After a very poor experience at a skilled nursing facility and several questionable ER visits, I had honestly lost faith that there were still people in healthcare who genuinely cared for their patients and their families. Lund Home completely changed that for me. From every single nurse who cared for my mom and treated our family like their own, to the incredible doctor who showed us true empathy, honesty, compassion, and integrity, the level of care was beyond anything I could have hoped for during such an incredibly difficult time. The Hospice of the Valley staff and case managers were just as amazing. They sat with me for hours, answered my questions, supported me through some of the hardest moments of my life, gave my dog treats, and even offered to stay with me for as long as I needed after my mom passed so I wouldn't have to be alone. That kind of care, compassion, and love is something I will never forget. During the worst days of my life, the people at Lund Home gave my mom dignity and gave our family comfort. They genuinely restored my faith in healthcare workers. I will forever be grateful to every person who cared for my mom and our family. Lund Home and Hospice of the Valley deserve far more than five stars.

Our concern is with the evaluation process. Despite our clear wishes for her to remain at Lund Home, the doctor and social worker decided to transfer her back to her memory care unit. The social worker even told us, "it wasn't her time to pass" and she had "2-4 weeks left." We begged and pleaded for her to stay in their care till her end of life. After being transported back to her memory care unit, that very night she declined, and she passed away the following morning. The doctor never returned our calls, and our concerns were completely disregarded. It was clear to us that Lund Home is run more like a business than an end-of-life care facility. While the nursing staff was wonderful, the decision-making and communication from the evaluation team were devastating and unacceptable. Families deserve honesty, respect, and compassion during such a difficult time, and we did not receive that here. We will never return to the Lund Home and strongly urge others to seek a different option for their loved ones.

Daily activities, such as household chores, showering, and other essential tasks, were challenging for me. I had never relied on anyone, particularly a stranger, and was understandably apprehensive about this situation. The business, Like Family Home Care, I was approached by the owner, Adam, who conducted an assessment of my home. He demonstrated exceptional attentiveness to my needs, which immediately impressed me. He was very experienced. I was subsequently assigned to five caregivers, with Kelsey being the most present. Kelsey is exceptionally caring and passionate about her work, prioritizing the well-being of her clients. She effectively assisted me with showering, dressing, mobility, and transfers. Kelsey gained valuable experience in cleaning and dressing my wound, as well as helping with my daily chores, including cooking, laundry, and cleaning my home. I highly recommend Kelsey. All the caregivers provided exceptional support throughout my recovery. Adam and Amber were particularly helpful in every situation. I wholeheartedly recommend their service to anyone in need of personal care assistance. I genuinely felt like part of a family during my time with them, and I was saddened to see them depart.

I'm so thankful we found Eden Estates for my Mom a year and a half ago. On our first visit my heart was overjoyed and at peace. When you can walk into a place that feels like home (always clean, very comfortable furniture, cozy bedrooms, beautiful decor) and smells like home (three delicious home cooked meals) you know it's a special place unlike any other elderly care facility you have ever been to before. The well trained, 24 hour staff, is top notch and truly loves and cares for the residents. They treat them like family, because at Eden that is what we truly are...a family! They accommodate your loved ones likes and interests, favorite movies, music, favorite foods, and even celebrate their Birthdays complete with decorations! Before COVID we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas together a few days before. We were able to bring our loved ones favorite traditional foods that remind them of home. This place is truly a home away from home. The medical care is exceptional. They work together with my Moms doctors and hospice nurse, always keeping me informed of the plan if anything changes. I know without a doubt that my mom is receiving the best care possible at Eden. Since COVID, Josh (the owner) took swift action to inform us that we are no longer allowed to visit in person. I know this wasn't what any of us wanted, but I am very grateful that his number one concern is the safety of the residents at Eden Estates and gladly abide. Because of this, all of our Eden family has remained safe and protected. He quickly set up an iPad so that residents can video chat with their families. I feel that he truly cares and has the residents best interest at heart. I have no words to adequately describe how grateful I am for Eden Estates and all of the staff working there each and every day. It has been such a blessing in my life. I told her what warrants emergency and destruction of personal property because the AC unit is leaking all over her kitchen floor they put a bucket down well if I wasn't here she could have fallen and really hurt herself I am never in all my stars for as much money as she needs to be treated and told this and be put on a waiting list when this is a very serious matter, especially and broke a should be ashamed of themselves in charging these people and treating them like this when they don't deserve this You are taking advantage of people like this. I could write about more than a couple of very negative experiences during this time but I will focus here on this past Sunday's Mother's Day brunch. The brunch itself was okay, the food was neither great but not bad, but when my mother wasn't able to finish her whole piece of salmon, I started putting it in a small container that she brought with her (they refuse to give a "to-go" container) when our server told us that we couldn't take it out! Excuse me! A mediocre brunch that we paid $24.00 a piece for and they would not let us take our half piece of salmon home! I don't blame our server as she is told what to do by management, but I feel that this just wrong and borderline abusive towards the elderly who are easily taken advantage of. Come on Robsons, please do better.
