My wife has celiac disease and must eat a gluten free diet. She specifically asked for corn tacos and verified she was being given corn taco shells. Apparently the server thought she was asking for corn in the tacos, even though it was the first step in the order line. She was given flour tacos. Upon biting into them she questioned what they were; she approached the staff and was told they were indeed flour. No remedy was offered. She threw the taco shells away and ate the filling. Before leaving the restaurant she asked to talk to the manager and was only offered excuses as to why they screwed up the order - - - no apology for serving her food that makes her sick. I have been ordering the quesadilla on door dash and it comes in a full burrito but in the shape of a square. I thought that was normal until I went in and asked for one, the first guy told me their machine was down. Went back in and the guy told me to not order it if they were busy, he still made it but made me feel bad for ordering something on the menu. It was much larger in size like half of a whole burrito! We haven't door dashed chipotle in a few weeks and I ordered my quesadilla and it was empty... the corn wasn't full, the sour cream 1/4 full, and they were in the small plastic containers. I've gone to chipotle for years. Always a great quick meal. Just moved to Davenport and am extremely disappointed in this Chipotle. The staff never fails to mess up my order. The seem distracted every time I go in. They always add something I don't ask for every single time, in front of my face. The quality of the ingredients at this Chipotle is terrible. Guac is never good. Rice is always undercooked and hard. Every single time. I always hope that it's just one-off mistakes but at this point I am losing hope. Time to give up on this Chipotle. As far as Chipotles go, this one is a good one. Clean, friendly and fast service. The outdoor area is nice, too. It's in a busy area but kind of out of the chaos, which made it pleasant to eat outside. Only complaint I will give is the ladies room, which had garbage on the floor and only two stalls, one of which was for disabled people and out of t.p. Food is always good and fresh. Staff is nice. Steak is a little spicy just a warning to those who are sensitive to spicy food. Carnitas are very good. I had my first bad experience today. I went to chipotle on my lunch hour and picked up a burrito bowl. I got back to work to eat and my first bite was off putting. Why, you ask? Because they undercooked the brown rice so bad that it was almost inedible. I couldn't power through it. I called to talk to a manager. First off, he seemed like he had no idea what to do with a bad experience. He asked if I'd eaten any of it yet.. Which I obviously had. Then proceeded to ask me to come back in, which I had already told him I ran there on a break from work. He then said if I could come back today they'd give me a free bowl. Obviously that is not in my schedule if I told you I was at work! I ended up hanging up on him because he couldn't get his sh*t together. As someone who has been in communications as well as the food service in my career.. The right thing to do would be to make this something convenient for me. Mail me a coupon. Based on the last few visits to Chipotle, i've noticed a few concerning things. First of all my mobile order has been incorrect and mixed up with others orders several times. Along with that, I have not received silverware several times and considering that I am on the go when I get Chipotle, I would like to have had silverware. Also, the lid has been off of my bowl many times which could easily cause a mess. Lastly, I was stared at and asked to leave until I got a mask when I walked in without a mask when I was simply walking in quickly to receive my mobile order and not a single person was in the restaurant at that time. I have always enjoyed Chipotle because of their commitment to non-GMO food and also consistent quality. This is probably the only chain I will give more than 3 stars for their performance in overall customer satisfaction. This is typical set up and location so nothing exceedingly special about it. Still, I found this place very clean and organized. The servers were very courteous and didn't rush through the order. It will be my regular rest stop while commuting on I-80. read more

I went to this restaurant for the first time today with some coworkers. First I had just entered the store and a man yelled across the dinning room I had to have a mask. Could have explained in a more pleasant way even though the employees were not wearing their own mask properly. Then second I ordered ice tea and some sugar, it took the gal forever to bring me sweet and low and then informed me they don't have any sugar so I just said she could refund my my and I would take water at which point she comes over to the table and said I have to come back up and have it put on my card which takes a manager with a key which happens to be the man that yelled at me coming in. Then as we are eating our lunch a couple people in getting waited on by employees that still are not covering their noses and without a mask that are not wearing a mask.
