This restaurant quickly became our go-to dinner spot. We found El Local on Yelp about a month ago…read moreand decided to try it out. It was a very busy Friday night, but the service was fantastic. Every server and team member was engaged with the tables, with more than one server checking on us (and others). They were also great at making recommendations for our food, since we had never eaten there. I forgot to take pictures but we've been back 3 times since! The food has been fantastic! Fresh herbs, tender meat, flavorful ingredients and everything we've had has been great. Previously we tried gorditas (soooo good), enchiladas and two kinds of burritos. This time, we chose quesabirria and shredded beef enchiladas. Both were fantastic! Even more, the drinks are incredible. The bartender has made a few different drinks, including margaritas and mojitos and they're never too sweet, just refreshing and delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is very easy going, fun (with some Latin music on) and relaxing environment. It's been very clean on each visit as well. Can't wait to go back!

The hype is real! After reading all the reviews and seeing all the yummy pics, we decided to stop…read morein and try it for ourselves. We came on a Saturday around 5 and it was busy, we were told there would be almost an hour wait on the food and there wasn't a table available so we sat at the bar. It was worth it. I had met the bartender at an event before and was pleasantly surprised to see him behind the bar but he was working his magic and the drinks coming out looks beautiful. He took great care of us. We ordered flautas and a torta, the food came out in 20 minutes and it was soo delicious. The food felt and tasted so authentic. The space is not small but not big and it's def unique but festive and cool. We tried visiting again on Thursday for dinner but this time there was a line outside, we need to time this better but worth it.

Y'all. This food truck is a gem in Leigh Acres and the fort Myers area. I found them on Instagram…read moreand dang am I glad I did. I love tacos and could probably eat them daily. But these birria tacos are hands down the best tacos I've ever had. The flavor was so savory and rich. The quality of the meat was top notch. And the portion was excellent as well for the price. Service was good as well. There were a few tables where the truck wt the location of the day I was there, not sure if that is a normal thing or not. I understand why they sell out often because truly these are incredible. Don't miss this whenever they are in your area.

I really wanted to love Las Gorditas -- the food is great and I always try to support local food…read moretrucks. However, my recent experience left a lot to be desired. First, I have to say the customer service needs serious improvement. I called ahead to place an order, but instead of being properly assisted, I was left on the line while the staff continued to take other in-person orders. There was no courtesy hold or communication, which felt unprofessional and frustrating. In total we had to call MULTIPLE times and was on "hold" for more then 10 minutes. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I understand how busy things can get -- but basic customer service goes a long way in keeping guests satisfied. Secondly, the pricing is a bit extreme, especially when it comes to something as simple as the Hot Cheeto bag. You are paying $6 for a 1oz bag. You can get a whole party size bag of hot Cheetos for less. I get that food costs are rising, but for what you're getting, it feels overpriced. Also, to add that I have tried this food truck multiple times and this occurs every time. The food is wonderful but it is going to lose business if there is not a change. If you are going to offer a phone service then please have it functioning properly. Overall, there's potential here, but unless they improve how they treat their customers and take a second look at their pricing structure, it's hard to justify coming back or recommending the place to others. In today's competitive food scene, service and value are just as important as flavor.

On the outside, the name Lozano reminds us the Lozano Mexican Restaurant in Immokalee. However in closer examination, this is Senor Lozano of Lehigh Acres with different ownership! A young staff greeted us and provided an excellent and friendly service promptly! You can tell he has that hospitality spirit in him! We ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and grits and Chorizo con Huevo tacos with coffee. The Chorizo con Huevo needs to add a little pepper and hot sauce to bring out the flavor. Scrambled eggs with bacon are just plain scrambled eggs and nothing to write home. It was quick and OK breakfast but the ambiance suggested they have a setup for a decent Tequila or Margarita. Possible a stop during Cinco De Mayo if you are in the area!

This place is a DISASTER! My hubby & I were so very disappointed. We were so looking forward to…read morecoming here for dinner. From the outside this place looked so inviting. We entered the restaurant and it was very sparce with tables. I understand because of COVID . Our server did the best that she could do. We left her a good tip. She looked so sad. When She brought us chips and salsa, They didn't look too bad but the taste was not good. The salsa tasted like it had a Smokey flavor but it was not flavorful. The chips were thick and hard with no flavor either. We ordered their Combination dinner #1. Just a burrito & taco with retried beans and rice . I got a soda and he got a sweet tea. The atmosphere was nice. The food came it was the most plain looking food. The server asked how we would like our tortillas corn or flour? I told her corn and my hubby told her flour. The food had no taste to speak of! The entire meal looks so very unappealing. When I opened what was supposed to be a burrito, was nothing but a big ladle sized greasy ground beef slop in a tortilla. The taco was greasy and same but it did have a little lettuce cheese and tomatoes added. The taste was so bad that I could only taste test a little bit. I could not eat my meal. The refried beans tasted nasty and tasted the same. The rice was so bland and dry no flavor. Thank goodness for Pepsi! Food looked so unappealing that I wasn't able to include any pics of it! The best things about ur dinner was our beverages. I went to the restroom. Oh it was awful! It was filthy ! the worst was mold!! Mold was all over the handicapped bar on the wall next to the toilet. I'm very allergic to mold so I began heaving! ! If I had seen the restroom first , we never would have eaten here!! Then when the bill came we were charged extra for the tortillas holding our ingredients for our so called burrito and taco! The worst $33 ever spent!! Oh and to top it all off once I got home I had diarrhea! So a fun night! Thank goodness for Imodium AD! Save yourselves! Go somewhere else instead!

When Mr.Roberto greeted us it truly felt like he was welcoming us into his home. We were seated and I ordered a lime house margarita and the jalapeño queso to start. The margarita blew me out of the water. It was so delicious I had to stop myself from getting another one (maybe on the weekend hehehe) the queso came out warm and Cheesey just how you want it! They give chips and salsa to start. Three types in a bottle and a pico type in a container. This is wonderful for me because I am a little baby when it comes to spice so I enjoyed the flavorful mild (green) while my boyfriend was a fan of the dark red really spicy one! For our mains we both got tacos he got the carne asada soft shell taco combo which came with three and I got the taco supreme which came with 2 mine were hard shell with a layer of cheese and then a soft shell. I really appreciate how they use shredded cheese on the tacos I got- it was very authentic and reminded me of actual Mexican food from Mexico and not this east coast Mexican food I can't seem to get away from in FL! We finished off the night with the flaun which was creamy and the perfect way to end this feast. We had to go boxes when we left and a beautiful heartfelt conversation with Mr.Roberto. He was full of pride, kindness, and personality. He made sure to visit every table and the atmosphere made me never want to do a to go order because then you'd be missing out of all the immaculate vibes. I can't wait to go back!

I went with a selection of tacos - asada, chorizo and pollo. The chorizo was my favorite. They make their own salsa in three levels of spice. My favorite was the mild. It was creamy and flavorful.
