Honestly, there is a possibility that this might be the worst chipotle on the planet. The food staff service and cleanliness of the restaurant is the most inconsistent I've ever seen for any chain restaurant. I will still frequent other Chipotle locations, but until further notice this one is canceled. Today was my third time at this location, walking out of line because the ingredients looked so gross and there were hardly any ingredients available. Somehow, I gave this place a chance because I was starving and it is the only location in the area near my home. Never again will I make that mistake? read more

Food was ok. There was hardly anything in the pans and it was very messy. The person serving me, didn't seem to be wanting to be there, when I asked if there was anymore rice as the pans were empty I was ignored . I ordered a chicken bowel, but had half a spoon of chicken in it , rest was covered with salad and sauce. It was a quiet place , with kids in there mostly . Sitting area was not cleaned. Finally this location has been shut down and in true "this management" fashion provided no information except temporarily closed. Like temporarily managed whenever the staff feels like it. I hope it gets ripped to the studs, bleached and redone but the staff and regional management could not care less. One walk from behind the counter with a wash cloth would help. If it doesn't open - RIP - you gave chipotle a bad name - if reopens I hope is a grand one with a wholesale change to the place. read more

This Chipotle really needs to be reconsidered for operation, for several reasons. First, the food quality is consistently poor. The preparation of proteins seems to be missing a key step compared to other locations. The chicken is always chewy, and the steak is rubbery--maybe I should try the carnitas might be decent. Second, the service is terrible. Almost everyone working here, except for one friendly Latina employee, seems miserable and clearly hates their job. That negativity makes the entire experience unpleasant. My husband is addicted to Diet Coke and so many times he has been to this location asking for a fountain drink and after paying, he goes to fill up his drink and the Diet Coke is out. And they don't do anything to fix it. Honestly, this location is doing a disservice to the Chipotle brand. Improvements are desperately needed. read more

Several things came up (okay fine- I was distracted ) and I didn't arrive at the Chipotle location until late in the evening. I definitely recommend reading the other reviews. When we came in the place had food everywhere (floors, dirty tables) the drink station with their lemonades was leaking I assume and just had a pile of napkins sitting on top of it. The staff had a couple friendly faces but it was very chaotic. I understand that they're trying to hurry and get orders pushed out but they were already asking which toppings I wanted before I even got to see what they had lol. The issue came when we got to the car though, that's where we discovered the bag had busted. We came back inside and the cashier was very kind, he apologized and said he would make us another one. A lady with long hair came up and she was the opposite. With a sarcastic tone she said "thanks for driving all the way back over here". We told her we weren't that far so it's ok. After he remade it he had trouble wrapping it. She looked at us and sarcastically said "You put liquid on it"? She took over and successfully wrapped it. After she puts it in the bag and sees my face of disappointment she asks if we want a drink or something else. I declined. Honestly if her attitude were better that would've been sufficient enough. Served RAW CHICKEN not a little undercooked I mean as if it didn't hit the grill at all. Dangerous as can be.

This is one of the times where you need to be sure to read and trust the reviews. Upon arrival, you got an immediate sense of the chaos taking place. The location was filthy (dirty floors, dirty drink stations, dirty tables, etc), the employees were running around everywhere, and there wasn't a good sense of customer service. The staff was overall friendly, but there were a few people who were rushing patrons to go through the line as they were building their entrees. Once we got through and checked out, the experience didn't end. As soon as we got to the car the burrito wrap busted open and the bag along with it. Thankfully it wasn't a big mess in the car. After realizing this, we returned back to replace it, and we were immediately gaslit. One staffer had a lot of sarcasm about the toppings we chose, hinting at it was our fault that the burrito wasn't wrapped and packaged properly. After realizing that we picked up on her tone, she offered a few free drinks. We didn't accept, nor were we looking to get anything free. We just wanted a clean and friendly experience, which is not what happened. Hopefully these reviews are considered when they are seen by management. read more

Was here 2 days ago 6-14-25. People working were friendly and attentive. Food was average for any Chipotle. The dining area was so dirty. Tables all had food scraps on them and had to clean off a table to sit down. Trash cans full and drink area was dirty with debris. The whole restaurant can use a deep cleaning. The Chipotle on Johnson Ferry Rd is the the worse restaurant I have ever visited. The customer service was the worse, with the most unprofessional employees I have ever experienced. Multiple food pans empty, and messy food counter. There was no urgency to serve the customers, considering at the time there were only 2. The server began preparing a customer's order and was informed by the customer that was not what she requested. The server/order taker returned the rice to the pan. Ugh! There were no veggies, no steak. The server informed the customer it will be 5-10 minutes before it would be ready. The customer said she woud wait. Instead of assisting the next customer in line, she proceeded to clean the grill. I asked her if she was going to wait on the next customer, or was there anyone else available to assist with the ordering. No response, as she continues to clean the grill. An employee comes to replenish the empty veggie pan, she did not acknowledge any customers. You would think she would have offered some assistance, it wasn't as if there was a long line (Just 2 customers). There were 5 employees that I could see, each performing various tasks, cutting meat, replenishing empty veggie pans, cleaning the grill, etc. But no one came to take orders. I asked the server again, if there was anyone else available to take orders. The employee that took the initial orders proceeded to tell me how busy it was earlier. I don't understand what that had to do with the present moment. Beat the heck out of me. As she continues to tell me how busy it was earlier, and how busy everyone is, I asked, "What kind of customer service is this? Customers should be a priority over tasks, and explaining the importance and value of good customer service. No response, just a confused expression. Now, while she is engaging me in conversation, with all the reasons the customer's order couldn't be taken and how busy they were earlier, she could have taken the order herself. She proceeded to tell me about an employee taking out the trash. That was it, taking out the trash couldn't wait, but the customer can. How important the trash must be. Only 2 customers. Time wasted for terrible service, no food. NEVER AGAIN will I frequent a Chipotle. I was warned and told numerous times, you don't want to eat at the Chipotle on Johnson Ferry because of the service. I just had to experience it for myself. Telling myself that it can't be that bad. Lesson learned. read more

Surprised to see lots of complaints about this location, but the Cumberland one is BY FAR the worst. There's just so much demand there and picking up online to go orders is a nightmare. Holy Salt Lick Batman! I have ordered from this location over 30 times and for some reason today, the chicken bowl I ordered was so salty, I had to abandon ship after a few bites. Two times (most recently yesterday) we've tried going to the store only to have a sign on the door stop us to say *"online orders only" and yesterday they also had no lettuce or hard shell tacos either. The store was very dirty too - many tables looked like they hadn't been wiped down, Other local chains in the area don't seem to have lettuce or taco shell shortages when we go....maybe it's Chipotles ordering or supply chain, but to not take in person orders when you have a minimum of 5-6 workers standing around the food line seems crazy to me. I like their food but will not go back to this location - not sure if this happens in other places but when we've been to other store we can walk in and make an order. read more

Visited this store at 7:30 on a Friday evening. Every table needed wiping off, and the floor had been similarly neglected. I give a lot of grace these days knowing how short staffed many places are, but that simply wasn't the case during my visit. There was no line for service (we had one couple ahead of us), there were plenty of employees behind the counter, not all of them occupied, yet the front of house was a mess. I had to wipe off a table in order that we could sit to eat our meal. Oddly enough this was my first visit to a Chipotle. I don't expect to go back. Food was okay, but not great. Romaine pieces in my salad were almost unmanageably big, and the spinach leaves weren't de-stemmed so they flicked salsa across the table. Maybe this was a one-off bad night for the store, but looking at the other reviews it seems not to be the case. read more

Disgusting, and majorly disappointing. Wish there was a negative star choice in the rating system. Arrived Approximately 11:10am on March 11, 2024; at the 1281 Johnson Ferry Rd Marietta, GA 30068, Chipotle Mexican Grill. The line where food choices are made looked like the left over food from the day before. Everything was near depleted in the stainless containers. Fresh my A _ S. My Barbacola Meat bowl was cold (and they up charge for this meat choice), the sour cream was like a runny paint consistency , and my rice was floating in liquid at the bottom of my bowl. Never mind the brown Guacamole. The tables and chairs had food stuck on them, I presume it was also from the day before as there was only one other customer in the restaurant when I arrived. I have loved Chipotle for years and years, but after finding a hair in my food I feel so sick to my stomach. It was close to closing and the staff must have checked out for the day. They did give a generous amount of rice, but there was barely any cilantro/seasoning in the rice. It was mushy and I barely could find my steaks in sea of mushy rice. read more

I understand that it's hard to hire people when they're currently making more money by not working, I do. But as I stand here waiting on a mobile order, I'm watching them turn away potential customers because they are seemingly unable to open up a register. If I owned this place, I'd figure out a way to take orders in-store, even if I was only able to use one make line. Nothing irritates customers and deters them from coming back quite like saying 'no, I can't take your money'. And while you can certainly order on the app while in the store, I have yet to see one person working here on the multiple visits since they went online-only actually take the time to clarify or to encourage the person asking to order to download the app and place it there. read more

Go to enter, and there is a sign on door stating no lettuce. Ok, cool. We go in, and the lady doesn't say hello how ya doin or anything - literally says we aren't doing in person orders, online only. I replied what do you mean? There were atleast 10 employees standing around have you - and she replies we're short staffed we can only do online orders. I said well if I do an online order, is it a robot that is going to make my meal? That makes zero sense - you're literally making my food either way. Chipotle is the world's worst lately - how do they operate like this?! It's like they give an intelligence test to work there and the worse you score you're hired. Will not be back that's for sure.
