Finally after five tries, my agent got AGN on the phone, and the very rude representative at AGN said, "We are way too booked up right now to take any new jobs, please stop calling us." Then they again hung up. The next morning, I received a text from AGN Glass LLC, "AGN has received your glass claim and would like to schedule an appointment, please call us. So I did and told them about my experience. Angela could not have been nicer and more apologetic, but too little, too late. No problem, AGN, if you don't want customers, that's fine with me. I went with Bishop Auto Glass and they have done a fabulous job, very polite, professional, and most of all, they want my business. Seems they like customers. Total Epic Fail. I asked if they do replacement windshields. Earl was extremely helpful and said they use Performance Glass and Tint. He said if I give him all my information he will set it up. He told me that Performance Glass and Tint will order the new windshield and come directly to my house to install it. My husband spoke to Andrea At Performance Glass and Tint and she explained that after my insurance approved the windshield she would order it. She also explained that after the window is installed another tech would come to recalibrate the safety features into the windshield. This morning at 8:15 AM Christopher arrived with the new windshield. He was fast and efficient. He explained everything to my husband and informed him that someone else would be by to do the recalibration of the safety features. Christopher explained to my husband that we shouldn't use the car for 1 hour. My husband explained to Christopher that on a previous car we had a cracked windshield and we called a competitor windshield company. They were going to replace it with a generic brand. Christopher informed my husband that this windshield was a "Volkswagen windshield" and not something generic!! At 10:20 am the tech arrived to reinstall the safety features. We had to wait a few days for VW parts to arrive. Christopher showed up early. Got right to work. Shortly after, two helpers showed up. It took 45 minutes to replace the windshield. He explained everything he did. He said another tech will be here later today to re-calibrate the safety features that run off the rear view mirror. I had all of the windows on my SUV tinted, as well as my windshield. The tint job looks perfect, I didn't see any blemishes or screw ups. This shop uses Llumar window tint. I went with the IRX Ceramic line which is their top of the line tint. I got 30% on the front two windows, and right at 6% on the back windows. I also go the 80% Llumar Air Clear on my windshield. The shop does charge a 3% credit card processing fee so make sure you have money on your debit card to avoid the fee. It was $650 to tint all of my windows + $200 to tint the windshield. Taxes + fees the total was: $974.38
