Got a quick bite from here for dinner, chicken fried rice and Moo Goo Gai Pan. It was later when we ordered so not busy and the food was ready quickly. Staff was friendly enough. The food was okay, not really my favorite as some of the vegetables had an "off" taste. The amount of food for the money was good but overall I was not a huge fan. I will probably give it another try but something different as I have read some good reviews so will try one more time. read more

This spot used to be good. Not anymore. They hired a bunch of guatemalans to cook the food and now it tastes like it's garbage. No thanks.

Enjoyed a Chinese food dinner. Got the Chicken and Broccoli, Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Vegetable Lo Mien. Also had Hot & Sour and Wanton soup. The food was plentiful, tasteful and hot. It was also prepared very quickly. We took out our food. Will definitely be back to try others. read more

I got the seafood delight in brown sauce & the seafood was rotten. One bite and it was obvious so I spit it out but too late. Lots of smelly shrimp and imitation crab meat but both definitely spoiled. I had to throw it out. When I asked for brown sauce they gave me a dirty look. I also noticed a container of the red hot chile sauce off to the side with the lid open just sitting on some cardboard. That should've been when I walked out. Not sanitary. A real disappointment since there wasn't anything else around the Redners I wanted. The lady behind the counter was far from friendly and answered the phone while we stood there waiting to place our order. The hunan chicken was not that flavorful and the broccoli needed to cook a little longer. The general tso chicken wasn't spicy at all and actually tasted on the sweet side. She forgot to give us utensils to eat with but i keep a couple sets in the car.It was freshly cooked and temperature was very hot. We sat in the car and ate it because inside was so hot we walked outside to cool down and it was 95 degrees outside. Lunch specials only Monday thru Friday . We won't be going back. read more

I ordered their lunch special, beef and broccoli with pork fried rice. I live 20 minutes from this restaurant. When I returned home, I discovered that I had been given just brown rice. There was no pork, not even one little piece. I called the restaurant and first spoke to a woman. She said that if I wanted pork fried rice, it would have been $1 more. I told her I ordered pork fried rice and would have paid the extra $1. When I ordered it, she repeated after me....."beef and broccoli and pork fried rice", told me the price and I paid her. She then puts a man on the phone. I explained to him what I had just gone ever with her. He asked me who took my order. I described her to him. He said one of the ladies at the counter couldn't hear well. But from how he described this woman, she was not the one who took my order. He kept telling me I would have needed to pay a $1 extra for the pork fried rice. I told him I would not have had a problem with that if she had told me. He made it look like it was my fault. He showed no concern whatsoever and was non empathetic and non apologetic. It would have been nice if he had said the next time you come in, we'll make it right for the trouble. He was totally dismissive. When I had ordered, there was an older lady standing beside me. She said "these people are not very friendly at all". I didn't know at the moment what she was talking about but I found out afterwards. If you order their food and there is a problem with it, if what I experienced is their standard, don't expect them to care enough to want to fix the problem. Order at your own risk. We just moved to the area and have had difficulty finding an acceptable Chinese restaurant. Stumbling upon China Wok, We ordered wonton and egg drop soup the first time, ribs and chicken chow mein the second time and so forth. We have been pleased each time and pleasantly surprised. read more

On my road trip, I decided to get something different than my norm and decided on Chinese food. I will say, my food was tasty, and when I asked for my dish to be spicy, they delivered! I love the specials that make it a whole meal - cashew chicken, rice and an egg roll. Everything came out fast, hot and tasty. Just be prepared, the lady that served me was not very friendly. Hopefully, it was just an off day for her. My questions seemed to annoy her especially when I asked if they had ice for my iced tea, which they did not. Ordered dinner here, two standard combination items to test them out 1) beef with broccoli and 2) sesame chicken. They came with pork fried rice, which actually have pork in it and egg roll, crispy with a nice taste. Both dishes were good and happy I finally found a decent Chinese place in the area. The food is ok; the service is terrible. I made a telephone order (having gone there once before). The woman took my order. I arrived. I was told the food was not prepared. The woman stated they do not take order at 302-855-1222--although she had just done so. I explained that. She simply said, "no food." She also did not offer to take the order again. I asked to speak to the manager. In a huffed-up voice she said: "Manager not here." I asked for a way to contact the manager; she walked away. WHAT KIND OF RESTAURANT DOES NOT WANT TO SELL FOOD? I should have guessed this was a poor place to come as both times there was only one table eating--at noon time! Relatively new to the area, so we thought we'd give the local Chinese carryout place a try. It looked shoddy in the interior; no menus/pricing available, just photos of entrees on the wall. The food was awful; poor quality meat, no vegetables in the fried rice at all, just rubbery chicken and flavorless rice. Also ordered General Tso's chicken; asked for it extra spicy & when we tried it, it was just sweet. Worst Chinese food we've ever tried. read more

My husband ordered carry-out for our usual go-to chinese food: beef and broccoli, beef lo mien, fried chicken wings, and fried rice. By the time we finished our grocery shopping near-by, our order was already ready and bagged. Picked up and paid for our dinner, all in less than 5 mins! Thank goodness! Bad business. I would NOT come back to this 113 China Wok (take-out) 401 College Park Lane, Georgetown, DE 19947 restaurant ever!!! Apparently, they do illegal business by over charged my credit card without let me know. And they did this twice first on $ 20.50 bill, they charged my credit card $ 21.25. Second time on $19.25 bill, they charged $20.00. And, yet they are still demanding tips on top of it. They did all this behind your back, without your knowledge. It is a little money but still they should NOT do it. We want to pay based on price we order on menu, then we pay tips extra. Not, just slide our credit card in and punch whatever number they want. So, people watch your receipt and your money. They DON'T deserve to get a star at all. Go to a different Asian restaurant. read more

For Chinese takeout. This was the pits. The girl behind the counter had no personality and from there, nearly everything went downhill. Got takeout and returned to the Tru hotel. Found no plastic silverware provided nor any sauces, although I asked for them. Egg roll was bland; the beef was slimy and the egg drop soup was inedible. We threw it down the toilet where it belonged. Never getting my business again. read more

Used to love this place! A once-a-week treat! Not anymore! Three times now our order has been over-cooked, greasy and disgusting; and we were overcharged for the food! Tried to give them a fair chance in case it was due to training new people or some such. It seems to be bad when there are no women present behind the counter and in the kitchen. Also, they have not fixed the shattered glass in the entry door for two months. read more
