A person I think the manager was kind because when there was an error in scanning a coupon for a drink, they gave me one extra for free for my inconvenience. The portion sizing are not usually that bad, but I did go one time and the woman who filled my bowl gave me much less than usual, so sometimes the sizing may be inconsistent. I think I went during lunchtime when the woman was working. However, the quality of food is good, the location itself is clean and convenient, and there were no issues elsewhere. I've gone maybe 5 times and plan to go more, and usually everything exceeds my expectations! I love Chipotle so I may be biased. read more

Good location . Right on Rt 130 and lots of other shops and restaurants around . Lots of parking outside . Indoor seating was good . Lots of seats to sit and eat . .. service was ok. Could be quicker .. they charge extras for side of hot sauce wherein many other chipotles don't charge . Food was good. Quantity was ok. Rice was too less but the taste was good. Looked fresh . Got a rice bowl which is our favorite in chipotle . Veggies were fresh . The food is always watery, cheese is clumped up, portion sizes are poor and they refuse to give you an extra spoon if you ask and just don't follow company policy. Stopped here for a quick bite recently. Nice decor in the building, it's is an assembly line distribution of food. The food bowl was good but not filled up as well as other Chipotles I've been to. Charging $5.00 for their chips was a surprise. The young lady who made my bowl seemed pleasant, the few other employees didn't crack a smile. I don't write reviews for Fast Food restaurants, but I get the honor of being "First to Review" for this Chipotle, so why not! It's a stand-alone Chipotle in the middle of your average strip mall with a large Shop Rite as the anchor. As usual, ingredients were fresh and both our bowl and burrito were what we've come to expect from Chipotle. It was heavily staffed on Opening Day. The staff is still new and training, so there were tiny hiccups with our order, but overall a normal experience. Since we ended up being on of the "First 50 Customers", we scored some CHIH-POAT-LAY t-shirts. LOL read more

I never give a one star review, but considering the limited menu, everything should always be fresh!! So disappointed in the East Windsor location. Last night the guacamole on my burrito bowl was brownish, I also ordered a large side of guacamole, it was also brown, not appetizing at all, therefore inedible. The bag of chips I ordered were not very crisp, way too salty, kind of chewy and stale. I threw the chips and guacamole out. I scraped the guacamole off of my burrito bowl. How irresponsible it was to serve that brown guacamole. I'm sure the staff could see that!!! I thought Chipotle was supposed to be "fresh"? This location needs better management!! read more

Stingy Chipotle workers charged me extra for cheese and barely give a full scoop of anything.

Food is decent if you order it on the spot but anytime I order online for pick up or delivery it's cold. However, temperature of the food isn't the reason for the low rating, the stores cleanliness is the main factor here. I wish I could say that the food that was on top of tables chairs and the floors were a one off but we've noticed this anytime we go in. Most likely won't be returning due to this. Sanitation should always be priority & management should be more efficient in making sure this gets done, although unsure if there is even a manager present as much time it's young adults working (not blaming them, this clearly would be better if management was on top of things) again probably won't be returning but hopefully this gets is resolved. So... we avoided coming here a couple weeks ago due to the reviews, but tonight we decided to try it for our Cinco de Mayo meal. It was delicious and perfect and the service was fantastic! The initial poor reviews were probably just because they were getting started up (they're new to this location), and hopefully now they're steady on their feet. We pulled up to the window a couple minutes early, and our order wasn't quite ready (understandable). We were told it would be right out, and he offered us a drink on them while we waited! Very kind. We only waited a few more minutes, and then our food was ready. We got it home and it was so good. We'll be back! Great service, great food. read more

Today, I visited this location and ordered burritos. They were so SOGGY they needed to be dried out with a chamois. The wrap was soaking wet and I needed to remove the contents and drain them then placing them into a bowl. This is an unacceptable presentation of expensive ingredients and quality control has became an issue in such a short time from its grand opening. I got from here on Saturday night and it was very disappointing. All 4 bowls looked like they were smashed and then thrown into the bag. They were leaking all over and the queso was upside down. Sitting outside the chipotle while i write this. ordering around 9:30 myself and my friends each went to get a meal. And the servers were not very friendly. Working the counter were two women, and older woman with glasses and a young girl with a fading blonde dye job. We ordered a burrito a bowl and a quesadilla . I was infront between myself and my friends was another customer. I asked for chips and they said they were out when they clearly had chips but im polite and went about my purchase. As my friends were at the counter they asked for chips and they were also turned down and understandably irked because no one is going out of their way for chipotle if they were to know they can't get the chips. After getting our orders and leaving in the car we realize the order is wrong because they have us chicken and we do not eat meat nor did we ask for it- Infact we emphasized this. Having gone back in and asking for a new one the women began to speak in Spanish disrespectfully about us as if we did not understand. Recently ate there and really appreciate the new location. the food preparers are very cooperative to add more meat or sides if you feel its a little skimpy for the portion size. more than the one on route one Lawrenceville would. the food at this location the is always good and the seating is much better than route one location. recently the chipotle App once again was a pain in the neck and my reward for double meat did not scan so the owner made it right after we paid and checked out by bringing over a free meal (a bowl like the one we got) thats over and above to make up for the hassle (of the app that is) with free chips, quac (a little brown but its the thought that counts) and fully loaded no skimping. so a reward for double meat is about 5.60 and a whole new bowl about 11.50. the manager really did a solid and that's customer service. read more

Don't get me wrong. The food was good. The service was terrible. Stepped into the restaurant and absolutely no one greeted us. 7 workers making bags of chips and cutting meat and just milling around, not one greeting. Waiting almost 7 minutes before the only person helping customers dragged his ass over to take our order. Still no greeting. I asked to substitute chips for the rice because my daughter wanted nachos, he told me they do not do any substitutes. He then proceeded to give me as little as possible in my items. Management is non existent and the staff is rude and overall just doesn't care. They make you feel like you're bothering them. They are not friendly or even cordial. It's such a shame. Worst drive through chipotle experience. I ordered hour ago for quick pick up and when I went to the window he came up took my order name and everything and closed the window. He came after 5 minutes and said come back in 10 minutes. This is the first chipotle I had this experience with. Late on my order which was ordered hour ago.
