What a great addition to Mauldin. They have a wide variety of homemade chocolates at a great price. I hope they are here years to come!

After completing the Swamp Rabbit trail in Greenville South Carolina, my family and I decided to…read moreexplore downtown Greenville walking the lively streets. I was in the mood for some homemade soft-serve ice cream. To our surprise we stumbled upon River Streets Sweets- an homemade candy and ice cream confectionery located in the heart of downtown Greenville. I was in Oh, with the desserts they had ranging from candy, fudge, chocolate covered apples, soft-serve ice cream, popcorn, nuts, chocolate covered pretzels/marshmallows, and so much more. Thankfully my family was there because I would have bought everything-it's a child's dream. At last I got the soft-serve ice cream I was craving all day. Let me tell you, the ice cream, gelato, and sorbet were truly homemade. To my surprise the prices were not as pricey considering they were in downtown Greenville. My family got two scoops in a cup costing $7.95 a single scoop is $4.95. The scoops are a decent size for the price you are paying. River Streets Sweets has some unique flavors that I have never heard of before, such as Bear Claw, Blueberry, Hazelnut Coffee Crunch, and Pink Grapefruit. They also serve Raspberry Sorbet sugar-free which is nice. My family decided to get Rocky Road and Bear Claw. The ice cream was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. It did not taste artificial like some ice creams in supermarkets. My whole family was pleased with the purchase. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the one member who was mending the ice cream section. She was so kind and energetic, letting my family sample the flavors before purchasing, which a lot of food businesses do not do. In addition, to my surprise, the store was huge, leaving plenty of space to walk around without running into other customers. The store was organized, making it easy to see all the yummy treats. There was no visible dirt or dust, the businesses looked polished. The only downfall would be the parking situation, since they are located in the heart of Greenville parking is limited. I would recommend walking and parking in a free or reduced parking area. The next time I am in downtown Greenville or around the area, I will be stopping by River Streets Sweets to indulge in some of their other sweet treats, such as their fudge and chocolate covered apples. I would recommend checking out River Streets Sweets if you are in the area.

They made it through ok and were good the next 2 days.i wouldn't put them in a roller as i think they need to sit flat if they have a topping which most of mine did. Check their website or Instagram for seasonal/specialty flavors. They also offer lots of different coffees. They are heavy - the boston creme one weighed 9 oz but I would think that's the heaviest one. Plenty of easy, free parking. Half dozen is $30 with no upcharge for seasonal/specialty flavors.

"Listen. LIISTEN". These Donuts Are Different."…read more *Scouts Donuts is Located off Augusta Road, just minutes from Laurens Rd* These donuts go far beyond your average donut and straight into a new realm of flavor, layered, flaky, buttery pillars of excitement. This is not a grab-and-go situation. This is a donut experience, not a donut shop. When I walked in, the display absolutely did not help me narrow my choice down to 2-3. So naturally, I went full speed ahead and grabbed six. At five donuts I was already at $29, so a half-dozen at $30 just made sense. And honestly? Six donuts, zero regrets, Worth Every Cent. Flavors we chose: Coffee Cinnamon Chocolate Buttercream Boston Cream Vanilla Cream Blueberry Lemon Listen. LIISTEN. Do not drive and eat these. Be seated. Be still. Be present. These are the kind of treats that make you feel like a child seeing a valley of Christmas lights for the very first time. I couldn't even wait to get home, the anticipation overtook my patience, so I went straight for the Boston Cream. The filling was unlike anything I've had before: delicate, velvety, and rich, like old-school custard made by grandparents standing over the stove. The flaky layers were so perfectly executed that your mind actually pauses and asks... is this even a donut? And that chocolate topping? Oh, it understood the assignment. It gently whispers: "donut crack." Next bite: Cinnamon, again... donut crack. Then came my personal favorite: Blueberry Lemon. Absolute perfection. The flavors fold into each other without competing. First, the blueberry hits and you think, wait... where's the lemon? And just when your taste buds settle into the blueberry, that bright lemon slides in like, "Hey boo, I'm here." Balanced. Fresh. Memorable. Yes, $30 for six donuts may sound pricey, but trust me, it's worth every single cent. Women, grab that purse. Men, grab that wallet, Head to Scout's & Just thank me later.
