What a delicious dinner in Prague! I came with my study abroad cohort for a welcome dinner and was…read morevery impressed. We all started off with drinks - I'm not a wine person, but the prosecco was delicious and a great wine. While I typically would subtract a star for slow service, as we had some issues with people receiving drinks and appetizers, we were a large group with only a couple members of the waitstaff taking care of us. Overall, I found them very effective.
For the entrees, we were given the duck confit. WOW! So so good. It was tender and perfectly cooked, and served with pickled cabbage that complemented it perfectly. It also came with a few potato dumplings which in general are a bit heavy so I didn't finish those.
We ended the night with a dessert selection where I along with most of my cohort went with the Misa dessert, a whipped cream-sponge cake filling surrounded by hardened chocolate. It was delicious, but quite rich and I struggled to finish. So, so good though.
The rich history of the restaurant is also absolutely fascinating and I'll recommend this restaurant!
