe at choice granite. read more

I was looking to remodel my kitchen at a reasonable price and I thought choice granite was it. I'm not sure if this was their regular install crew, but they basically cut a couple of wall slabs a bit too short. The supervisor came out to take a look when it was time to for me to pay the balance. I showed him the gaps I saw. On one side of the kitchen, the gap wasn't too big (though still noticeable). He offered to put colored putty to disguise the gap. He said gaps were normal as sometimes they are necessary to help slide pieces of granite into place. I was ok with this solution as I'm pretty reasonable and his explanation seemed reasonable (at least for some of the gaps). However, as to the other wall, his crew cut the granite way too short, leaving a HALF INCH gap. I thought people are supposed to follow that rule , "measure twice and cut once." Now every time I'm cooking, I'm reminded I paid several thousand dollars for my dream kitchen that I'm not happy with. I realize that they weren't going to supply me with a new slab. But slapping on brown putty to fix all gaps including a 1/2 gap just seems like they just wanted a quick Mickey Mouse fix so they could get out of the job asap. Maybe I'm not a regular customer of theirs like some of the other posters (contractors, house flippers, etc.) so they didn't really care about my business. They've earned one unhappy customer. A picture is worth a thousand words...here's a photo of choice granite's workmanship so people can decide for themselves. read more

Choice Granite & Kitchen Cabinets - General Contractors Near Me - Rosemead, California

in response the company's response to my 1-star review, here is my response to that: first of all, i was NEVER offered a redo on my cabinets for the island. like i stated before, your employee william just said "you cause too much problems! i take everything down then if you don't like and you go elsewhere." and like i said, you guys had 75% of my deposit at that point. so tell me 1. where in that abrupt conversation from william did he offer to redo the cabinets? and 2. what kind of recourse did you think a consumer realistically have at that point given everything that went down (i'm talking about the countertop problem)? and to say that the colors come a shade or two lighter or darker like you're trying to pawn that off as an excuse? well, my cabinets were obviously cherry/mahogany color, not espresso, which should be a dark brown, close to black color. i even brought in one of the drawers and compared it next to one of the espresso models you guys had on the floor to show william the huge difference in the color, and that's when he made the comments he made and pretty much shouted at me like i was the one who was in the wrong. whatever color discrepancies there may be, it's your responsibility as a business to work this out with the manufacturer, and not the costumers. also, because of the countertop issue, the third party you guys hired had to come back to redo the countertop it happened AFTER my birthday. do you think if i was offered a redo on my cabinets that i wouldn't have taken it, if it means it can be done correctly? i mean, my birthday celebration was important, but it's not that important where it would dictate a wrong colored cabinet that i'm now stuck with for god knows how long. i will say i commend the two guys you hired to do the countertop. even though they screwed it up the first time, they at least came back and switched out the countertop for a new one and redid it correctly. i appreciated their effort and honesty for coming back because they could've taken off and disappeared since i have no info on them or contract with them, but with your lousy company instead. i wish i can say that your company has the same moral, but apparently not from all the lousy reviews you have. also, you made it sound like i didn't coordinate my time schedule. are you kidding me? that was the first thing i did with william. i told him if it's possible to have the island done by a very specific date and he said yes. yet from your comment, you made it sound like it was MY poor time coordination. Yeah ok.. YOU. GUYS. ARE. RIDICULOUS. read more

Got 2 kitchens done by this company and they left one of the kitchens incomplete and they said they would be back the next week. 3 months later they still can't come complete the kitchen. I keep calling the owner and the workers and they just say they are coming and I have even missed work to wait for them and they don't show up. This is kind of ridiculous now cuz it's been so long and I still can't get just 3feet complete. Don't recommended this place at all! read more

Not real happy with the installation or Kelly's attitude. She will promise the world and not be around when you don't like what she delivered. I wont shop there again at any price!!! On the plus side some friends also had their granite installed by them, and it was beautiful. Their neighbors also had theirs done, with not so good results. I would assume it depends on the installer, They have two teams that I know of, Mine and the not to happy neighbors were the same guy, Hmm! read more

As a designer/project manager specializing in residential renovations I have dealt with several kitchen & bath companies. Choice Granite has a bountiful selection of cabinets, countertops and tiles (floor and wall). Their prices are very competitive (one of the best) in the SGV, but just as important is their customer service. Sit down or schedule a consultation with Vicki Ong if you are seriously considering purchasing cabinets. She is very knowledgable and will provide you with an estimate on the spot (if you have exact and correct measurements). Some of my clients have a hard time visualizing their completed kitchen so if you do too ask for a 3D generated drawing. I recommend visiting the showroom to get a feel of the products. Good quality, plywood constructed cabs with dovetail drawers. Hardware (knobs and handles) not included, but given the reasonable prices here you can use the money saved to buy your own hardware to give it that extra custom tailored effect. read more

My parents used Choice Granite a few weeks ago to order and install granite counter tops in their kitchen. I'm located in Seattle, but they live in SoCal, not far from the Rosemead showroom. I'm posting this review for them because they aren't on the "Interwebs" much. So that my dad could focus on doing a lot of the remodel work himself, I helped him out by communicating with the various people who were helping him, like Martin at Choice Granite. We selected Choice Granite based on Yelp reviews and I'm glad we did. We worked with Martin on the project from start to finish and he was great. He is professional and great at communicating with us, which is huge. He worked with my dad to order the granite, layout the cuts on the slab and made sure that his installers were on time (they were actually a little early!) and completed the job in a timely fashion. I was a little nervous to work with a contractor that I hadn't worked with before, but I'm glad we got to work with Martin. My parents are very happy with their gorgeous counter tops! read more
