They are friendly, responsive and I can always get in on last minute notice. Reading the bad reviews makes me so sad because they work so hard and I have found each and every one of them so friendly and good at what they do. Yes, this isn't a fancy spa- it's pretty simple, bare bones and if you're looking for the spa experience at spa prices, go to Woodhouse (where you'll probably overpay for a mediocre massage)- but if you want a consistently good, affordable massage, this is your place!

I drove in from out of state, and me and my adult daughter wanted to get a much needed muscle work. I called beforehand to make sure they had availability, and we were greeted pleasantly. However, as soon as the woman began my session, I felt like I was getting abused. She was not gently at all. It was more like rough pushing, way too hard even though I said medium pressure. She flung the sheet over me without care. She was also sick because she had to leave the room to hack up her coughing and drink water. This was not what I wanted or needed. Not worth the price either. The next 2 days, my upper back and spine was bruised. I should have filed a complaint, but hope this message speaks for itself. So disappointed and hurt.

I was impressed by the cleanliness and neatness of the store and was promptly greeted by Nana. The massage tables were heated so it was very welcome on such a cold day. Nancy asked me where I was experiencing the pain in my back and she began working on it immediately. I opted for the 90 minute massage but it felt like 20 minutes--I was so relaxed and zoned out. Nana is a true professional and an expert massage therapist. I would highly recommend Moon Spa.

My husband and I booked a couples massage here for our first massage experience, and it was…read morehonestly awful from start to finish. There was a major language barrier right away, which led to a lot of miscommunication. The staff barely spoke or understood English, and we were given no clear instructions. All they said was "get on the table" and then left the room. We weren't even sure if we were supposed to remove our underwear, and when we went to ask, one of the massage therapists walked in while my husband was fully naked -- even though we were clearly yelling "no, no, we're not ready!" It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. We specifically requested light to medium pressure, but they ignored that completely. The pressure used was excessive -- at times it felt like my shoulder was going to pop out of place. I woke up the next morning covered in bruises on my back, and I am now in serious pain. I can barely move. My husband is also in pain and very sore -- this was not a "good sore," it was a damaging experience. Despite all of this, my husband still tipped generously. But the therapist had the audacity to say the tip was "too little" and asked us to add more. It came off as greedy and made an already bad experience even worse. In total, we ended up paying $330 for a two-hour reflexology massage -- including a $30 tip we were pressured to give. Not welcoming. Not professional. Not worth it. We will absolutely not be returning.

So we both understood eachother and laughed it off. Im all for trying to make things right and not be to judgemental because just like the day I was having, she was too. Life happens! And to make it VERY clear I went that time for a 60 minute through a Groupon so it only cost me $67.50. She was very nice and gave a little extra time because again she got interrupted A LOT and had to keep stopping. I paid for my session and even tipped her $30 because again I understand life happens and we both had seen better days, so I thought. So i went again Now this time I went i paid FULL price plus a 3 dollar card fee for a 90 min session. $108 with the same lady. I wanted 3:30 they askAgain, she had to stop a few times for being interrupted, and again I didn't feel any way about it because maybe they are just busy and by the way this time i wasn't on my phone. The session ended. I was giving her a 20% tip and im not even obligated to do that. But then she looks at me and goes "oh you can tip more bigger, longer time more tip" I look at her for a second went in my wallet an i pulled out some more one dollars. I dont even remember how many because by this time i was already pissed! How do you tell someone what they can and cant "tip" its a tip! After I already paid FULL PRICE AND A FEE FOR THE SERVICE YOU PROVIDE. Im a person that likes quality over quantity. I like to stick and invest in one place and person once im settled. Im a very very loyal customer. And when I can i go above and beyond for that person because I genuinely respect what you do. Sometimes might be more then others but I always got you. I don't like to write reviews because im not that person. However this did not sit right with me at all. Im a mom, i work with the elderly on the daily in their homes and I take care of my siblings my days a long and i barely get me time. I dont want anyone else to feel like I did in that moment when your just trying to relax and escape reality for a little. And the sad part i should have went to the reviews in the beginning everyone is experiencing the same thing an all i see is them saying "im sorry we will look in to that and address it" but obviously still don't. So thats my own fault! Lesson learned the worst $130+ I spent in a very long time!!

While the waiting room and massage room were very inviting and even she was very friendly and personable, I couldn't justify rating the overall experience higher than three stars. No. No one was in the lobby / front desk area to greet me when I arrived and I was unsure of I should wander around to locate someone or perhaps knock on a random door. My therapist's technique felt sloppy and haphazard. She spent an inordinate amount of time of one side and then rushed to finish the remaining side and lower half of my body. I wondered if she lost track of time, maybe. Her pressure wasn't even and she repeated many strokes almost to a point were it was painful.
