Dr. J gives a very soft/light adjustment that just doesn't feel the same for me. 4) Being this is a clinic where they treat people that may not feel well or have migraines etc, I'm surprised they allow the use of phones with sounds in the office waiting area. On my first visit a woman was listening to vulgar music that was loud enough for everyone in the waiting room and front office to hear. Coming in with a headache that's not something I want to hear or listen to. Also, if there were children present, it's really not appropriate. But there's no signs or indications that people need to have their phone on silent. When I had asked the lady if she could turn it down, she just looked at me so I went to the front and asked to sit and wait in my car. There were multiple other times that people were either playing music or listening to reels or other things, and if the office just had a simple policy and they asked their patients to mute their phones it would make it better for all of their patients. I spoke to two of the doctors about this and one doctor completely agreed there should be a policy like this in place because people come for treatment with migraines and pain but the other doctor said no they don't want to inconvenience their patients makes me feel like they aren't being considerate for all their patients, especially those that are in pain. As such I'm increasing my rating because the doctors and staff and treatment are great but will not give a 5 because of the disregard to ensuring all patients, even those in pain and suffering migraines can wait for their treatment without further discomfort.

I went to the website and looked and read everything. However it did not work out that way . I ended up having to pay 150.00 out of pocket FIRST VISIT just so my insurance can be legit and verified that I am not HMO well at least that's what the nice lady on my first visit told me. I didn't make a big deal due to thats probably how they do things there. however that was not communicated to me via phone when making my appointment as well as what is stated on their website. (Misguided and falsely advertised) 2nd visit came around same week and a different receptionist told me otherwise. She printed out some typed out guidelines stating "blue cross of California and not blue cross blue shield". Kept telling me to read it, but all I wanted was some clarity and understanding on how they are billing me. The guideline paper did NOT state or answer any of my questions I wanted to ask. Also, it's clear that they do not look over the patients chart because she asked me what my co pay was and she has a blown up photo copy of my insurance card sitting right in front of her. On top of it saying PPO and not HMO. Lol, I nicely told her what it was anyway, (10.00) and she rudely commented that NO, its more then that". Lady how are u going to tell ME what my amount is when clearly you can't even read the proof of insurance that's right in-front of you? This is not my first rodeo with the chiropractors and the doctors etc. I'm sure I know what my copay is. SECONDLY, I came in early to discuss how I will be billed meaning my (insurance) due to the 1st time charge of 150.00. (Which I would be reimbursed by them if my insurance covers them per conversation with the 1st receptionist/nurse of my visit) If I have insurance why would I want to pay for a service that is covered through my network? Common sense- I left and cancelled my business. she then told me she will contact me once she gets in contact with my insurance. I left and sat in their parking lot and pretty much just did her job for her. 10 minutes later with answers ...I called and verified the coverage "with Blue Shield of California" and sure enough I was 100% with-in network and covered.
