Normally my reviews aren't this long, but the excessively painful experience warrants a lengthy retelling.
Much worse off after my visit. I had 2 sucsessful visits to a chiropractor in California, lessening the pain in my lower back, before I went to see Jason Sykes. My visit started with a bit of a struggle to get my socks off (It hurts to bend down!) and Jason saying sarcastically "How many pairs do you have on?"
We spoke about the pain, when it began and what might be the cause before he "treated" me. He did a few adjustments, then applied pressure to a few places, shoulders spine and neck. WOW! Despite saying how much it hurt and telling him on a scale of 1 to 10 he was pushing 10 he continued pressing. I went home feeling worse than when I arrived.
As the day went on the pain worsened and I had to cancel dinner plans as I couldn't get out of bed. I'm a baker and lost an entire weekend of work due to the pain Jason Sykes caused. When I spoke with Jason to cancel my next appointment I told him I was in a lot more pain in places I wasn't before I saw him and would be seeing a physio he said Sorry about that, I guess it was a lot for your first time.
He has even refused to release the xrays I paid for to my physio so she can assist me without sending me for more expensive xrays. My Husband called to request that he release my xrays as well and he rudely refused and said we could pay £30 for copies.
Jason responding "discomfort can make people feel upset, angry and say things they would not otherwise say" was insulting, but seems true to his character. read more
