Normally my reviews aren't this long, but the excessively painful experience warrants a lengthy…read moreretelling. Much worse off after my visit. I had 2 sucsessful visits to a chiropractor in California, lessening the pain in my lower back, before I went to see Jason Sykes. My visit started with a bit of a struggle to get my socks off (It hurts to bend down!) and Jason saying sarcastically "How many pairs do you have on?" We spoke about the pain, when it began and what might be the cause before he "treated" me. He did a few adjustments, then applied pressure to a few places, shoulders spine and neck. WOW! Despite saying how much it hurt and telling him on a scale of 1 to 10 he was pushing 10 he continued pressing. I went home feeling worse than when I arrived. As the day went on the pain worsened and I had to cancel dinner plans as I couldn't get out of bed. I'm a baker and lost an entire weekend of work due to the pain Jason Sykes caused. When I spoke with Jason to cancel my next appointment I told him I was in a lot more pain in places I wasn't before I saw him and would be seeing a physio he said Sorry about that, I guess it was a lot for your first time. He has even refused to release the xrays I paid for to my physio so she can assist me without sending me for more expensive xrays. My Husband called to request that he release my xrays as well and he rudely refused and said we could pay £30 for copies. Jason responding "discomfort can make people feel upset, angry and say things they would not otherwise say" was insulting, but seems true to his character.

A man walks in in front of me at 4.20 and I hear him saying that I should be seen first as there is a woman in pain. Sykes says no no you're fine Transpires that he had no appointment but as long standing and long paying patient can come in when he wants. Sykes then pretends he actually had an appointment when he didn't. Total disregard for me standing in agony for 35 minutes. I ask for my x rays back and he glares at me and says he finds me demanding. Sykes is unprofessional, abusive and I will be taking the matter up with his professional body. Avoid like plague.

No Stars - ZERO A DISGRACE TO THE FIELD OF HEALTHCARE…read more I cannot emphasize enough how utterly disastrous my experience with Chiropractic first has been. From start to finish, this has been an absolute nightmare that has left me in more pain than when I first sought their so-called "expertise." First and foremost, the inconsistency in personnel is beyond comprehension. The first chiropractor I saw was Chris Pim who gave me an x-ray and consultation costing £150 and convinced me I needed treatment for Maignes Syndrome and subluxation (lower back pain.) I foolishly parted with another £1,600 as he said it works out cheaper if you pay upfront for your upcoming treatment. He mysteriously disappeared after about a month, then I was passed onto his colleague Andrea Fois who also mysteriously disappeared after a couple of weeks, from then I felt like a pawn in their temp agency game, constantly being passed from one inexperienced temp to another. Each new face seemed less knowledgeable and more disinterested than the last. It was abundantly clear that my well-being was not their priority. The initial promise of relief from my chronic back pain quickly turned into a painful ordeal that made my situation exponentially worse. Instead of addressing my concerns and tailoring the treatment to my needs, they relied on a one-size-fits-all approach that left me barely able to walk. I trusted them to improve my condition, but all they did was exacerbate my pain. The last temp I saw was Lea Saintespes who finally saw that my pain was now becoming intolerable and wrote to my doctor recommending that they pause chiropractic care. To add insult to injury, I now have to take very strong painkillers that I never wanted to take in first place, I never wanted to rely on medication, and their failure to provide any meaningful relief forced me into a situation where I had no choice. It's both infuriating and disappointing that a healthcare professional would resort to masking symptoms rather than addressing the root cause. The breaking point came when I was coerced into shelling out a ridiculous £16000 for a treatment plan that was supposed to be my salvation. After being shown an X-ray that seemed more like a scare tactic than a legitimate diagnostic tool, I foolishly agreed to this exorbitant sum in the hope of finally finding relief. Little did I know that it would only lead to further agony. When the pain became unbearable and I had to discontinue the treatment prematurely, I expected some level of understanding and at least a partial refund for the services not rendered. However, Chiropractic's First true colours shone through as they callously refused to reimburse the money I was owed. It's disgraceful that they prioritize their profits over the well-being of their patients. In conclusion, my experience with Chiropractic First has been an unmitigated disaster. From the lack of consistency in staff to the ineffective and painful treatments, and the shameless exploitation of vulnerable patients, this establishment is a disgrace to the field of healthcare. Save yourself the misery and stay far away from Chiropractic First - they are more interested in your money than your health.

I tried many different therapies and nothing helped. On my first appointment, the chiropractor conducted a thorough examination which included a nerve scan, a muscle scan, stress scan, x-rays, posture pictures and more tests. I was surprised at how detailed the check up was. It gave a clear picture of why I was getting my symptoms. The doctor came up with a treatment plan and we started treatment. I feel so much better. My headaches are gone, my back feels stronger and my posture has improved. It has changed my life and my family's life. The best part was being able to track my progress with the scans and tests. My sleep has also improved and my energy has been better. I was pleased that the plans offered were cost effective. The front desk staff were extremely warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend to everyone out there.
