Such a great experience, the staff were wonderful , the nail colour selection was great and the…read moreplace was beautiful, clean and very zen. It really felt like a spa when you were there. One of the best parts was the hot towel they provide you when you get either a mani or pedi done. I would highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be returning. - $15 for Regular Manicure - $30 for Shellac Manicure - $29 for Pedicure

I'm so disappointed because I wanted this place to be my "go to" now that I'm in Pickering. The…read moreambiance is lovely, it's clean, organized etc. I went 3x since September for manis & pedis, but have constantly had issues. My nails fall off (as you can see in the photo). The first time it happened it was one nail and only a week and a half since the appt. I went to get it fixed and they charged me $7 for a new nail (I call that out because they don't do fixes for free). The second time it was 3 nails so I complained and they did them for free. The third time I had 2 nails pop off within 4 to 5 days after my appointment. I didn't bother going back! I went to a new place today and was told that it's because the person who was doing them is doing them super super THICK that it leads to the whole nail popping off. Makes sense as I've never ever had these issues in the past 5ish years since I turned to gel. Such a shame because it's lovely inside and does have a soft soothing vibe. So mad :(

Beyond disappointed in my experience and will NEVER return. After reading reviews online and having…read morea wonderful conversation with the receptionist I was more than excited about my manicure. This by NO means was a manicure. It was a very poor polish application at best. Not a single cream or lotion was applied to my hands, no massage, no special treatment whatsoever. After explaining I had grown out my nails and would like them filed slightly, my manicurist proceeded to CUT my nails and nail length was COMPLETELY cut off. I mean.. there is nothing feminin about my nails anymore. All length is GONE. The polish, which is a powder based application looks very sloppy and THICK. So far above my nails and so far from my cuiticles it looks ridiculous and grown out. Not to mention uneven and not smooth at all. I am quite honestly heartbroken. I rarely get my nails done and was so excited to have them done for an event I have tomorrow. Now I am left embarrassed to show my hands. The receptionist was incredibly kind and did not charge me when I expressed my upset. I am just confused after all of the glowing reviews of service, when quite honestly my nails looked better with the chipping clear polish I had on when I walked in their door.

I have nagging shoulder issues from too much sitting at the computer. I had a few massages to try…read moreand help with my rehab of the problem but I wasn't really feeling results until I had a session at Massage Addict. I was able to make my initial appointment online very easily. I was able to pick the date and time I wanted, as well as the therapist. I left the therapist part open since I wasn't familiar with any of them. The owner of the store, Peter, actually called me before hand to confirm my appointment. Near the end of the year, they get very busy so he wanted to confirm the day before as they may have a waitlist. It was a super busy day for me so I wasn't able to respond until after the time stated on the deadline there but he made an exception for me which I was really grateful for. Peter was working at the front desk when I got there for my appointment. He let me know that normally they have comfy chairs and water out front for everyone but because of the pandemic they wanted to limit the amount of people in the lounge. My therapist for the appointment was Greg and he was amazing! I let him know about my concerns and that's where most of the focus was during my 50 minute appointment. I was asked about the pressure and he didn't go easy on me which was amazing. I feel like in the past some erred on the side of not hurting me but I realllly needed to be unknotted. I was a little tender after the massage but the pain was gone! I could move my neck without any twinging. It was so amazing! With respect to check out, if you have insurance, they can do direct billing for you. There is a separate form to fill out if your provider does that. The invoice that is printed has the RMT name and license number on it so if you submit by yourself, that might be enough. Peter also let me know that there is a membership that you can get at massage addict. The member price is the same as the intro price and you have to "commit" to doing a massage a month. He said that if something comes up and you miss a month, you just have to make it up by doing 2 the next month for example. I'm really happy with my visit here. My next appointments will be here for sure.

Front desk was great, RMT was not professional or good. Left feeling sore, not relaxedread more
