If you have never had a professional photograph taken, I highly recommend You Studios at Balmain. It is a two step process. First you visit their studio and go nuts, have a great time! Do silly things or random things you would never have done before. I chose to get a couples photo and portrait photo taken. Then sit back and wait for the call. I was then invited back to review the photos and relive the moments again. It's amazing how they capture so many emotions in an hour. You can pick your favourite pictures and select the ones you want enlarged. I loved their perspex medium, but it was a bit expensive, so settled for a framed picture to take home. A great experience and cannot wait to try it again.

It's officially been one year today that we were finally 'handed over the keys' to our dream home…read moredesigned and built by Chateau! Hard to believe! For my husband and I it was a journey from the beginning which involved years of visualisation, a tonne of research and hours of day dreaming. We spent a great deal of time before engaging with an architect to start the design process, and selected Chateau based on their previous work, and given that they could manage the entire project in-house including design, costing and construction. Our experience with Chateau from beginning to end was really wonderful. They were able to translate what we wanted into a unique and original home and walked/talked us through the entire process. They were attentive and adaptive and were able to deliver on our 'somewhat' demanding request that we move in before Christmas - no easy feat considering we were still waiting for floorboards to be shipped in from NZ! I highly recommend Chateau - their professionalism and quality of work is second to none. The attention to detail in our home, and way our house connects perfectly with our land and the surrounding environment makes it a joyful haven to come home to each day. Don't think we'll ever be moving.. thank you to the team at Chateau!

We used ebpearls.com.au to build and manage our website…read more We exhausted much of our time to rectify many ongoing problems that in the end were too time consuming to fix and some problems that even their team couldn't fix, our customers got tired of trying to access the site and most of them just called and ordered over the phone. We were also charged miscellaneous charges that we didn't agree to and when we asked about the charges we got no response. I found the team to be very hard working and positive when trying to resolve issues but I felt that even they were frustrated with the product. I feel, after talking to many of my business associates about their websites, that we made a mistake trusting ebpearls.com.au, so do your research and explore all options before you go ahead. Just remember that it's your money and your business that you are putting on the line.

We paid Mr McArdle over $9,000 to recover unpaid commissions under a written employment contract…read more He is meant to be an accredited specialist in Employment Law. The result: absolutely nothing. He advised us to pursue an unfair dismissal claim at the Fair Work Commission. The opposing party's own lawyers pointed out in writing that the Fair Work Commission "does not have jurisdiction" over commission claims and called the proceedings "fundamentally misguided." Even Mr McArdle's own colleague - a Special Counsel at the same firm - emailed us strongly recommending that we "discontinue the unfair dismissal claim as soon as possible." Mr McArdle ignored his own colleague's advice, ignored our requests to stop, and pushed through 5 conciliation conferences over several months. The other side offered zero every single time. He then told us we would need to pay another $15,000 to continue. At our initial consultation, he had assured us the matter would be resolved quickly. When we questioned his strategy, he rarely responded to our emails. When he did respond, he blamed us for not having "definite proof" of commission - yet in his own email to the opposing lawyer he wrote that their client had been "unambiguously promising commission." He cannot have it both ways. An accredited specialist who selects the wrong legal forum, ignores his own colleague, ignores his client, and charges $9,000 for zero outcome. I strongly advise anyone to seek a second opinion before engaging this firm.
