Very friendly staff! There isn't always much to be said about fast food places, but I enjoyed the atmosphere of this chipotle. Everybody who worked there was pleasant and accommodating. It's also in a convenient location! There is a cluster of shops and other places to eat right around it. read more

The food is good and the serving stuff do a good job, but I do have problem with the cleanliness of the place. The floors, the tables and windows are very dirty and the garage was full. I did notice the help wanted sign, so I'm guessing they're short of stuff. read more

How is it at 9pm you are out of sour cream cheese lettuce shredded cheese and corn salsa. 4 of which I'm sure all you need to do is cut open a bag. I order chips and queso only to get home and find no chips. Two employees even asked about chips and queso. Food is too expensive for lack luster attitudes from people who don't care. If you hate your job that much you chose it not the customer read more

Smallest portion sizes I've ever seen from a Chipotle. Tables were all covered with trash and food crumbs. Trash cans were overflowing. No need to visit this location again. read more

Incredibly rude service. Woman serving rice and meat chose my fillings without asking (which were wrong), ignored our questions, and just stared at us. Extremely and uncomfortable experience. Won't be back to this location. read more

I was at the Chambersburg Chipotle about 9 months ago. After that visit I swore I wouldn't eat there again. Rude workers, messy tables, not clean at all. Fast forward to this evening when I took my grandson there after soccer practice. I immediately noticed how spotless and clean it was. All of the employees were polite and friendly, and the food area was neat and clean. The service was great, and the food very good. Even my grandson said how much nicer it was. I'm happy about the changes for the better and will be back. read more

Food was terrible. Barbacoa was bland as hell and dry. The beans were dry. Had barely any queso at all. What was left had chunks of meat in it. Overall terrible experience with the food. People were nice and quick. Someone was actively cleaning the place so nothing bad to say about the cleanliness. Again food was TERRIBLE read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - "Currently unavailable" - and yes, that is showing my current location as standing in the restaurant. - Mexican Near Me - Chambersburg, Pennsylvania

Middle of the afternoon they said no food. Computer down. Very frustrating. Please do better.

Ick. Dirty counters. Dirty floor. Open plastic utensils in dirty, uncovered bins. Empty bins, unprepared for Wednesday evening crowd. She scooped the bottom of the bins for my mushy black beans & greasy white rice. The second guy in the service lined offered nothing & just stood there waiting for me to peer over the counter & tell him what I wanted. I avoided the queso for fear it was curdled. We sat on sticky chairs & I looked around but could not eat my sad meal. I counted 8 workers but none of them could empty the overflowing trash can or remove the pile of dirty dishes that were sitting right beside the grill of cooking meat! Call the health inspector. read more

Can you complain about getting too much guacamole on your burrito bowl? Because I smiled at the gal working the line and said nice things about the weather, I think they liked me enough to put a ton of guac on top of the bowl. Good chicken and everything was plenty fresh. read more

okay, to start off, i had made a mobil order for inside pickup at 4:10pm,alongside my brother. when we got inside only his chipotle was in the shelf. i had asked a suspicious looking employee as to where my order was. the employee mumbled then walked off. 30 min later, someone gave me the time of day and i asked yet again and magically my order was there, at 4:40. once we sat down, my brothers burrito that he ordered was not in the bag, instead was a bowl. needless to say, the experience was lackluster and the service was subpar. will not go to this location again. read more

If you go inside and place your order you should be fine but whatever you do, DO NOT order through the app because they will short you each and every time!!! Literally the last three times I've ordered through the app, I get home to find our burrito bowls barely filled and I have pictures to prove it!!! I've had contact them on several occasions because of this issue which has yet to be resolved!!! I'm sorry I am not paying $14 for a burrito bowl and it not even be halfway filled!!! I ordered extra salsa I might've had five chunks of tomato not to mention the very little steak and cheese portions we received on top of that!!! I understand times are hard but come on either lower your prices or increase your portions!!!! read more

To the man with the net around his beard who scoops at Chambersburg Chipotle, you rob costumers. I've been there at 4 different occasions and each time this man light scoops me (light in all caps). On one occasion he gave me three pieces of steak in my bowl. When you ask for extra he pretty much refuses and adds a teaspoon of extra food. I feel ripped off and don't enjoy coming to the Chambersburg Chipotle anymore because of this. Do better. read more

Staff is usually nice. Last two visits, not so much. Mobile ordering had been down, so the cashier was very angry towards every customer. Got home to the absolute worst tacos I ever had. They were barely edible. Got charged for queso, even with the free code, all bc the online ordering was down. read more

This review was done by someone who worked at chipotle so go ahead and read it Oh boy where to start. Oh I know! You people who talk horribly about the workers here are IGNORANT. I want to take your attention over to the fact that half of the workers at most of these fast food establishments are CHILDREN. That's right!! In case you're unaware of what a child is let me give you a definition: Child: "A young human being below the age of puberty or below the legal age of majority" Now that we got that out of the way, think of it this way: These kids get out of school to go STRAIGHT to work, 8 hours of nonstop emotional strain from school, just go deal with grown adults that have nothing better to do than go against a bunch of kids and scream and be disrespectful towards. Now this doesn't mean "Hey let them be disrespectful to you cause they're lil kids" No, I am just saying if they don't smile at you or look like they won the lottery 5 mins ago shut the hell up and get your damn order, you're not entitled enough to be out here acting like queen Elizabeth or something. Now before you say "Well it's their job!!" Yeah, and? You think we want to work at these places? No!!! Specially when we get yelled at 24/7 every day, because we didn't smile at you? Come on, grow up. Next issue: "Lack of supplies" Now let's think together ok? Who gives any fast food place their food and supplies? OH THATS RIGHT!! The people who send it over and are in charge of what these places need!!! Now, let's also think about this, you're a manager at said place and you run out of a specific item, is it their fault the PEOPLE WHO COUNT AND BRING THE FOOD didn't send enough? NO! :) So why go out of your way to scream and yell at a manager because of it? It's not their fault, same with pricing. Pricing is no one's fault but corporate, inflation is a thing. If you have a problem w it call corporate but leave these people ALONE!!!! They don't say how much money is worth a cup of queso, or how much is a quesadilla worth. NEXT, Portions: Oh Boy, I know y'all won't like this one but frankly idc lol. PORTIONS, which is what we are allowed to give you. We have a specific amount of food we are allowed to give you. MIND YOU, if you didn't know this we get YELLED AT and written up if we give y'all too much food. You wouldn't want to get fired would you?? Well neither would we :) so next time get your head out of your ass and start acting like the adult you are and THINK before SPEAKING. Lastly let's talk about timing: This I do understand but that still doesn't mean give us 0 stars because you couldn't wait 5 mins for your food. We were struggling a lot with staff and getting the food out in time, y'all have to understand these things are difficult for a bunch of kids and 1-2 managers. This goes for every fast food or restaurant. The machines used in here specially for the fax line are defective at times and they won't for for minutes which brings us back. But we try to get your things out on time, yet you take the time out of your day to yell at us. Even after getting your food, I mean come ON. Not only that, but don't complain about your food being cold when you order something at 11:00am and get it at 2:00 pm. That's on YOU. And the ambiance is the way it is because you all make it that way, smile, try to cheer these workers up if you have such a problem with them. I've already written enough and I don't want to waste my time anymore, if you have a problem w what I said then oh well, grow up. Bye bye loves ‼ read more

This is the closest location to me or else I'd go to another. This store continually never has chips available at dinner time. This time I asked why as they are open til 11 so 6 hours seems like a long time to not have chips available for customers. They said they were done making them for the day and that it was the morning manager who never preps them for the evening. I asked for the manager on at that time, Kirsten, and she too blamed the am manager. The workers on duty said it's an issue all the time and that it's a horrible place to work. The manager I spoke with says it doesn't happen often, I said every time I come in they are always done making chips for the day, she said to come in more to see that it's not a reoccurring thing- but why would I come in more when they don't have their only side available. Bottom line - this place has gone very down hill and makes zero sense. read more

Very slow. Perfect time to eat here, but the steak is overdone. Other than that, the food tastes good.

service was terrible and the food wasn't much better! server had an attitude and the lady fixing the food put her fingers through the bowl of food to see what meat was in there instead of asking. Nasty!!!!! read more

I frequent this location, at least once a week, but lately it has gone down hill. Staff is always extremely slow, and rude. At any given time, there are at least 5-7 people working, and they are always terrible. Two days in a row, I've had terrible experiences. Yesterday, I went in there and there was a lady in front of me that had a very large order while I had a simple bowl with 3 ingredients, very easy to make. They proceeded to make my food and let it sit there while the lady in front of my took nearly 10 minutes to complete her order. I simply asked to be rung up so I could go back to work, and they said "no she's almost done ordering." I waited a little longer and new that by the time I got my food I was going to be cold. I asked them to remake it, which they did with a lot of attitude and just general rudeness. I left and didn't think too much of it as I also work in a restaurant and know that people have off days sometimes. However, today I went in again and it was mostly the same people working, but much fewer customers. While I was ordering my food, I noticed a girl taking down all the bags of chips, but I saw a huge bowl of them sitting in the back, so I figured they were just going to make more bags. I asked for a small bag of chips at the register, and the lady says "Oh sorry we are out of chips right now". I looked at her confused and just pointed to the giant bowl in the back. She did not offer any further explanation, just that they were out of chips, which was clearly a lie. And then while I was getting my money out the employee turned around and said to her coworkers "she made us remake her food yesterday because I wouldn't let her cut in line". I cannot believe the rudeness of this staff. I am not sure what the manager is doing or letting the employees to, but something is clearly wrong with this store. Perhaps they should shut down and shut down and retrain everyone. read more

Chambersburg Pennsylvania Chipotle..My husband & I went in around 7pm on July 28, 2023. It was horrible. The metal bins holding the food had dried caked on crust all around them, inside & out. There was food from each bin was spread around all over the surface. The servers didn't speak up and acted like we were had some nerve coming in there. I still thanked them & was given a nasty glare back. The tables all had food chunks ( not crums). The napkins were empty, the diet coke was flat, the spoons were empty. While sitting there, we watched the young man that started the food process line, use his gloved hand to scratch his head under his hat. There were two girls & the young man working the front & it was not busy. I do have to say that out if the three people, the young lady working the register was wonderful! She was the only one I saw trying to clean & restock. She was a really good worker. I forgot the part about the cooler with bottles drinks. It was had rice and other food chunks laying all over the bottom. read more

I brought the team here for a post game dine. Chipotle is always good, pretty quick and reasonable to get a high quality bowl. I'm still bent that it's company policy to not put in changing tables. My kids like this food. But we still have one in a diaper. So...maybe change that policy? Babies love good fresh food. :-) read more

My wife and I ate here last weekend, since Moe's is now closed. Overall, we were not impressed with the food. -Chips were incredibly too salty and had an odd flavor -Chicken consistency was... Odd... Almost like it has been swimming in something to make it tender? It was kind of chewy, stringy and soft. -Barbacoa was way, way, WAY too spicy (too much cumin) -selection of ingredients was really lacking (Qdoba and California Tortilla are much better) -Prices were expensive I doubt we will give this restaurant a second try read more

I travel a lot and have Chipotle in every state I am in. This location has friendly and tentative employees, fresh food, and a clean environment. Personally, the music is a little loud for me at this location but it's perfectly fine because I can eat outside at a table and be content. Not a complaint but a heads up if you are with someone who is hard of hearing. read more

Recently stopped here for the first time en route to Maryland and had a burrito bowl as per my usual habit. Wow.. Music was really loud on this particular visit. Groovy, Far out, cool, awesome (insert cliche of whatever decade here), 60's, 70's , 80's 90's, A rap, and I think a 50's ballad. Is that reggae man? Some needs to be a DJ? Or is that pumped in via Satalite? Food was good. read more

I love chipotle, but I had the absolute worst food poisoning I've ever had from this location. I had a veggie burrito with fajita veggies. They tasted off and were a bit mushy, but I thought nothing of it because it certainly did not taste bad. I will not be coming back to this location. read more

Cooked well with fresh ingredients, however if you order the steak you will sometimes get whole chunks of nothing but fat.

Chipotle's food is consistently fresh & delicious and the staff is friendly & helpful. It's our go-to for takeout.

Chipotle is definitely one of the best places to eat in Chambersburg. I really appreciate the fact that you can choose what you want, from the type of rice, or how you want it prepared. It's much like Subway in that sense. I thoroughly reccomend the bowl with steak. The store is clean, and the staff is friendly. The only complaint I have is pricing- however most of the time I believe the amount and quality of the food is worth almost the $10. read more

I personally have never been a fan of this chain but my kids like it so we will go on occasion for them. this location was even less impressive than others. the food was bland, the edges of the tortilla where hard due to not keeping them covered. the interior looked like it was not finished. maybe the industrial look is what they went for but it looked like they never finished it. plywood on walls. on the plus side the kids behind the counter were friendly and clean cut. read more

Place has become very stingy with regard to portion size.
