I have contacted the State of Wisconsin Consumer Protection Department. I told them that I'd…read morecomplained multiple times to Sport Rider of an oil consumption issue with the bike before the warranty ran out. I explained that they had no interest in helping me so I contacted Triumph of North America. Triumph NA was eager to help me but insisted that they speak to Sport Rider first. Sport Rider (predictably) told them I never complained on any issues during my warranty period. This was a lie! Because of this Triumph refused to honor my warranty. Think about it, would Sport Rider really tell Triumph NA: "Yeah, he was in here bitchin' about oil consumption but we told him to go pound sand."...........Obviously not! So what did Sport Rider tell the State of Wisconsin? They told them that they didn't honor my warranty because I didn't have a service history. There are three BIG problems with that. 1. I DO have a full service history. From new. I have EVERY receipt for every filter, every nut, bolt and shim. I changed oil on time. I changed every tire. I shimmed the valves. I documented the whole thing! FROM NEW! 2. My warranty wasn't from Sport Rider! It was from Triumph Motorcycles. I bought the motorcycle NEW. It came with a two year, unlimited mileage warranty FROM TRIUMPH! It was never their warranty to void! Sport Rider doesn't build motorcycles! 3. The Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act says I can self-service without it voiding my warranty. Too bad they never told Triumph I had an issue. A member of Sport Rider slapped a restraining order on me in an attempt to silence me. This is a cowardly bullying tactic. I cannot name the person....but if I could it would be "shitweasel". Buyer beware. I will be taking legal action against these dirtbags.

Being the first to review this dealer makes me a bit uneasy but here it goes. I purchased a brand…read morenew motorcycle from Sport Rider in the early months of 2015. I had several thousand dollars of extras put on at the dealership as well so out the door my grand total was $15k. That aside, the day I went to pick up my bike there it sits in all its glory......outdoors....where any Tom dick and Harry could sit on it and scuff it up. I waited around for a good 30-45min before someone helped me. During that time all the stock parts that were from my bike I had to load up myself....which whatever not the biggest concern of my life. Finally Adam (finance guy, and I think owner) comes and greets me. He gets the bike down to the driveway and as fast as he had greeted me he is saying his goodbyes. Now I am not an newbie by any means but I still expected some quick overview of my new bike. So off I went for a quick ride before I trailered it home. Upon my ride my not so cheap tire pressure monitoring system was not working. So I immediately called and made it known that it was not on. Adam said he would get back to me. This was a Saturday. So in the mean time I get the bike home and washed up since of course it rained on the trip back. Monday rolls around and I have to call Adam. He apologizes for forgetting about me and that when I bring it in for service they will turn it on. So it is March so not getting much riding in so just admiring it in the garage and I notice that one of the mirrors has a nice scratch down to the aluminum and one of the Allen bolts for the brake caliper is marred as if someone used too small of an Allen wrench and started to twist it leaving a sharp nasty looking end on it. I make note of it and further look over the bike. April hits and I'm all out riding. Enjoying the bike. I get my 500 miles in and call up to get my break in oil change and check over done. I bring up the issues I found and tell them id like them fixed. Drop of the bike and a few days later I come to pick it up. They replaced the mirror and changed the bolt but told me they normally wouldn't cause they don't know if I had done it. Cause ya.....I wanna make my own bike crap. So oil change mirror and bolt replace, tpms turned on. Ok bikes done and I'm home with the bike again. Another month or so goes by and no call or anything as to how I'm enjoying my bike or anything they can help me with. Which whatever....I'm not their only customer. I get to 900 miles on the bike and during a cleaning I notice slices in the tire on the edge in several spots. I take pictures and send them to Adam and ask his opinion as these slices are deep into the carcass and up to 2 inches long. He messages me back that if it holds air to just ride it. Feeling very unsatisfied with that answer I contact metzler myself and send them the photos. They ask me to replace the tire and send it to them so they can inspect and see if it can be warrantied. A few weeks after I sent out the tire I called and asked how the inspection was and metzler stated I will be receiving a refund due to the tire being defective. I asked what the defect was and the man stated it was cold cracking and could result in a catastrophic failure of the tire. So after that bit of information i was furious but glad that I went with my gut and seemed out help on my own. So after all that my review boils down to that my personal experience with Sport Rider and Adam has left me with bitter feelings toward them. Maybe I was a fluke and they have great customer service. But a fluke or not......I will never spend my hard earned money at that establishment again nor will I ever recommend it to someone.
