We're used to the Chipotle locations in Greenville, which are consistently clean, well-stocked, and have friendly staff who are eager to help. Unfortunately, this was the complete opposite. Everything was old. They were completely out of honey chicken, the steak was old, the other chicken was burnt, and the beans were scraped from the bottom and dried out. The lettuce was brown, the sour cream was practically liquid, and instead of replacing empty bins with fresh ingredients, the staff just kept scraping the last bits out. Trash cans were overflowing, and the whole place felt neglected. One employee even refused to make fresh food until my husband mentioned he'd call the health department. I understand that working in food service can be tough, and maybe you're miserable at your job--but that should never affect the quality of the food or how customers are treated. Consumers deserve basic cleanliness and fresh food. This location needs serious attention and accountability. read more

I got to this chipotle the workers were not friendly. They were out of white rice. fine it happens but it took them so long to get more and they weren't offering anything to their waiting customers. Then just when you think it could get worse they are out of chicken. So they say that the chicken is going to take some time and I look and it's already done on the grill. All you had to do was cut the chicken I was waiting in your store for 45 minutes. I don't know how you guys do it here but how we do it in the north is that you put a pep in your step and you cut the chicken when there's customers waiting. There was a whole line of customers. I was looking for a healthy option on my road trip from Atlanta to Raleigh/Durham, and Chipotle was all I could think of. I came here and had my normal burrito bowl. It didn't appear to me that they were running a very tight ship. The food/grill area looked dirty with pieces of lettuce, drops of salsa, etc. all in places it shouldn't be. The meats looked like they had been cooked hours ago, and the guacamole (which I usually LOVE!) was browned over and was nearly empty-- just not appetizing to look at. The dining area was also not spotless like I am used to at other locations. There was one employee going around and cleaning up, but all the other employees were chit chatting behind the food area, not even addressing the mess they had back there. The restroom could have used some attention too. Another customer pointed out that their sweet tea was empty and normal tea was almost gone. I enjoyed my meal just fine, but it wasn't up to the normal Chipotle standards I have come to expect. read more

For 3pm on a Sunday the wait was entirely too long and none of the tables were clean. Garbage cans were all overflowing with garbage stacked on top of tables as if no one had emptied them all day. It took me about a minute to get through the line ordering my food. The only thing I'd change is maybe upping the protein portions a little. Okay let me start this off by saying chipotle is one of my absolute favorite places to eat, but with that being said this specific location is absolutely terrible in every way possible. I just got done walking in to this establishment at 8:45; long before they close, and I proceeded to wait in line for about 15 minutes just to get to the front to order and have the employee tell me that they are out of every single protein option except barbacoa. This isn't just a one time occurrence either; every time I come to this location it's always something. This location is always out of something whether it be steak, chicken, white rice, queso, shredded cheese, or even tortillas. I mean for a restaurant that has to options on the menu running out of one of the two is flat out ridiculous and unacceptable. The worst part is that when it comes to the steak or other protein options the reason that they have ran out is because half of the workers are lazy teenagers who don't want to be working anyway so they just sit there and let the food run out. Not only that the workers here are incredibly rude. The management at this establishment is non existent and the entire restaurant is a train wreck. This place absolutely sucks and I would highly advise that if you are thinking of going here DON'T. read more

it was a whole mess! i asked for extra rice and they didn't give me any also it said that there would be napkins and utensils... none lol. Also, the food packaging didn't look the same as normal. and they didn't update the app to say when they were preparing the food so the whole time it said that they had the order reviewing. when i went inside they didn't have the food sitting on the mobile order rack.. it was just sitting in the back so I had to go up and ask if they had it ready and it was all along, so i waited later for the food than i already did. They close at 10. They said they were out of Queso and chips and several other things that I didn't ask for. I should have walked away right then. Only to get our food and cup, walk to drink machine to find no ice. Then there were no forks to eat with and no napkins anywhere. We asked and they shrugged and said they were out. This chipotle location is honestly terrible- especially at night. On at least 2 or 3 occasions we have ordered around 8:45-9pm (they don't close until 10) and they are always out of something. Last time they were out of steak AND chicken. Tonight they were out of the Al Pastor chicken and chips. My salad bowl barely had anything on it and the same with my husbands burrito. I love this place and the food is amazing! The only criticism that I have is that it is always packed and can take a while to get your food.
