Let me start with wishing Ming and Kim the very best and reporting that I am willing to give the new owners a chance. Except, I love my favorites. Great news, the recipe for Crispy Shrimp with black bean sauce has been shared (item #14 on the Chinese Traditon[sic] Food portion of the menu). Regrettably Crispy Chicken w black pepper and sesame oil (same part of the menu #37) still needs tweaking. No more oranges. Interior is unchanged. Willing to go back as I prepare to search out the Beef with black bean curd.

If you see the little black thing in the middle of the squid I am holding...that is they eye/teeth of the squid.

We ordered house special fried rice, house special lomein, salt n pepper squid, general tsos chicken, sweet n sour chicken, and eggrolls. First, they dont have menu anywhere online. Saw the pictures of menu on yelp and turned out the prices were about $2-$4 more for each dishes. If I knew that, I wouldn't order this much...I understand there is inflation but it is deceiving when you don't have updated menu anywhere online and the ones that were uploaded as pics are $2-$4 less than the actual price. When I picked up my food, the restaurant was in complete chaos. Dirty and disorganized. Tables full of dirty dishes and old food were everywhere. Their register counter had long printed receipts from the register that was just hanging there...it was cluttered and dirty. Now let's talk about the actual food. Fried rice was BLAND. Salt and pepper squid? the squid wasnt prepper correctly. They eye/teeth on the squid was still attached on it - it wasnt even a full squid with the head. And some of the squid were soggy and suspiciously undercooked maybe? The texture was off and I kind of didnt want to eat it anymore. The general tsos chicken was tough and dry. Couldn't even eat it at all. The sweet and sour chicken was alright...nothing too amazing about it. The lomein and the eggroll was actually the best tasting out of everything and for that they got 3/10 for me. I spent about $86 ish for all of this. Was it worth it? nope. Am i going to come back again in the future? absolutely not.

Just went back again tonight. Amazing food. Chinatown and flushing can't beat this place. Worth the 360mile drive from NYC just to have a piece of heaven (round trip). Pass on the sea bass. Stick w flounder. New dishes this time: salt n peppa pork chop and shrimp in black bean sauce. God damn! They ran out of salt n peppa squid tonight which is usually my fave. Going back tomorrow. I went back again for lunch this time sticking w the legendary crispy flounder and salt n peppa squid. This is the most tender squid you will ever eat. My mouth was having a party and all my favorite flavors were invited. Jumbo Shrimp in black bean sauce... who brought fire works to the party!! The 2 star reviewer who was ordering hot n sour soup, you should be ashamed of yourself. That's like going to Peter Lugers, ordering a chicken salad, and giving a 2 rating cuz you wanted more MSG. Please stick w moon star or some other fast food Chinese joint if you gonna order that crap. As for the comments on the long wait times, it's true unfortunately but great food takes time. The chef, despite his constant yelling, cooks every dish as though it was for the NY Times. He could easily pump out dishes quicker but I thank him for not doing so. Take your time my man - I'll take consistency with a side of perfection.

    Black bean curd. Not bad.

Interesting "experience". Most of the tables were dirty when we arrived. The woman had to clean one off for us. Then she gave us silverware fried noodles off another table. Noodles were a little stale. There was only one other table occupied, but we waited 10 minutes to receive menus. The server up-sold me on a dish I wasn't considering ordering "black bean curd". Ultimately I think I would have been happier with something else. My dining companion was very happy with her chicken dish. You can tell that the quality of food is very good. They just don't seem too concerned with moving quickly or keeping things tidy. I would eat here again and try some different things.

"China Late"- The food is generally good. Sometimes if it is a busy hour, it takes one hour for bringing up your ordered food. China Late:)

We discovered this place last year when my son started at Binghamton University, and now that he lives at UClub, it's incredibly convenient since the restaurant is right there. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a traditional Chinese theme and feels spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of seating. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. We consistently order the spicy beef noodle soup, the regular beef noodle soup, and the spicy fish fillets with tofu. The broth is rich, deep, and full of flavor, and the beef is perfectly tender. The spicy fish fillets with tofu is my go‑to dish. Just think of a spicy fish version of mapo tofu, and you won't be disappointed. If you're visiting the Binghamton area, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The menu was…read moreoverwhelming, but our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and was able to steer us in the direction we wanted to go. It's one of the most authentic-tasting Szechuan meals I have ever had. My only negative is I got fried rice for $2, and it was very lackluster. The dishes we had were unlike anything we've had, and so memorable! Intense flavor with lots of depth and spice, and all the vegetables and tofu in the dry pot entree were cooked so well. I wouldn't get this as take out- the dry pot presentation was half the fun! Our other dish was chicken soupy style, which had an incredible spicy chili oil sauce that went well with plain rice. It was nicely decorated with the decor continuing into the restrooms. For those interested, it had a very family-friendly restroom with baby changing station. I learned that they have a location in Syracuse as well. Definitely give it a try and go for something special!
