I've been to several chipotle's but this one got 5 stars. It looked like it was a new location, very clean. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and was able to order right away. She made my burrito as requested and didn't hesitate to add a little bit more rice when I asked. This is a plus because I feel like anytime I ask for a little more or to add less of something, they act disturbed. I decided to eat there because I was famished. This place can be a hit or miss depending on the person scooping the food and the cleanliness off the restaurant. I will say every time I come to this location there is always a dirty table or stuff on the ground. I dislike how there's only one toilet for the whole place. I won't sit and eat here due to these reasons. I've been skimped on food before but I told them the next time and they were kind and accommodating. Anytime you want extra anything you can always ask for sides and they usually don't charge. They can do better with their burrito arrangements by spreading the scoops out more on the tortillas so it's not clumps of bites of ingredients and more a little of everything with each bite. I usually remind them! I don't do ordered ahead online pick up bc I get more food ordering inside I've found. The employees are usually really kind to me but they can be a little more proactive on cleaning the dining room, maybe greeting the people eating. read more

Joseph is a manager everyone should learn from! today we ordered food to be delivered.... my order was very disappointing. I ordered a bowl with EXTRA meat and EXTRA veggies. I didn't receive extra meat and I did not receive any veggies at all. The bowl looked very skimpy and was not worth what I paid for. I also got a free guacamole with my points and that did not come either. The other bowl we had ordered did not have any veggies either. very upsetting! we went into the riverbank chipotle and asked for a manager. Joseph the manager went above and beyond to make everything right, not only did he remake my bowl. He let me keep the 1 they sent me and remade our other bowl as well. He then gave us a large guac with chips & two complimentary drinks. We were just in "aww" of his kindness and willingness to make it better. He was so friendly & caring. As we were walking out to the car, we were talking about service & came running out and said "here is for your time and for your Troubles" He also gave us a free entrée card. I walked in at 7:30pm on Father's Day. There was a family of 5 and one other person in front of me in line. It took 20+ minutes for the line worker to work his way up to me, meanwhile the manager and line cook were too busy gossiping and sharing a one person job to refill any of the stations or assist the line worker who was low/empty on everything. The to-go worker was fighting for his life having to take food off the main line. Shoutout to the line and to-go workers for doing their best. Absolutely terrible manager here. I'm pretty disappointed with this location. I went to grab a quick dinner tonight and am not too thrilled about it. It was kinda busy, so I understand how it can get when it's busy. I got the bowl with the new chicken el pastor, which was fine. I realized when I got home that I was charged for queso, which I did not add on. I should have checked the receipt while there but was in a rush, so that part is on me. When I started to eat, I felt something hard which threw me off. It looks like I got a part of the avacado seed in it, which I was not thrilled about at all. It also is pretty upsetting considering there is an extra charge to add avacado. i came to this location this evening and was very disappointed with the portions. i asked for white rice and black beans. the lady who served me gave me less than half scoop of each. i know chipotle has a policy of charging more if you ask for extra scoops. when it came to the beef, the container was empty and they were filling my bowl with the scraps. i heard the second server say "barbacoa at zero". i'm extremely upset that i was charged for a full bowl when i received a portion that wouldn't fill a child. i received more guac than i did meat, rice, and beans. i will not be returning to this location, i would rather drive the extra miles to another location. pictured below is the bowl read more

It seems like every single time I come to this location they are either short handed or are missing ingredients. I went yesterday to get my family some food and they were completely out of fajita vegetables. I am on a no carb diet and it was a big inconvenience to wait in such a long line, finally get to the front and then they said they were out. They didn't even offer to make some and have me wait on the side. And they have also charged my husband the wrong amounts on the bowls several times. He was charged almost $20 for one bowl. It makes no sense but the staff seem to be changing their protocol every so often. I don't recommend this location. Also forgot to mention that they put the least amount possible of cheese for my toddler's quesadilla even though I asked for extra cheese and said I would pay for it. Have not been to a chipotle in years and was out of ideas for dinner. Ordered a bowl with brown rice (they were out of white rice), pinto beans, chicken, pico, corn, lettuce, and cheese. It could definitely use a bit more flavor/seasoning overall (not more salt), but it was ok. The workers were all very busy and working hard. It seemed as if they had a rush very recently, as they were out of a couple of items. No big deal plenty, to choose from. The only thing I might ask is that management reinforce glove use, or washing hands every time they leave and renter the food serving are. They were going back and forth from food to register to food with the same gloves on. Another burrito bowl review for from Chipotle. I am sure these types are plenty. However, it should be noted that during this particular visit customer service was poor. Staff were preoccupied while making orders which set back the line for redoing food orders. Aside from the stale tortilla chips, the food was fresh. We had to clean and wipe the table ourselves. Also had to move a used forks and food from underneath our table. I understand it is Fast food, but it is still a reasturant... Final update because we will never come back again. After a couple month hiatus, we decided to order ahead. Because of last experiences, we gave it plenty of time and showed up about 10 minutes after our quoted time. We still had to wait another 10 minutes so our order in total was 20 minutes after the quoted time, so it took a total of 30 minutes to get our food. There was one lady working the station who was moving so slow, I felt like jumping back there and helping out. I spoke with the manager about the wait. Her name was Chelsey and I don't think I've ever spoken to a rider manager. I told her that our food was late and her response? What do you want me to do about it. Like, really? We were craving some Chipotle and this location even though it's an hour from where we live, is the closest. We've been here a couple of times before and I have to say that this is by far, the worst location we have ever been to. They were out of so many of their basic food items, including most of the soft drinks. They also could only take exact change or credit cards. The restaurant was dirty. The brown rice was undercooked and slightly crunchy. They didn't even have any forks! I went back to the line to get a burrito to go and was told they had no rice. Yes, no rice. WTH. The owner / manager obviously doesn't care but Chipotle corporate should. Given the numerous other bad reviews, my experience was not the exception but the rule. Never again. I stopped in on a Monday afternoon for a quick lunch. The food and staff impressed me! The restaurant was very clean and well kept. The line was short when I arrived but picked up just as a sat down to eat. The team handled it very efficiently and nobody had to wait long at all. I had an Asada burrito with black beans, brown rice, and hot sauce. It was incredible and just what I was looking for. I found out that there is now a difference here between steak and asada. I tried both. They were both great but I prefer the added flavor of the Asada. Check them out but I can't imagine you will be upset either way. On my way out I noticed they have a sorted garbage. The kind designed to encourage customers to sort their waste by landfill, recycling, or compost. I appreciate that even if very few know how to use it correctly. read more

I worked at Chipotle for 2 years and I am shocked to see the practices that this store is using. I have never been so disgusted by a restaurant in my whole life. I could write an essay about how bad my experiences have been in this store, but just to name a few bad ones- -An employee put NEW rice on top of OLD rice on the line. I was so disgusted by this and his a huge violation of food safety protocol. -The line is ALWAYS filthy. Pieces of meat were all over the line, which is what caused the Ecoli breakout in the first place. If ecoli happens again, it will definitely be at this store. -On top of that I saw the woman in front of me get steak on her bowl, and a piece of steak fell right into the chicken. -My boyfriend had a large rip in his burrito and the employee just rolled it up and ignored it. When I worked at Chipotle, if I ripped a burrito I was taught to ask if they would like me to re roll it with a new tortilla- these people just don't care. -Many of the items on the line were old and should have been tossed out for fresh ingredients. For example, the rice was dry & looked hard (both of them!) and the sofritas looked rock solid. It makes me upset to see a restaurant I use to work at so run down and not cared for at all. They can do so much better than this. If I go to Chipotle again, I'm driving farther for the Modesto location. read more

We tried giving this location a second chance after they screwed up our to go order but this was the final straw. Our to go order was messed up, again. We had 4 meals. One of our kids meal was missing the fruits & the juice box. Another kids meal was missing the chips & cup for the fountain drink. Our adult meal was missing the main damn ingredient, THE PROTEIN (sofritas), the brown rice was still crunchy & there was a strand of hair in the bowl!
