Went here a few weeks ago ordered $33 worth of food, I used card knowing there was a fee for using card which is fine but when I paid for my food the cashier insisted that it didn't go thru even though I showed proof of my Cash App saying I paid china one 33$. They refused me my food until I paid again. They ended up taking 66$ and told me the money will go back on my card in a day when it finalized. I had to call cashapp to get my money back. Restaurant was dirty. One of the cooks came in from smoking a cigarette did not wash hands continued to prepare food. Had the lobby smelling like cigarettes and burnt oil. Worst meal I've tried eating. I got sesame chicken with veg fried rice. The broccoli tasted like the underside of the counter i couldn't even swallow it. Chicken had ok texture flavor was 2/10 threw the whole meal out because i dont want to be sick on the toilet tonight. read more

Been past this place frequently in the evenings, and there is frequently a stream of people entering and leaving with their takeout orders. Today, my coworker and I needed to get something light and quick for lunch and, oddly, I was in the mood for Chinese. We weren't disappointed: our food was good, it was served quickly, it tasted good. I don't know how a lunch special is only fried rice and the entree item but that's what we got. It seems like lunch specials usually include an egg roll or a drink but these did not. No matter: we left satisfied with our choice. Was it the best Chinese food we've had? No. Was there anything wrong with it? Also no. It was just a good tasting, convenient, quick meal. I'd go back. read more

Average fast-food. First time here for a quick bite. Service was fast and food quality about average IMO for Americanized Chinese fast food. I'd probably try it again if I'm passing through the area. I ordered chicken with garlic combo plate, pork egg rolls, and fried wontons. The filling in the egg rolls were less than average and the wonton skin was thicker than I prefer but overall OK. For strip mall Chinese everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered. I had a very large order togo. Surprisingly it did not take a long time for them to pull it all together. Everything was correct. There was utensils in the bag and along with enough of the normal condiments that you would expect to find. The place was average clean for this style restaurant. If you are looking for a constant carry-out place you should do ok here. read more

I stopped in at China One for lunch takeout recently on the way back home from Gettysburg. This is a typical strip plaza Chinese takeout place with open kitchen and a few tables for eating in. The menu offerings include the standard Americanized Chinese dishes/items at reasonable prices, most items under $10 each. 30 Lunch Specials (4.95-$5.95) served with pork fried rice and 22 Special Combination Plates ($6.95-$7.95) served with pork fried rice & egg roll are also offered here. I ordered the :L9 Shrimp Mixed Vegetable ($5.50) with pork fried rice., which was ready to go in under 10 minutes. The main dish was mostly fresh vegetables including broccoli, carrots, snow peas, cabbage, and a few soft shrimp, the flavor was lacking. The fried rice (yellow color) had a soft texture with traces of peas and carrots and a few small pork pieces. The food was okay overall. read more

The sauce is deliciously sweet with just a tiny kick, the chicken is perfectly crispy, and it's loaded with yummy vegetables. Simply good food! I've been here several times over the past few months and we are very satisfied with the quality of the food, and the quantity of the portions all at a fair price. We enjoy a good Gen. Tso's etc! and it seemed that the local restaurants were not using or cooking the best chicken. We are very pleased with all the meals we tried along with the side especially the egg rolls. Their Lo mien is rich with flavor and contains an ample amount of ingredients. Goods Job! read more

Pros: -The prices are good, roughly a dollar below comparable restaurants -Food was good Cons: -Did not include as much food in combo meal as comparable restaurants do -must explicitly ask for extras (soy sauce, duck sauce etc) - This food made me sick as a dog the next day, and I'm not talking your normal post chinese food dump. Used to be ok but the last few times we bought food there we were very disappointed. Recently, the wonton soup broth was sour and the pork lo mein was mushy with an off flavor. Hope the food improves because we live close by. Service was speedy & friendly.... to say something positive. read more
