Whenever I want Chinese food, I always choose here! They are fast, the staff are nice, and have even gotten to know my order over time! Every time I get the general tso chicken, white rice, and an egg roll and it is THE BEST! I totally recommend this place! read more

Delicious food, friendly staff, and quick service. One of our favorite spots for Chinese takeout!

0 stars. STAY SWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I have ordered the same amount of food from Chinatown located in Lansdale and China moon charged me $80. Chinatown charged me $34. China moon is not worth it. Overpriced and food was bland and tasteless. The chicken wings were re fried about 5x. Nothing was fresh and it wasn't even 2 bags full of food. AWFUL read more

I ate in house---a big mistake! The table was sticky, the only salt and pepper shakers in the dinning room (4 tables) were sticky. There were no napkins in any of the dispensers. I order the lunch special of pork lo mien. It was strangely tasteless. The accompanying fried rice was even less favorable. Visually I would have guessed it to be yellow rice. This was a mistake not to be repeated. read more

If I could give zero, or NEGATIVE stars I would. Run-----far away from this dump. We ordered $50 of food and they neglected to give us any sweet and sour sauces with our appetizers (crab rangoon and fried shrimp which ALWAYS come with sides of sauces!), plus they neglected to include any chinese crunchy noodles-----AGAIN which anywhere I have gone since I was born have given at least two bags with a huge order like ours, AND to top it all off? Scheisters did give us any fortune cookies!!! What a crappy, awful, waste of money I do not even have to be spending. It was supposed to be a celebration meal for a hellish week and this made it wayyyyy worse. read more

Very high quality and very fast. Even something as simple as wonton soup tastes like it's made from a real stock. Fresh vegetables everytime and quality meat and poultry. read more

I made a friend. His name is Richard. Richard is a fly. He is one of many that has been living in China Moon for his whole life. Judging by his wingspan, he is about 10 days old. We first met when I stopped in to China Moon to get some lunch. I placed my order for a General Tso's chicken lunch combo. The indifferent lady behind the register asked me to have a seat. I felt so bad that I'd disturbed her in this completely empty restaurant where an unbussed table sat for about 10 minutes after I'd walked in...anyhow, once I'd selected a table, Richard flew by my ear, making a quick introductory "Bzzzz." I turned to see where he had gone and that's when I noticed the bodies. You see, Richard was asking for my help. Dozens of his brothers and sisters had died trying to cross "The Great Barrier." This barrier was the glass facade of the restaurant. It was an intimidating 1/8 of an inch thick and impenetrable to any member of Richard's family. The motionless, lifeless corpses of many flies littered the ground near the barrier. Richard wanted freedom from the barrier for himself and his people. It seemed impossible. Yet, despite the daunting task, the flies pressed on. They believed that by continually crawling up and down the barrier and sporadically flying into it, one of them would get through. Richard appreciated China Moon's staff neglecting to clean out the corpses of those who have died before, as they serve to remind him exactly what he is fighting for. As my food was brought out(and no beverage of any sort was offered), Richard made a final plea for help(by walking a very clumsy figure 8). I murdered him with a napkin because I did not want to be bothered by a fly while I was eating lunch. Had he not been made lethargic by constant meals of heavy Chinese food, he might have been fast enough to avoid my fatal attack. Our friendship did not last. We were from different worlds. I went to the counter and purchased a bottle of water. The General Tso's chicken is pretty typical for a Chinese takeout place. To their credit, the chicken chunks are in small pieces so the fried-breading-per-bite is high. This is good because the gelatinous nature of the chicken would probably come out more if the pieces were larger. The vegetable spring roll tasted like it had just come out of the oven from one of those boxes in the frozen section that mom used to get from Sam's club. tl;dr - Indifferent service. Mediocre food. Flies. On the action-movie-parallel-satisfaction-scale, this place is Dead and Breakfast. read more

I went there tonight for the first time seeing all of the yelp reviews and felt that I needed to share my experience. First the son? Of the owner took my order and he was super friendly for maybe a 12 year old? Next the order came out in 10 minutes and the lady rang me up. Super friendly and was able to have small talk about business and the holidays. I ordered General tsos chicken and it was amazing amongst other things. I give the place 5 stars and will definitely go back. read more

Great lomein, great fried rice, great egg roll.. delicious, fast, good price. Very happy tummy.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. I'd rather eat a can of dog food than eat from here ever again. It's the second time I've tried it...the first time caused severe stomach cramps, gas, etc...I assumed it was just me. Alas, the same thing has occurred once again. The food itself is bland and not fresh tasting at all. If you're smart, STAY AWAY! read more

Great quick Chinese food. Awesome combos.

Awesome Chinese food. Very fast. Staff is always super sweet, would highly recommend!

Favorite local chinese!! We have tried all the area places and nothing compares. GREAT food. Never had a problem. I always require changes (I don't eat pork or onions, don't like celery in my cashew chicken) and they always accommodate. I find the staff friendly. read more

Good chinese for really cheap, can't go wrong! Love the boneless ribs and wonton soup.

Well, first off, Brad is clueless. The place is clean, and well kept. The fact that he talks to flies tells me this is not someone whose opinion you should seek. Second, having moved here from NYC, I can tell you this is the best Chinese restaurant in a 20 mile radius. The rest are this watered down tasteless crap that only a country Pennsylvanian could love. If you're a local, and have been all your life, this place might not be for you. You may want to seek out something with less taste, for twice the price. If however you made the mistake of moving to this area from a place that actually does serve good food, as I have, this is the restaurant for you. Let the natives enjoy their Wawa hoagies and other cuisine that may suit their tastes. Best dishes: Chicken w/mixed veggies, Pepper steak, and pork fried rice. The egg rolls are also the best in the area, hands down. read more

the food is our favorite chinese in the area but the lady who answers the phone is so quick and doesnt follow up at the end of ordering to make sure shes got everything right and has messed up the order twice now. read more

On my first visit, I was welcomed by co-proprietor Vivian and seated at a table facing the Landis Center parking lot. hungry and not wishing to waste time, I ordered lunch special C9, chicken with Chinese vegetables, which came with pork fried rice and an appetizer of Wonton soup. The Wonton dumplings were especially meaty and tasty, obviously made that morning and submerged in liquid just long enough to heat them without turning the wrapping soggy. My entree came steaming hot, so hot I borrowed a pencil and while waiting for the dish to cool down showed the proprietors which items on their menu take a plural "s" and which don't. (Doing so I realized out where the Chinese got their predilection for leaving off the "s" of "noodle" and other plurals--they'd been buying Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup long before they'd arrived in this country.) In addition to eight or ten large pieces of white breast chicken, my entree included crisp red and green pepper slices, mushrooms, celery, onions, and of course bamboo shoots. All components were fresh and very tasty. Notably, the dish's sauce was mild enough to not overwhelm the taste of the components, and the whole meal, including Wonton broth, seemed lower in sodium and MSG than usual. The pork fried rice accompanying the entree was nothing to write home about, however; some of the rice grains had even hardened in the air. Portions were adequate, reflecting the economical $5.95 price tag for the meal. Dinner specials, a dollar more across the board, come with egg roll and presumably larger portions. In addition to the usual specials, there are three tall pages of offerings for the hungrier and more adventurous. Compared to the other two Chinese restaurants in the Harley vicinity, China Moon stands out prominently as the best---and the best for your restaurant dollar as well. read more
