I was at the Chambersburg Chipotle about 9 months ago. After that visit I swore I wouldn't eat there again. Rude workers, messy tables, not clean at all. Fast forward to this evening when I took my grandson there after soccer practice. I immediately noticed how spotless and clean it was. All of the employees were polite and friendly, and the food area was neat and clean. The service was great, and the food very good. Even my grandson said how much nicer it was. On one occasion he gave me three pieces of steak in my bowl. When you ask for extra he pretty much refuses and adds a teaspoon of extra food. This is the closest location to me or else I'd go to another. This store continually never has chips available at dinner time. This time I asked why as they are open til 11 so 6 hours seems like a long time to not have chips available for customers. They said they were done making them for the day and that it was the morning manager who never preps them for the evening. I asked for the manager on at that time, Kirsten, and she too blamed the am manager. The workers on duty said it's an issue all the time and that it's a horrible place to work. The manager I spoke with says it doesn't happen often, I said every time I come in they are always done making chips for the day, she said to come in more to see that it's not a reoccurring thing- but why would I come in more when they don't have their only side available. I frequent this location, at least once a week, but lately it has gone down hill. Staff is always extremely slow, and rude. At any given time, there are at least 5-7 people working, and they are always terrible. Two days in a row, I've had terrible experiences. Yesterday, I went in there and there was a lady in front of me that had a very large order while I had a simple bowl with 3 ingredients, very easy to make. They proceeded to make my food and let it sit there while the lady in front of my took nearly 10 minutes to complete her order. I simply asked to be rung up so I could go back to work, and they said "no she's almost done ordering." I waited a little longer and new that by the time I got my food I was going to be cold. I asked them to remake it, which they did with a lot of attitude and just general rudeness. I left and didn't think too much of it as I also work in a restaurant and know that people have off days sometimes. However, today I went in again and it was mostly the same people working, but much fewer customers. While I was ordering my food, I noticed a girl taking down all the bags of chips, but I saw a huge bowl of them sitting in the back, so I figured they were just going to make more bags. I asked for a small bag of chips at the register, and the lady says "Oh sorry we are out of chips right now". I looked at her confused and just pointed to the giant bowl in the back. She did not offer any further explanation, just that they were out of chips, which was clearly a lie. And then while I was getting my money out the employee turned around and said to her coworkers "she made us remake her food yesterday because I wouldn't let her cut in line". I cannot believe the rudeness of this staff. I am not sure what the manager is doing or letting the employees to, but something is clearly wrong with this store. Chambersburg Pennsylvania Chipotle..My husband & I went in around 7pm on July 28, 2023. It was horrible. The metal bins holding the food had dried caked on crust all around them, inside & out. There was food from each bin was spread around all over the surface. The servers didn't speak up and acted like we were had some nerve coming in there. I still thanked them & was given a nasty glare back. The tables all had food chunks ( not crums). The napkins were empty, the diet coke was flat, the spoons were empty. While sitting there, we watched the young man that started the food process line, use his gloved hand to scratch his head under his hat. There were two girls & the young man working the front & it was not busy. I do have to say that out if the three people, the young lady working the register was wonderful! She was the only one I saw trying to clean & restock. She was a really good worker. I forgot the part about the cooler with bottles drinks. I brought the team here for a post game dine. Chipotle is always good, pretty quick and reasonable to get a high quality bowl. I'm still bent that it's company policy to not put in changing tables. I travel a lot and have Chipotle in every state I am in. This location has friendly and tentative employees, fresh food, and a clean environment. Personally, the music is a little loud for me at this location but it's perfectly fine because I can eat outside at a table and be content. My wife and I ate here last weekend, since Moe's is now closed. Overall, we were not impressed with the food. -Chips were incredibly too salty and had an odd flavor -Chicken consistency was... Odd... Almost like it has been swimming in something to make it tender? Chipotle is definitely one of the best places to eat in Chambersburg. I really appreciate the fact that you can choose what you want, from the type of rice, or how you want it prepared. It's much like Subway in that sense. I thoroughly reccomend the bowl with steak. The store is clean, and the staff is friendly. The only complaint I have is pricing- however most of the time I believe the amount and quality of the food is worth almost the $10. read more

Chipotle's food is consistently fresh & delicious and the staff is friendly & helpful. It's our go-to for takeout.

I personally have never been a fan of this chain but my kids like it so we will go on occasion for them. this location was even less impressive than others. the food was bland, the edges of the tortilla where hard due to not keeping them covered. the interior looked like it was not finished. maybe the industrial look is what they went for but it looked like they never finished it. plywood on walls. on the plus side the kids behind the counter were friendly and clean cut. read more
