Basil Tofu

I was visiting my beloved in Colorado for Valentine's and we tried the curry shrimp, hot and sour soup and my favorite Basil Tofu. Everything was delicious. Thank you for offering such great tasting food.

Sesame chicken

We went here an hour before closing on a Friday night. The place was empty which worried me a little but we were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. I got sesame chicken and it was crispy, flavorful and enough to share. My husband got Mongolian beef and it was also delicious. We appreciated the vegetarian options they had for our friends and were happy to find a place that was good, delicious, and reasonably priced. I will definitely go again the next time we are in town.

Orange chicken, or what's left of it.

The most disgusting Chinese food of all time. Avoid at all costs. Pork was tough, beef was mushy.

Service was really slow, but the food was delicious! I have done takeout as well and it was fabulous! I suggest the chicken lo mein.

We stopped by Ito's Saturday afternoon after not being there for a couple months. Well, what a…read moredifference a couple months makes! Prices have been raised and what once was included in a hibachi lunch is now extra. Yeah, so they raised the prices a couple bucks on all entrees BUT now you DO NOT get soup, salad or the yum yum sauce included - it is all ala carte. So that couple bucks extra is for MUCH less. If you want what you once got included you will pay +$2 per entree and then +$3.50 for the salad, +$2.50 for onion soup (the yum yum was extra too, but we didn't get it so now sure on pricing). $8 price increase for the hibachi lunch! OUTRAGEOUS!!! Now that was annoying enough, but the quality was lower too! The light japanese fried rice is now loaded down with onions (not the light leeks that once speckled it). My chicken was tough. The hubby's filet was tender, but something changed with it too because he said it just wasn't the same. The veggie mix was kind of light too and filled with bok choy - which is fine, but I don't want a pile of cabbage as my side. They do not emphasize the changes. They are simply whited out on the menu. It is a great disappointment to a once beloved place. I am sure the once or twice a year my mother comes we might stop in, but it is out of our rotation. Too expensive and not as good as it once was.

Great service, good portions, good food! Affordable and quick. I had the sesame chicken:read more

**Ambiance** The…read morerestaurant itself is a decent size with plenty of seating and large booths, so it would be comfortable for families or larger groups. **Service** Service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The staff spoke English as well as either Cantonese or Mandarin, which initially gave me high hopes for the food. **Food** I won't lie--I came in with pretty moderate expectations. After chatting with the staff in both Mandarin and Cantonese, I thought we were in for a really authentic meal. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We ordered five dishes, and it quickly became apparent that the food is heavily catered toward American tastes. Several dishes contained ingredients that traditionally wouldn't be included, while other key ingredients were missing altogether. The biggest issue for me was the sweetness. Three of the five dishes were noticeably sweet, which isn't what I expected from the dishes we ordered. The standout dish of the meal was the Mongolian Beef. It was flavorful and wasn't overly sweet. That said, it lacked the spice I typically associate with the dish. The Mapo Tofu was probably the biggest surprise. It was missing the ground pork that usually gives the dish so much flavor and texture. Instead, it included bell peppers, onions, and water chestnuts--ingredients I've personally never seen in Mapo Tofu. Rather than being spicy and numbing, the dominant flavor was sweetness. The Chicken Pan-Fried Noodles were difficult to enjoy. The sauce was very sweet, and the noodles were cooked to the point where they were tough and chewy. Instead of the thinner noodles commonly used for this dish, they used thick noodles that reminded me more of lo mein. We also ordered a Beef and Scallion dish. It felt more like a beef chop suey variation with scallions added. The scallions themselves were cooked perfectly, but once again the sauce leaned much sweeter than expected. The Hot and Sour Soup was actually the first item to arrive. I jokingly told my family that if the soup wasn't good, I might be worried about the rest of the meal because hot and sour soup is one of those dishes that really showcases balance and technique. Unfortunately, it ended up confirming my concerns. It lacked the bold sour and spicy flavors that make the dish so enjoyable. By the end of the meal, we had a lot of leftovers. The only items we brought home were the Mongolian Beef and a few pieces of beef picked out from the Beef and Scallion dish. **Overall** This restaurant may appeal to diners who enjoy sweeter, Americanized Chinese food, but it wasn't for me. Based on this visit, I wouldn't return, and I wouldn't personally recommend it to anyone looking for the flavors and dishes I grew up eating.
