I stopped at this location on 5/19/2025 at 9:10pm - this is 50 minutes before closing time. I was greeted (if you can call it that) by a hurried, pre-occupied gentleman that seemed to annoyed that I dare stop to eat at this time of the night. The food area was totally in disarray. There was food all over the counters, in between the food bins, and dried something on the inside of the glass. The selection of food was disappointing: I ordered the 3 crispy tacos - I could have 2 crispy and one soft shell. They ran out of crispy shells. ?? Of the four meat choices I could only have chicken (that's all that was left). ?? Even worse, the chicken was cold and chewy. Of the variety of salsa choices I was only allowed the Hot, because all the others were all out.?? I couldn't get any lettuce. ?? Only cheese & sour cream on my tacos.. Or guacamole for an up charge. ?? All the staff looked like they just wanted to get out of there and were just trying to clean up so they could leave. Napkins, plasticware and drink station were mostly empty. Floors were dirty and most of the tables already had chairs on them closed for seating. THIS WAS 50 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING???!! I doubt I would stop at this location again, especially when there are so many other options in the same area. This location is a poor example for Chipotle! read more

Chipotle is my absolute FAVORITE place to eat. In fact I got a thank you for being there top 1% of customers last year. But this location is absolutely the worst on I have been too. The staff is constantly changing due to poor management. The place is disgusting. They've eliminated multiple food items like fajita for months due to "no one prepping in the mornings". Anthony who I assume is some sort of leadership is rude and combative when you ask why they haven't had items on the menu for months. The place is disgustingly filthy all over. And on a funny note there's a sign on the door that states because of the US coin SHORTAGE they are only accepting cards. However the "change shortage" was "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Mint slowed coin production from March 2020 to June 2020 to reduce employee exposure to the virus." according to bank rate dot com. However here we are three years after the shortage still having problems at this location. I was told to leave by Anthony when I started taking pictures. But attached are a few. read more

We waited in line for 10 minutes and they had at least six people working, none of which were paying attention to the line of 10 customers. They were packing to go orders before the customers in the store and continued to use all of the ingredients for those orders and were out before we even got to the counter to get our food. My order was missing two ingredients, every table is dirty, the chicken was cold, and I'm sure there is more I can complain about. Once again they did not have onions and peppers. Three times I've been there visiting area for work. First time no veggies came with a sob story of them being understaffed. At 7pm they were unwilling to make more fajita vegetables, guac or chicken and proceeded to say that they weren't doing it for the rest of the night. This was my family's first time at a chipotle. We were on the last leg of our trip and had one last delivery to make in Effingham. We decided we'd give chipotle a try since we've always heard it's so good. This was the worst service I've probably ever had and I've traveled a lot. I hate giving bad reviews because I've worked in food service and I know how awful it can be to deal with the public but there is absolutely no excuse for our experience tonight. Especially since we paid so much $. We all agreed we'd probably never try chipotle again unfortunately. Everything was filthy and out of stock. No napkins, cups, food all over the tables. The guy who was suppose to be cutting the brisket up to restock made it known he didn't want to do it then started waving the knife around and stabbing in between his fingers on the cutting board. Right after he took an exceptionally long time to cut up the meat he got on his phone and started rubbing his hands through his hair and never washed his hands before returning to his job. This place is filthy! From the bathrooms to the counter the food is placed on. Condiment area hadn't been wiped down in a long time and had people's trash left on counters. Had a hard time finding a clean table, we picked one with the fewest crumbs and I had to wipe my chair down before I could sit. OK it's 7 PM there's no steak on the line they scrape in the bottom of the barrel giving you 2 to 3 chunks of steak. They do not have vinaigrette and with chipotles bowl unique vinaigrette chipotle without vinaigrette is Moe's. I asked the young lady about the vinaigrette she said they didn't make it in last night she didn't work last night. So I said to her but you've been here all day it's just oil and vinegar you could've made some every table in the restaurant is filthy not clean at all I know I see why they got a low rating. 2 hours after eating I got sick with diarrhea. read more

Stopped off the interstate for a quick bite. We enjoy eating at other Chipotles so we figured it would be a good place to stop. Upon entering the establishment, I knew I should have left. It was very dirty compared to other Chipotles. Even the glass covering the food looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few days. The rice was not fully cooked as it was still hard. Imagine standing in line to get your food order in and the lady behind the counter tells you that they're only taking online orders. Then proceeds to tell you that you can order online or call the store and place an order while you're standing 5 feet from her. Who thought of this? We all spend enough time looking at our phones. It makes zero sense nor is it reasonable that a person who walks into a restaurant would needs to call them or place an order online when there are employees standing at the cash register.Is there no intelligent life on this planet? This chipotle is amazing! This is a very common place for people to stop during a road trip, and often it is very crowded. Almost every time I go in there, I feel like they are understaffed and super overwhelmed, but they do a great job of handling everything at once.
