Food... Terrible. Service even worse. Ordered online as Rye. Upon picking up my order let them know that inside the bag the label did not say Rye it says KD. The girl in the back proceeded to say "it is your order it just has the wrong label". She opened it up to check, the top looked exactly like my order. Cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo. I proceed to ask her "it has no beans right and it's a chicken bowl?" She says "yes". Get home and boom... a steak bowl with brown rice and black beans just as the label says for 'KD'. read more

Every time I go to this chipotle they are out of so many things. I just went to get dinner no chicken, no barbacoa. They are always out of something. The store is always dirty and the staff is so unfriendly. It's not the only time this has happened. Last time I will give this location a try. read more

This is by far the worst Chipotle I've visited. They are consistently out of key ingredients like rice, chicken, beans, and other staples. If this had only happened once, I wouldn't have bothered leaving a review, but this has been my experience on multiple visits. The only reason I kept giving this location another chance was because it's conveniently close, but after so many disappointing experiences, I've given up. Running out of the basic ingredients that make up your menu shouldn't be the norm. Chipotle corporate should step in and address the ongoing issues at this location because it's hurting the brand's reputation. It's frustrating that basic customer service seems impossible here. After multiple issues at this location, I felt I had to write this review. This is the best quick, healthier option near us (aside from McDonald's and Taco Bell), but the experience is consistently poor. Staff have no sense of urgency, there's clearly no leadership or accountability, and customers are treated like an inconvenience. I've been charged for missing items multiple times. I even contacted Chipotle corporate--no response. The store level? Also no accountability or follow-up. The only reason I keep coming back is because this is the healthiest last-minute option nearby. Otherwise, I would have stopped long ago. It's unacceptable that every single visit has issues. Management needs to step up and actually do their job--train staff, improve communication, and take customer concerns seriously. read more

I was forewarned by my husband not to visit this location, but I thought I'd give them a chance. That was MY mistake. I ordered one meal - a bowl with eight ingredients: white rice, pinto beans, chicken, hot sauce, pico, corn, lettuce, and cheese, and used the Chipotlane to pick it up. When I got home, the bowl had four items in it -- rice, beans, chicken, and pico. That's it. Missing one topping is a mistake. Missing half the order means the person making it simply didn't give a s**t! There's no excuse for that level of incompetence, especially when the order is printed right in front of them. What made it worse is the complete lack of accountability. I wasn't asking for free food or a refund -- just a basic apology. Instead, I got nothing. No acknowledgment, no concern, no effort. That's 100% on CHIPOTLE!! If this is the quality of employees they're hiring and training, it's no surprise the orders are wrong. My husband and I were excited when the new Chipotle opened in our area, but unfortunately, our experiences have been consistently disappointing. We've visited three times now, and each time has been chaotic. Most recently, we went on Wednesday at 5 PM--prime dinner time. The line was almost out the door, and it took over 15 minutes just to place our order. The crew behind the counter seemed very stressed and overwhelmed, while both managers sat in the dining room having a casual conversation. They did not step in to help, which came across as unprofessional and indifferent to their team's struggles. On a positive note, Makita at the register was excellent--friendly, professional, and efficient. Honestly, she showed more leadership than the managers on duty. Chipotle would do well to recognize her potential. We enjoy Chipotle and want to support our local restaurant, but this location is severely lacking in leadership and organization. I hope to see improvements soon, because right now, it's falling far short of expectations. read more

I want to start off by saying I had good intentions when I found this bug in my food. I assumed maybe the lettuce wasn't washed well, and it was a one-off situation. However, reading Google reviews of this place and seeing other photos has me genuinely concerned about the food safety of this location. The chips were all undercooked as well, but I would've been fine if that was the only issue. I tried calling this location to see if I could just go to a different location and have the bowl remade. The number is not in service. Reading other Google reviews showed the same thing happened when other customers tried calling. There is 0 reason why the store number should not be in service after months of operation. So instead, my husband called customer service and spoke to Erika from their corporate office. She gave us two free entrees and two free bags of chips next time we go to a chipotle. Thank you to Erika for trying to make it right. read more

It seems each time we order the food goes more downhill. My salad had a few pieces of salad, no dressing on side, drowned in sour cream, and black beans. I threw most of it out! Gross! It was a sour cream black bean bowl! My husband's burrito bowl looked like it was half empty, and dumped into the container. Chipotle is not cheap! We stopped getting chips because they are always stale tasting. Obviously, Chipolte never reads these reviews because it seems all locations in AZ get bad reviews. I usually like to give places a chance to improve. Maybe it was a bad day, low on product, I'm a very understanding person when it comes to the food industry since I worked in it for 7 years. But this location lacks very simple organization and policy. First off, there is no team work, no communication on anything. Second, customer service is basically non existent. Shouldn't be talking poorly about other coworkers in front of customers. Shows a serious lack of professionalism. And lastly, and this is probably due to lack of organization, this place is a mess. My wife and l were at this location 5:40 pm to day to order a Chipotle bowls. It was not busy and 8 young men were behind the counter we tried to order the spicy chicken bowls. The trayes were empty no chicken no veggies had to wait for them to be made. The chicken was cooked. But the cook didn't make the veggies. Had to wait untill he was asked again for him to make veggies. I wanted to leave after looking around at the messy store. My wife was very hungry and got a taste of the freshly made chicken and it was good. We. Waited for the veggies to be cooked. Got our food and had to ask for a table to be cleaned. . Got seated and started to eat and my wife had ordersd some chips . The chips were not good. She got them replaced. We have been to a couple of other Chipotle location and always had a great meal. If this had been our first time . It would have been our last time. May not be back to this one. The place needs a manager to pay closer attention to the workers and cleanliness of the property. We have tried this location 4 times. Every time they are out of something. This time it was the carne asada, last time it was chicken. Multiple containers were empty or incredibly low. Chips were stale. It's 4pm, and fully staffed, we were the only ones in there. This place needs help. We have given them multiple tries, we are done. My advice...try something else. read more

Ordering online has been the kiss of death for me at Chipotle but this order and store take the cake. Do yourself a favor and order in person. There's no excuses for serving what I picked up if the customer is exposed to the process. Every single item looked like it was prepared by a blindfolded toddler. My son's burrito had a hole you could drive a truck through, with rice and beans spilling out the side and out of the foil into the to-go bag. My daughter's taco order had a taco with ONE sad piece of chicken in it, and my bowls portions, while not necessitating tidy assembly, looked to be all half portions. First, I want to say my family and I have been very excited for this Chipotle to open. However, my past two experiences have not been good. I first had a Chipotle Lane order on August 30th. I waited for 5 minutes at the window and no one came up. No problem, I drove around and waited in line for my food. The employees were very nice and I could tell they were overwhelmed. When I got home, I realized that I had NO corn salsa in my bowl even thought I asked for extra. Also, I had ordered a Poppi soda that was also not in the bag. :( My second encounter was today, September 11th. I pull up to the window and am on my phone waiting for the window to open. A young girl with glasses opens the window and I say "Hello". She ignores my greeting and says "Name". I tell her my name and as she hands me the bag I say "Thank you". She doesn't even look at me, never smiled once, and just shut the window door. This left me infuriated. It was very rude!! But I stayed positive. My food was ready on time, that's a win!! However, I get home and open my Chicken Quesadilla. It's barely put together, chicken and cheese melting all over the place, and there's NO SIDES. I asked for corn salsa, white rice, and the vinaigrette. There was nothing in my bag. NO napkins, no utensils either. To say I was very disappointed is an understatement. Again, I love Chipotle and I love how close this location is to our house. But to be greeted so rudely and then have a sloppy quesadilla with no sides is just not acceptable. I would have been willing to wait an extra 5-10 minutes and have my order be correct than to have it prepared incorrectly and without any sides. ordered online to be made by 8:40 but waited for more than an hour till 9:30. worst service ever. it said that it was complete by 8:40 and even after numerous complaints in person, i still didn't get my food until 9:30. they also forgot the pico, skimped out of chicken portions, and served me rudely as though it was my fault they couldn't complete my order. the manager would not even let me cancel the order after waiting over half an hour because it said it was complete even though they did not even start making it. i would not come back to this location or even set my online orders here again. 0/10 experience and i don't even know if they can learn from these numerous mistakes! read more

Ordered a steak bowl with about 5 chunks of steak, whiich was buried under all the rice and lettuce. Also, If im being charged for gucamole then I should get gucamole. I was excited about this new location after being dissatisfied by the nearby Val Vista location several times. I was pleasantly surprised by the portions at this location which are as I expect from Chipotle and significantly better than the Val Vista location (the manager at Val Vista micromanages the employees and the portions that they give).
