The one thing I cannot say exactly was how much we paid for the room because out of the thousands…read moreof hotels that have stayed at and reviewed throughout my entire Yelp career, this room felt like a above average budget hotel. We enjoyed it there was a balcony outside but that balcony rail is absolutely loose it seems like a liability waiting to happen. There's plenty of tourists here and a lot of people will act like they forgot how to park or they expect top notch privilege which will make going up to the front desk a giant pain upon arrive . If you see a parking spot near the front just take it and walk in and check in . Some of the amenities are pretty cool but I do feel like this place was a bit overrated for the time being. This place felt very outdated as well but this place can be pretty much dead at certain times of the year. The breakfast here is solid but it is absolutely expensive if you go for the Continental package. They charged me $54 and it wasn't even all that good it's probably worth $30 at best. If I knew it was going to be that expensive and underwhelming I would have walked to the gas station and probably paid $10. I will say that there are Lobby shines bright and so does their bar. Whenever there's a party going on usually there's a lot of life going on over here. If you're going to go anywhere and not drive , I recommend taking an Uber and not a Lyft because the price difference is huge. For an expensive stay, I will lean that this place was a 2.75 star experience. So I will leave it at three stars.

Make some investment in your cleaning and capital infrastructure. This place is pretty dingy. I…read moreget it: location, location. Boy, do they take advantage of that and priced way too high for what it is. Rooms were out of an old Howard Johnson's painted over. Soft, old mattresses. Not clean - there was blood on comforter. Front desk said it was rust from an iron - BS. I get water problems but that's because you aren't doing regular maintenance. This probably was a great place long ago, no longer. I suggest you stay somewhere else.

Unfortunately we weren't seated outside because it was full and we were hungry so we accepted being seated The service was great our server was very attentive to us . The place is super nice family friendly and like I said it's right in front of the lake which is super nice . The food was actually really great. I'm not a ribs person but that's one of their specialty it's really tender and super tasty. They had like a charcoal chicken it was half the chicken this was super tender and it was cooked so well. I will definitely come back to this place when I'm in the area. Happy eating!

Outside a band was playing, people were enjoying cocktails or food, and kids were frolicking in the water or the sand. The ribs were very good and my friends raved about the fresh-caught walleye. Sadly we' had no room for desert. Very crowded on weekends and parking is a nightmare - we were near 1/2 mile down the road as there are No Mars Parking signs fronted on the lawns of residents. Can't blame them as this place is, as they say, an absolute gold mine. Located about 4 miles from Lake Geneva do include it in your plan; you'll be sorry if you don't!

We thought that all three were on the actual golf course property. We ended up staying at the lodge. And when it says base for adventure, it is just base. It's a hotel room with a fancy name. Our room had 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper, for a 3 1/2 day "resort" stay, no hand soap, and for two of us 1 ounce of shampoo and 1 ounce of body wash, PLUS NO t.v. Remote anywhere. When I went to the front desk to let them know, they told me they would bring me a TV remote the next day. That was unacceptable. I said you have 20 minutes. And they did bring one within 20 minutes. Yes you can call room service to have them bring you more shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, but shouldn't it already be there? The front desk was extremely accommodating but why do I have to ask ?? For the price we payed for the Stay & Play golf outing, we've stayed at BestWesterns that were much more accommodating & clean. Our bathroom wall had toothpaste splatter ???? Needless to say, we won't be back. On a more positive note the golf course crew was absolutely amazing! But I'm not traveling 8 hours to sleep in a "hotel room" at a facility that is labeled as a resort.
