This Chipotle used to be my favorite location, but recently I've had two concerning experiences. The first incident occurred last month, when my dad found a piece of plastic in his bowl from an online order. More recently, when I picked up my own online order this past Friday, I got home expecting a veggie bowl but instead found chicken in it. These two incidents occurred within a month of each other and are very concerning. I have already reached out to customer service regarding these issues, but given that plastic was found in a bowl, I believe this location may need an inspection. read more

Disappointed because they gave us the smallest portions compared to all the other metro Chipotle locations I've been to. Our burrito bowl was mostly lettuce, and our chicken burrito was the skinniest Chipotle burrito I've ever seen. Service and Ambiance was standard for a Chipotle visit, and the burrito flavors were good. I liked that my food was ready in just 10 minutes after I submitted the mobile order. We just wished we received more food. read more

I think I am done with Chipotle. We ate at the Vadnais location recently on a Friday night. Luckily, and to my surprise, there wasn't much of a line. I saw a worker cleaning off tables as we came in which I thought was a good sign. It's probably been over a year since I have eaten at a Chipotle. In the past the service has been terrible, restaurants were dirty and the food was meh? I see that things haven't changed. No one said hello or smiled at us the entire time we were ordering. It's like we were a bother to them. The peppers and onions looked like they'd been sitting there since the am shift. My wife ordered barbacoa. There was barely any left. They plopped what there was into her bowl and slid it on down to the next server. Same experience. "Could I have just a little sour cream, please?" Plop. A giant, industrial-sized spoonful gets dumped in the bowl. We ordered guac and chips. The chips were under cooked to the point that you could literally bend them. Chewing them was nearly impossible. No problem. Well just have them give us a new bag. Next bag: same limp chips. Gross. The best part of our meal were the fountain drinks. I guess it's hard to screw up a self-serve Diet Coke (but not impossible). At least they didn't ask for a tip. Goodbye Chipotle. read more

Chipotle continues to disappoint. The counters were filthy and covered with food. Cross contamination between the food was apparent and the handling of food was careless. Before they prepared my food, the person preparing food wiped the counter down with their hand I asked them to change their gloves before making my food and they proceeded to put my burrito with disdain beyond words . This is my last time ever giving chipotle a dime of my money . 0 stars if possible . read more

i straight up created a yelp account just to leave this review. i'm not going to lie this is the absolute worst chipotle location ive ever been to and it's not even close. i work in customer service and have for a decade so im not trying to be a karen but bro. i've been going to this location for over a year since i work near it now, and i am not exaggerating whatsoever when i say that there is always. something. wrong. they're out of something, the ice machine is broken, the soda fountain just spits out water, the portions are very bad, and the tables are always full of food and trash. the most insane thing tho is that they don't open on time. they do not unlock the doors. they sit inside, within view to the people outside, and eat and sit on their phones while everyone is confused as to why they can't get in. this has happened multiple times to me now, and every time it's been 20+ minutes after they were supposed to open. sometimes someone will make it in and then they will have to hold open or open the doors for other customers because the employees deadasss don't care at all. they see you trying to get in and they look back at their phone and no one says a word. it's so wild bro i've never seen anything like it. i also just can't believe it's been this way for so long, like how has the GM not done something? been fired? like i don't get it. anyway, novel over. avoid this one. read more

This location is straight TRASH! ALWAYS out of lettuce or mild. Like none on site out. Don't even get half a scoop of rice and get attitude when asking for more... more guacamole than rice. happy to go to white bear ave from now on. read more

I found a piece of plastic in my burrito bowl and the staff acted like they wanted to leave. Would give zero stars if I could...

First of all they had no corn salsa, had one person working up front. Tables were dirty, both trashes were filled to the brim, my rice is cold, my friend had a bug in her lettuce, there's no napkins. Whoever the ginger guy w glasses is has no customer service skills & im not afraid to say it. Literally the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. read more

We have never had a Chipotle trip take so long and have so many mess ups. This Chipotle had us wait 15 minutes to get any rice because they were out of the rice, then they had no change when we got to the cash register, on top of that our quesadillas were not melted, they were just a tortilla with cheese,in addition they had to bag our chips fast because they had none prepared. read more

I ordered a burrito from here to go and service was very quick. My burrito was good and I had a side of chips and guacamole to go with it. Ordering in the app helped not wait in line for a white since it was packed. read more

Worst ran fast food restaurant I've ever been to. Always out of certain meats and give terrible terrible portion. The service is not great either with rude workers as well. Not sure how this place is still in business to be hones. The mangers of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves. read more

In competition with the stillwater chipotle for the worst one in the franchise. Constantly missing ingredients, sodas mixed so bad you wonder if you are drinking paint thinner, and employees that would rather strangle a cat than do their job. The only reason they get any customers at all is because it's the fastest fast food place in the area. My genuine advice from the bottom of my heart would be to find literally any other chipotle and save yourself the awful experience. read more

The food was meh, I had very small portions. Compared to the many other chipotles I have tried, this just does not compare. The service was good. The vibe was chill. I am not impressed. read more

Put in an online order at 5:15. App said it would be ready for pickup at 5:30. It is 5:51 and they still haven't started making it. When we voiced concern they shrugged shoulders and blew us off. Boy has their service gone downhill. read more

Just after noon and they are out of Honey Chicken that they have been promoting. No estimated g time - just out. Customer service apologize but won't stand behind their poor service. read more

This is the worst chipotle location I have ever been to. The employees are rude and give no customer service whatsoever. The manager needs to be replaced, he was trying to argue that I had to pay extra for guacamole with a VEGGIE meal, which all come with guac for free. This place needs to be cleaned up and get all new staff. None of them are good. Ended up throwing two full meals away even after paying because they tasted terrible. Every time I come here I say never again, and unfortunately when I do it's even worse every time. Online orders are always extremely late, they watch you sit and wait for about 5 minutes before they approach and ask your name in a bitchy manner. After they take your name it'll be able 10 more minutes before you see your meal! read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Paid $23 for garbage tasting food. Threw it all away. - Mexican Near Me - Vadnais Heights, Minnesota

Walked in at 5:55 pm on a Tues., only 3 customers ahead of me. Placed order for 3 items with chicken. There was chicken for first two item, but not for the third. I was informed i would be at least a 15 minute wait because they had none prepped. A worker at the counter had to the refrigerator for chicken to start cooking. I asked if they would be willing to include guac chip at no charge to compensate for the wait, but they refused. Upon further inspection I realized they had no guacamole or chips available either. Worst excuse for restaurant management and customer service I have ever seen. Definitely stay away from the Vadnais Heights location unless you have a lot to kill. It turned into a 20 minute wait!! read more

This is the worst chipotle I've ever been to!! 7 employees messing around in back but there's a sign on the front door that says online only. Not a great Chipotle. I went in to order rather than doing delivery. Food was hot and portion was large, but that's the extent of the plus side. Food was bland compared to most locations. Like they don't use salt here. I was going to get sour cream, but their sour cream was full of corn. I got corn so it wouldn't be a big deal, it was just off putting to see that, and who knows what else is in there? They weren't busy at all but I stood there for an age waiting to pay because the person before me asked for chips that they had to go in the back to get. It was noon on a weekday too, so they're kind of unprepared for a lunch rush if they had one. My biggest issue with the place is the blandness of the food. Just totally meh. There are better chipotles around. read more

Came in 5/9/23 around 8:30 pm and it was a great experience! From the beginning the manager engaged with me from the kitchen and encouraged me to sample some limited meats that were in. After disappointing experiences at most chipotles nowadays this was actually refreshing and it was indeed tasty. S/O to the MOD! A simple conversation can change a experience. read more

Don't place an online order from place. Placed order at 11:45 and expected it to be done at 12:10. In reality it was not done until 1:00. I was in the store by 12:30 and it was not done. Watched them make my shit and they made it wrong and gave me a bowl was not mines. They didn't even remake it. The persons where shit as well little too no rice and meat. So dirty! This is the dirtiest Chipotle I've been to. Counter, tables, floors, bathrooms. It grossed me out and made it hard to eat. My daughter found a bone in her chicken and a lady prepping food near the grill wasn't wearing gloves. Dear Management: Clean your restaurant! My beloved and I stopped in last night for a couple of burritos. First of all, it as later, and this place was busy, so busy it wasn't possible to find a seat. This is a very tiny restaurant. Secondly, even if we had wanted a seat, I would have declined. There were chips strewn across the floor, straw papers, and other garbage everywhere. I've never been in such a dirty restaurant. Do your employees bring out a broom and clean the place throughout the day? It certainly did not appear so. The restaurant had the appearance of not having been cleaned all day long. This does not add to the ambience, and it certainly makes you question how healthy your food is. Chipotle also needs to get rid of the corrugated steel and metal look of their restaurants. What perhaps was once modern, not just looks dated and cold. It doesn't create for a warm environment where you want to sit and enjoy a conversation over a burrito bowl. My carne asada burrito was so-so. The meat seemed grisly and a bit tough. With my bites, long pieces of meat came out of the burrito, and I had to gnaw through the meat to consume it. Our entire experience was unpleasant. I can't imagine returning to this location. read more
