Cookies n' Cream ice cream!
Alex L.

Kilwins is a great place to drop by if you're in the mood for ice cream, fudge and maybe some candy. I grabbed a mint chocolate chip and also a cookies n' cream to go. The gentleman working behind the counter was courteous, down to earth and made a few jokes. As stimulating as this place can be he reassured me of the flavors I chose. Despite being connected to the Hyatt Regency, you you will have to walk outside to get to Kilwins.

Love.. Love... LOVE this place!! Visit this place anytime I am in Greenville, always a great treat! And they really have a very great staff, especially Margaret, always pleasant and delivers service with a smile! Georgia Peach and Old Fashioned Vanilla this time. Yumm! Came back with $46 worth of chocolates too.. have to spoil myself sometimes, right??! A must when in Greenville.

Great place. The candy man on duty, Will knew his stuff. He was able to answer our questions and give suggestions. The store itself was very clean. Everything looked delicious. If you have a chocolate sweet tooth, this is a must stop.

This little shop has been in Greenville for five years and I have managed to overlook it somehow because it is attached to the Hyatt. We found it just walking by and decided to step inside. I was immediately reminded of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Park City, Utah. They are similar concepts, high end varieties of caramel covered apples, home-made fudges, chocolates and ice cream. This is a great find since I used to fly home from business trips to Utah with a "to go" box for my wife with a salted caramel apple or some other variety and now we can just go downtown to Kilwins. The only drawback is that it is $7.00 for a caramel apple. But they are really delicious. They will also cut the apple up for you so it is more convenient to share and to eat. This is probably a great spot for a date night, special dessert.

Kilwins is an occasional indulgence for me. The price tag can be pretty hefty, but there's nothing like walking into a chocolate shop while watching candy apples, fudge, or chocolate covered strawberries being made firsthand. Kilwins is definitely a must-stop shop for teachers' gifts. Teachers are always excited to see Kilwins packaging. Valentine's Day, we order long stem chocolate strawberries. I usually give 1/2 dozen to all of the teachers and it seems to be the highlight of their day. If you preorder early, you can usually save around $3 a dozen. Custom Gifts - the chocolate covered Oreos are perfect if you want something personalized. We've had custom Clemson, Halloween, and birthday cookies made. Super cute and always a rave! The staff is always friendly. They can also be extremely patient while waiting on customers like myself who take forever to make a decision.

Beautiful location, helpful staff, & same delicious sweets you can grab at any Kilwins. I felt horrible being on an important call while in the store, but the accommodating staff was kind enough to bear with me as I chatted & ordered, even going so far as to hold on to my cone until after I paid & got myself together. Who knew customer service at an ice cream shop could be so stellar??

Me my mom and my grandma at kilwins my birthday weekend! Loved the raspberry and lemon sorbetto on my waffle cone! It was good!

Had the pleasure of visiting kilwins my birthday weekend this past summer & i definetly loved the selection of goodies! The GREENVILLE mud was very tasty as I sampled it! My favorite icecream was the lemon sorbetto it was very flavorful! The selection of beautiful candy apples drew my attention as they were tastefully decorated so deliciously! As I am new to the area I am discovering more and more of GREENVILLE SC and I definetly love a good tasty lick of icecream. The staff was so nice & welcoming. Yes I'll come back again! Thanks kilwins sweet tea

As a chocolate junky I just have to give 5 stars. The ice cream is always a delight and don't get me started on fudge or caramel covered apples. Are you kidding me.

Yummy, but ridiculously overpriced. It's a wonderful place, but you're paying for the experience, not necessarily quality.

After completing the Swamp Rabbit trail in Greenville South Carolina, my family and I decided to…read moreexplore downtown Greenville walking the lively streets. I was in the mood for some homemade soft-serve ice cream. To our surprise we stumbled upon River Streets Sweets- an homemade candy and ice cream confectionery located in the heart of downtown Greenville. I was in Oh, with the desserts they had ranging from candy, fudge, chocolate covered apples, soft-serve ice cream, popcorn, nuts, chocolate covered pretzels/marshmallows, and so much more. Thankfully my family was there because I would have bought everything-it's a child's dream. At last I got the soft-serve ice cream I was craving all day. Let me tell you, the ice cream, gelato, and sorbet were truly homemade. To my surprise the prices were not as pricey considering they were in downtown Greenville. My family got two scoops in a cup costing $7.95 a single scoop is $4.95. The scoops are a decent size for the price you are paying. River Streets Sweets has some unique flavors that I have never heard of before, such as Bear Claw, Blueberry, Hazelnut Coffee Crunch, and Pink Grapefruit. They also serve Raspberry Sorbet sugar-free which is nice. My family decided to get Rocky Road and Bear Claw. The ice cream was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. It did not taste artificial like some ice creams in supermarkets. My whole family was pleased with the purchase. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the one member who was mending the ice cream section. She was so kind and energetic, letting my family sample the flavors before purchasing, which a lot of food businesses do not do. In addition, to my surprise, the store was huge, leaving plenty of space to walk around without running into other customers. The store was organized, making it easy to see all the yummy treats. There was no visible dirt or dust, the businesses looked polished. The only downfall would be the parking situation, since they are located in the heart of Greenville parking is limited. I would recommend walking and parking in a free or reduced parking area. The next time I am in downtown Greenville or around the area, I will be stopping by River Streets Sweets to indulge in some of their other sweet treats, such as their fudge and chocolate covered apples. I would recommend checking out River Streets Sweets if you are in the area.
