I'm still unclear whether or not I caused some trauma to it, or just sleeping on a craptastic bed for so many months had finally caught up with me. At any rate, I went about my everyday daily life, expecting that after a week or two I'd recover. Sadly, that didn't happen. In fact, a few -months- went by and my back was still bothering me. Some days were better; others... well... weren't. Enter: Graham Stones. At a recommendation from Larissa, and after seeing his Yelp ads on the site for awhile, I finally booked a physio session with him at the Light Centre. Upon my first visit, he asked some diagnostic questions before having me stand up. He placed his hand atop my head like you see the special religious people do before declaring, "You be healed!" He didn't actually say that, but somehow he was able to determine what my back needed and set to work pulverizing the pain. One session in (and many inappropriate grunts and moans from me as Graham unknotted my back), I was feeling much better. Three sessions later and a lot of self-care with the yoga poses Graham suggested, I was completely back to normal. Lemme tell you, not being in constant discomfort is priceless! The long and short of it is this: Graham Stones is the back whisperer. If you need a physio, look no further.

I've spent many an hour lying on Graham's massage table, whimpering and crying like a baby, as he managed to find the exact spot on my body wherein hellfire and brimstone furtively resided, waiting to be uncovered and unleashed onto the world with one poke of Graham's capable and unyielding ninja fingers. No, seriously, this man is THE BUSINESS, and I highly recommend him. He managed to cure my chronic shoulder pain over a course of treatments, and he was totally honest about the fact that he didn't WANT me to be a habitual customer. Sure, it might be better for him monetarily if I came in every week, week-on-week, indefinitely, but once I got to feeling better, that was the end of our masochistic relationship. That is, until many months later when the hellfire returned elsewhere in my body, hiding this time somewhere in the nether regions of my hips. I knew what needed to be done... I have an appointment with Graham later in the week during which I have no doubt he will be as brutal and satisfying a massage professional as ever. As is the case with the Massage Centre. Booking was easy. I popped in one day and was able to get an appointment soon - the next day if I wanted. The space is clean and relaxing unlike other spas in the area (South Beach, Luminis (fka Dove Spa)) where the spa is loud and hectic and, god for bid, the therapy rooms are located below street-level and the constant creaking of floor boards completely ruins any therapy you are paying your hard earned cash for. My therapist was knowledgeable, used appropriate pressure, and provided me with stretching techniques to help reduce the stiffness and tension in my upper back. So, all of this was great. The other great thing about my therapist was that she did not pressure me to book massages every two weeks or even every month. She had a brain on her shoulders and understands how expensive a two-week massage regimen wold be. I mean, wouldn't we all get massages every two weeks if we could afford it? I bet Kim Kardashian gets a massage daily but you know what? I'm not Kim Kardashian. I'm just a normal person with bad posture from banging away on the computer writing Yelp reviews all damn day. Nothing ruins a relaxing experience more than being made to feel bad about not treating your body awesomely by getting massages every two weeks. What is great about the session is that the majority of people there are athletes in some form or other. This keeps the sessions intense, engaging and you are pushed to the limit. Whether Jon is leading the group or we are all adding to the circuit, not a single class has let me down. It really doesn't matter if you are a martial artist, power lifter or gymnast, the way the sessions go means everyone can take something from it. For a truly inspiring workout, in a great studio that has EVERYTHING you need to push beyond what you thought you could, you have to try out Balance. Oh I should mention, the Industrial Strength class costs an incredible £3. Wow!

One of the receptionists at Earl's court named Bella is rude .she talking to her colleague while I was talking with her ! I contacted Headoffice who promised better customer service and professionalism however ,this person continued to be rude . I called to book massage and enquired to use one of the vouchers they provide to loyal customs but she laughed ! I was very offended from such rude and unprofessional behavior .  My understanding is that you offer the vouchers to your loyal customer when they purchase package to use them and I never used any of the 5 vouchers ,so anyone would expect from a presumable professional salon to deal with  customers in a respectful ,decent and professional manner ,rather than such disgusting and offensive behavior ! I contacted the head office again about this person's rude and unprofessional behavior but no acknowledgement or apology !!! They used to be good 10 years ago but obviously they fell very short of the required professional and ethical standards !
