WORST SERVICE EVER We had a $265 catering order scheduled for pickup at 2:00 PM for a party we were hosting for about 30 people, and the experience we had at this location was honestly unbelievable. We arrived at 1:56 PM, expecting our pre-scheduled catering order to be ready or at least close to ready. Instead, we were told to come back to the register at 2:00 PM for an estimated time on the order. When we returned at 2:00 PM as instructed, the employee at the register told us "we have way too many orders in front of you, it's going to be a long time." We explained that this was not just a regular online order, but a catering order that had been scheduled days ahead of time specifically for that pickup time. His response was that they were just "too busy and wouldn't have time to make the order or give an estimate" At that point we asked to speak to a manager, and we were told that that RILEY DALLMAN was refusing to come out and speak with us and would not address the situation. Delays can happen anywhere, and most people understand that. What's unacceptable is the complete lack of professionalism and accountability. If the RILEY the manager had simply come out, explained the situation, and given us a realistic timeline, we would have been far more understanding. Instead, we were left standing there with no answers about our $265 catering order, no apology, and a manager who wouldn't even come speak with customers. Because of this, we had to scramble at the last minute to find food for 30 people for a party that was already starting. It was stressful, embarrassing, and completely avoidable. For a company the size of Chipotle Mexican Grill, the level of customer service we experienced here was shocking. A manager refusing to speak to customers about a large catering order is unacceptable. Hopefully corporate addresses how this location handles catering orders and customer concerns, because this experience was incredibly disappointing. This chipotle is always shi-potle and I should've expected they'd mess up. Having to spend $381 at Kroger to get food for people and cook last minute for a party was all thanks to Chipotle. read more

Myself and some family members went here on a Friday for lunch, dine in. They were very busy. Seemed clean for the most part inside and in the bathroom. Well stocked and trash wasn't full. Order line moved pretty well as they appeared fully staffed. Check out guy wasn't very friendly, but maybe he had a bad day. Food was good. Guacamole looked pretty bruised and chunky so they need to blend it smoother to hide the bruises since the look and texture of grey is a bit off putting. Lettuce was also underchopped, I had a whole end part of the head in mine. The chimichurri sauce isn't very good and is mostly an oil so probably not good for take out orders. The guys threw most of the cup away as it wasn't worth risking a spill. Also be warned you can apparently only use one reward code per transaction. Overall it was a decent outing. read more

Ordered online, pick up at 12:10. Got there are 12:15, order was STILL not ready until 12:30. Ordered extra toppings (corn, sour cream, and cheese), and to nobody's surprise there was hardly any toppings. Same as it ever was... Filthy line, out of most protein unless you count the bits that are floating in the queso. The only chips in-house are for take-out orders. The food is great, the store is clean- and the service is exceptional considering they only had one person working behind the glass while I was in for my burrito bowl. There wasn't much I could do but tell her that she was doing an amazing job despite tackling a line to the door of customers who weren't very friendly either. It is very dirty, staff does not clean off the counter when making your food. Dining areas are very dirty, trash is always full or overflowing. It seems to be the case at their restaurants in Mansfied and Heath locations as well. I do not understand how they have staff but they don't clean around the drink station, or anywhere?! CONSITENLY TERRIBLE SERVICE, WHETHER OR NOT THAT HAVE INGREDIENTS IN STORE. IF A NEGATIVE STAR WERE OFFERED, THIS LOCATION WOULD HAVE IT. My husband and I just popped in for a late lunch- to go. It appeared to be around a shift turnover time and there were over 10 employees visible. We were the only customers. The line was absolutely trashed and filthy, not at all restocked after the lunch rush. I managed a Taco Bell years ago in another state, and these troubles are not unknown to me. The manager was changing out the drawer, and even though my husband and I were directly in front of her, no eye contact or communication was made. Extremely poor customer service! The young lady dishing up chips behind the till was told by the manager that she was "Good to go". Even with a store full of employees, we stood at the checkout for at least a minute with no communication. The gal stocking chip bags that the manager signaled to be working the drawer, continued to avoid making the slightest eye contact. Another employee noticed that we were standing there & reluctantly told the female employee that she had customers waiting to check out. In a huff, she exasperated to him that she "wasn't on cash" and walked to the back...not making the slightest bit of communication. The young lad came and checked us out. We were verbally grateful and appreciative of his work ethic. To this, we received ZERO reply- he just handed us our receipt with a "Here ya' go". This is not the first time we have been patrons to this particular Chipotle, and it is not uncommon to receive woefully lacking customer service. They have improved as far as having ingredients on hand, and I highly suggest a ZERO tolerance for the attitudes. If staff numbers lack, pay those who actually provide a better wage. Zero star visit today! 35 minute wait. No communication about being out of items or we would have left. No veggies, no corn, and no pico! I asked the manager for free quac on one bowl for the lack of ingredients and was denied. Zero customer service except for the friendly employee putting the lids on our bowls who was apologizing profusely because he agreed it was ridiculous. To top it off our $3.25 large drink was warm root beer because they had no ice and the coke was out. Completely unacceptable and the manager wasn't concerned. My friend & I got our food to go and were hyping this specific location up on the way home compared to others. once we got into our food, our rice wasn't cooked and our chips were soaked in oil and were extremely stale. It didn't exactly add up with what was going on inside the store. the line was short and service was decent, but there was one employee who seemed more worried about the portion control rather than the quality of the food we were given. It took them a hour and forty five minutes to make my bowl, and they messed it up twice. I had to wait 35 minutes for steak, then the dude at the cashier was taking forever. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting on him to give me my receipt and chips. These people are incompetent that it actually hurts, they weren't clean. I watched someone drop a little yellow marker in the queso then pick it out and wipe the remainder in the metal bowl and throw the tag on the counter. The floor was horrible and the trash was over flowing, they weren't changing their gloves as often as they should. If a health inspector came in on surpise they would have been shut down. I've got to give it to Chipotle. We haven't been here for years and we have had our best experience that we've had at this particular Chipotle. Now, I'm a big guy and nothing (I'm keeping this PG) makes me more mad then to serve me as if you think I should be on a diet. In the past this is exactly what has happened. Just picked up a bowl and a bag of chips from this location and such a horrible experience. First off the rice in the bowl is still hard so that's gonna be a hard pass on that. Secondly the chips are either stale or not cooked right. Horrible horrible horrible. It's not Authentic, but no one expects it to be. Things that can be done better. 1. Heat tortilla up for more than 5 sec. 2. Get some real Salsa. 3. Chipotle in Mount Vernon has to be one of the most amazing restaurants I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the managers are always around to answer any questions you have. The staff working the line is always so attentive and ready to take your order as soon as possible. I will continue to come back to this chipotle and receive there amazing food and service. Hours change out of nowhere you can't even go in and get food. Manager refuses to order items on the menu such as lemons so they are permenantly unavailable. Chipotle is my favorite resturaunt. I think the workers are very kind and quite fast. I think that it is amazing that chipotle is fast food yet all the ingredients are fresh and made without chemicals. The workers are always so happy and smiling they love to talk and joke around. One of the guys here is extremely stingy with the guac. He let a little dribble off the end of the spoon and claims that is a normal serving. This place is just horrible. The workers are slow. I've been many chipotle restaurants and they are never this slow. They ignored the line for about 5 minutes. There were 6 people working and no one even acknowledged the customers standing in line. I can't tell you how many times I have been to this location and something similar to this has happened.
