Something was off about the ceviche, perhaps it spoiled quickly as my drive back home was an hour, i unfortunately had to throw it away because it did not taste edible. Service is quite friendly, and quick. I'd come give it a second try for the ceviche, maybe it was not the freshest batch or my commute was too long but I don't think food spoils that rapidly. Either way I definitely recommend the rotisserie chicken with the sides!

Rarely have I had spice that made tears stream down my face. I've never had spice that made my ears plug up, too. But again: still delicious. If you choose this choice, just understand that the Ear-Nose-Throat and gastrointestinal consequences will be Biblical. I got spoiled having this chicken growing up in LA that when I moved to Ventura I missed it. While I wait for our new location in the 805 to open, you'll catch me continuing to come here. This location is an old school staple and while it's not the newest of Jollibees, it's an old reliable. My pro tips for braving this location are always to come early. While they have a parking lot it fills up pretty quickly and the parking spaces are tight. Be warned. But for chicken, I'm willing to risk a ding to my car. They have kiosks here for ordering but they aren't my favorite. Most of the time only 1-2 of them work and the other screen buffers forever. It's a nice option in theory, but holds up the line. I still opt to go to the cashier which is so much easier for ordering and the gals are always super nice and helpful behind the counter. What I also appreciate about this location is they have a good amount of dining space. You just have to look/know to turn the corner to their more private dining tables in the back. But again, I come pre lunch rush so it always works out. If this is your first time here, these are some of my staple must orders: Chicken bucket - half original and half spicy. I can't usually hang with spicy but their spicy fried chicken here is just too good to pass up (have extra water handy lol). Mashed potatoes and adobo rice are my favorite simple sides. And don't forget, you must dunk your chicken into the side of gravy, it's a non negotiable. To drink the pineapple quencher is 10/10. But I also like their seasonal drinks and the guava is a close second. Don't skip the mango peach pie either. It'll explode all over you while you eat it, but so worth it. Pro tip: come asap to try their newer breakfast bites. Their longanisa breakfast sausage sandwich is pretty darn good. Only for a limited time too.

Not sure if they're being timed for how quickly food is being prepared and handed to customers, but when I used to work in fast food in my teens in a McDonald's drive thru, we were being tracked on how quickly we were helping our customers and serving them. Our managers kept yelling at us to hit the "serve" button. The screen showed that food was ready for pick up and we asked the worker if it was and she said it wasn't. We waited an additional 10 minutes and it was finally ready for us to eat. Upon picking up the coffee, it seemed light so when I went to our table, I opened the lid and sure enough, the coffee cup was half filled. Onto the food. . . the Chicken and Waffles breakfast sandwich was tasty, but the waffle needed to be softer. Imagine biting into a crunchy over-toasted bread. It was too crunchy for my liking. The longanisa sandwich was a lot better and flavorful. My daughter ended up putting the fried chicken from waffle sandwich and used the pandesal bun from the longanisa sandwich.
