I've been here maybe 6 times. One seamless experience. The rest were total disasters. We're talking a tire fire in a dumpster fire in a junkyard fire bad. Only once has it taken me less than an hour to get my food. Once 2.5 hours. Once FOUR HOURS, and it was cold and they didn't have any chips left - chips we already paid for. They are constantly out of menu staples that has prevented me from ordering a bunch of times. How are you out of chicken, steak, lettuce, and cheese at the same time? Tonight, I put an order in my bag earlier because my partner wasn't hungry yet. I came back two hours later and they were out of chicken, lettuce, and queso. And when they're inevitably out of an ingredient in something you've ordered before, your order history will disappear. A few weeks ago, I had a terrible day and decided to have it delivered because my car was stuck in ice and I live on a hill. It arrived over an hour later, and whoever made it mixed up the lids with someone else's because the lid was correct, but what was inside wasn't even close. It took forever to get my car out and I spent 10 minutes trying not to die sliding down the hill. I get there at like 8:30 PM and explained this to the manager. Someone else made my food. When I got home and opened it, I was totally p!ssed. The bowl wasn't even half full. They were out of black beans. It had maybe three fajita vegetables on it. Maybe a teaspoon of corn and avocado. It was mostly rice. $19 for this amazing experience. We're past the point of "they're new." It should be at least half functional at this point. It's not. I've never seen a more poorly run place EVER. I'd give it zero stars if possible. read more

Wanted to try this one out since it's new to the area. Was disappointed. Long line and one person working food line. Music playing was too loud. Tables were dirty and they said we had to wait 5-10 minutes for rice when it was our turn to order. I blame it on poor management. read more

Worst Chipotle I've ever been in. Trash overflowing, only one person taking orders while others stand and talk. Each order was taking at least minutes to do and 3 people ahead of us so we left. Most tattoos in a chipotle I've ever seen. Yet right across the street the Chik Fil A was a clean and friendly hard working staff. read more

They were out of rice, chicken, guac, chips . This is what you are open to serve, how do you run out? The worker looked like he just woke out of bed or just got done ripping a bong in his car. By far the worst chipotle I've ever been too!! And I love chipotle. The service is absolutely horrible, slow, and I've been charged twice for chimichurri sauce I never received! The last bowl I had was horrible, meat tasted liked it's been sitting there all day long. I thought I would try back a few weeks later still the same thing! I placed an order and sad pick up would be 5:50, I waited in line until 645 in the drive through just for it not to be ready still!! I will never ever come here again! read more

Ordered online and the order was supposed to be ready at 4:50PM. Waited until 5:30PM and still nothing was ready, no updates or anything. I finally asked the cashier for an update and he informed me they weren't even caught up to 4:30PM orders yet. If there is an issue with too many orders, why don't they turn off mobile ordering? Very disappointing experience, and never got my food. Avoid this location until they figure their stuff out. read more

My order was to be ready at 920. I pulled up to the window was asked name for my order. I responded with the order name, no answer was given, employee walked away and let the window close. I have tried twice to eat at this place and have ended up walking out because of the wait the first time and then they told me they don't want to make any rice with a half hour left of being op because they were out and needed to start shutting down the kitchen. Super understaffed and out of everything. We were so excited to have a Chipotle in Cumberland, but this was a terrible experience. There were 3 people working. The poor young man on the line was trying so hard but the rest of the staff was standing around, outside smoking weed, leaving everything dirty and unstocked. They were out of chips at 7:00 and shrugged when I asked when they would have more. It seems like nobody was in charge at all. The tables and floors were filthy. The worst Chipotle experience I have ever had. I really hope this can get better. read more

I have been there 3 times and have yet to eat! The food bins are near empty and the little bit that's in there looks dry. The restaurant is dirty, tables aren't clean. We left.....again! Chick Fil a is across the street and they got our business! Fed up! read more

I love Chipotle and I am thrilled to finally have one in Cumberland. This my second visit since the opening. The first visit on December 12 was fine except that they were out of guacamole. My visit today, January 21 was a major disappointment. Cold food, slow service, dirty counters & floors. It was disappointing, especially since the restaurant was not very busy. read more

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and even though they were busy you could tell that everyone was trying there best the food was delicious and everything tasted very fresh it's a new place and they are very busy I think that they are doing great considering all the pressure read more

worst run chipotle I have ever been in. whether a walk in or drive up the time it takes to get any order is hours, not minutes. The manager has not a clue how to run the establishment. if corporate would see the way things are run, one would hope they would step in. I love the food, but the service out-ways the food. I placed a pick up order for 2 bowls and 2 bags of chips to be picked up at 6:40, I waited an hour for this order and they forgot both bags of chips. There were atleast 6 other people waiting for their orders also. The staff was clearly neglecting the online orders to serve the walk ins. I ordered for pickup window, NO guacamole, as always, no fajita veggies, but they didn't inform me, when I got home 30 minutes away and go to eat my food, I was disappointed as I have been all 3 times I have gone here. The employees don't seem to care at all about anything. I had to drive back an hour later to get the guac I ordered. Asked about the veggies, the employee told me they didn't have any, I asked when they might be ready, and that just seemed to irritate them, so I asked if I could come in and prepare them, she just looked at me pissed off even more. I came in here at 10:45 when they opened. It took an hour to get my order. And, they hand me my order and it's wrong telling me they don't have tortillas when I've been waiting there and placed a burrito order. They had probably 10 employees working as slow as possible and all that time to say what they were out of. I'm sure everybody is disappointed in this Chipotle's service today. The "manager" wasn't able to refund me for my burrito and said she had no access to drawers what a joke. She told me 3 times she put something in my bag when she didn't each time I asked her. Most mentally incapable people working there, I've never seen people move so slow and be that lazy especially at the start of the day. Will NEVER be going to this Chipotle again the drive to Hagerstown is worth it over this save your time that way.
