This is the spot for take out. The food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. The shrimp and vegetables are always cooked properly which means they definitely know what they're doing! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Hunan Beef is a solid option. read more

This is the best Chinese food I have found in GJ! Service is fast, food is really good from across the whole menu.

The gal working the front counter is always very sweet and has great customer service skills. I've gotten takeout here a couple times and haven't been disappointed once. The food is good and very fairly priced. A new favorite for me and my fiancé. read more

That was the most disappointing meal I have ever eaten before... fried rice tasted like old nasty greasy, egg rolls were mush, and the "sweet and sour chicken or shrimp".... not what I thought it was when I ordered it....very overpriced and no fountain drinks? I dont really want to go out too eat and be forced too only have a plastic bottle of soda first and last time eating here... how they have any business at all is shocking....panda express all the way for me read more

I had a cup of egg soup and miso, no the greatest. The egg soup was salty/not the best. The miso was very seaweed tasting and had an extremely large seaweed piece as well. It was also over priced. Would no come here again. read more

China jade has amazing food, friendly staff and always fast. I love going there on nights I don't want to cook. I love that it's family owned and operated. Alana and her family are so sweet. I highly recommend this place. read more

This place is always great! Have been coming here since my sophomore year of high school back in 2018 and this place has never let me down. The prices have always been reasonable and great, especially for a student on a low budget. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming and even after a long period of not coming they still remember who you are. The food is always warm and always hits the spot. read more

Flat noodles with beef stew r chicken is my fave here and I like the fried shrimp. The sauce to thing is fried shrimp I like puffy but they flatten these like most Chinese fast foods now. But good for takeout or delivery, Not much dining space there. read more

Basic cheap Chinese food that's served a need for a hot meal. The location doesn't help make it more inviting/ staying locally and wish I wasn't. read more

Probably one of the best places for takeout. The food is always amazing. Great prices and great service.

We ordered veggie fried rice. Orange chicken, yum yum noodles. The rice was horrible with hardly any veggies, no egg, and rice is just orange colored no flavor whatsoever. Orange chicken was good, serving size very very small and not worth the price. Noodles were spaghetti noodles. Yuk! read more

What happened to this place? I used to order from here all of the time. Haven't in a couple of years and was driving out that way and decided to do a pickup order. It was TERRIBLE! The rice was yellow. Like food coloring yellow. I ordered cashew chicken and couldn't even eat it. It was so bad. The restaurant was dirty when we went inside to pickup. Will never go back! Save your money. read more

Best Chinese food in town!!!!! The people are very friendly and the service is quick. Lone me some China Jade!

Disappointing, lo mein had 3 pieces of cabbage and a few chunks of chicken. No sweet and sour with my egg rolls. I guess you have to order and pay extra. Pricing wasn't great. I paid $16 for basically noodles. read more

Ugh so pick up order...sent the wrong entree. I ordered chicken chow mein and received a brick of soggy chicken, iceberg lettuce, carrots, and onions. When I called to ask what happened, she told me the wonton crisps that garnish egg drop soup we ordered should work for my noodles...WTH??? Order total was $40 with tip for 2 entrees, egg drop soup, and crab rangoons. All the food was bad, re-microwaved tasting. Only one rice was given instead of 2 for the 2 entrees. Pretty gross. Just told them we wouldn't be back since it's actually in Clifton nearly. read more

China Jade - Yuck - Chinese Near Me - Grand Junction, Colorado

The best in the Grand Valley. I love their food. I always get the veggie egg foo young. The shrimp with lobster sauce is also amazing. I recently moved to the Redlands and I no longer live right next to China jade. I miss my weekly meals. Whenever I come visit my daughter I make sure I get my egg foo young fix. Lol. It's a must try. read more

Best Chinese food in the valley, I have tried them all..Their food is very tasty and wholesome

This is a small restaurant primarily for take out. But it does have some tables too. Service was quick and friendly. Order was ready when they said. General Tso Chicken was OK. Chicken pieces were nice size for eating and not over-breaded. I prefer it more tangy than this version, but this was still enjoyable. And there was a bit more broccoli than I like, but great for you broccoli hounds. Definitely worth exploring more of their menu. I will be back. At this point, I am glad they are nearby. read more

First and foremost, the service is absolutely unmatched, everyone was helpful and friendly. We went there on a whim and ordered beef pad thai, sesame chicken, and hot & sour soup. Everything was made fresh when we placed our order (except the soup, I assume). The broccoli with the sesame chicken was fresh and crisp (I hate when broccoli is over cooked). The soup was delicious and had a ton of flavor and the beef pad thai was amazing. If you're looking for fresh take-out and exceptional customer service, this is your place. This was our first visit and we're definitely going to be regulars. I noticed the menu also has very inexpensive lunch deals. I can't wait to try more of their dishes. read more

We had a great meal meal for a low cost! Our family ordered the Happy Meal w/rice, sweet n sour shrimp w/rice, shrimp pad Thai, shrimp lo mein, crab wontons, egg drop soup, and some sodas for $70. The sides of rice were an entire plate! This will easily last the family for another meal and they served us very quickly. Looks like a dive, but I will definitely go there again! read more

OK, right up front, not "authentic" Chinese food. This is a take out joint. But I like it and I like that it is nearby. I love Chinese food on every level - from very esoteric dishes to 50's style Chinese American. If it tastes good - I will chow it down. I can't speak to delivery because I never do that. Too impatient!! I call in my order, get in my car, and it is ready the second I get there. I have to say - some things are better than others. And some of the cooks are better than others. I got a couple of really good meals and a couple of kinkers! My favorites on the menu: House special rice noodles (never overcooked, nice and garlicky, good veggies, shrimp, pork etc), Fried wontons (I am a sucker for these, crunchy bits of goodness to be dipped in sauce or put into my soup!), Mixed veggie soup (nice broth with lots of crisp veggies like broccoli, napa cabbage, carrots, baby corn, mushrooms, etc), Beef and broccoli, chicken with curry sauce. Not as good for me: Mu Shu Pork (it is listed in the spicy side of the menu, which should have warned - mushu isn't usually spicy and I don't love it that way. Plus the "pancakes" are not really pancakes), Chow Mein (don't judge me, some places this is the hidden gem of yummy stir fried fresh crunchy veggies and occasionally real noodles). Anyway, you can find real gems on the menu - and they are amazingly inexpensive. Love that. Also - great on the phone and in person. Good business folk! read more

This place is the dirtiest restaurant in the Grand Valley. I ordered lo mein and there was a cockroach in my food!!!!!! Seriously, I overheard an employee point out to a lady working there maybe the owner, anyway the young man pointed out something bad in the food and the lady just picked it out and threw it in the trash and continued to use that disgusting and contaminated food. There are so many better places to eat in town without getting sick from this dirty place. I'd recommend stopping by City market and just getting frozen food to this place...it really is that bad. read more

OK so this place is by no means a sit down diner with the atmosphere or authentic Chinese food. That being said..... For what it is.... And it's fast food Chinese...... It's decent. They make the food to order so it's piping hot, so that's a bonus. The lady at the front counter was laughing and made it seem Ike she was actually glad you were there, and for me that makes a mildly decent meal that much more worth it. Bottom line is this.... Will I come back when I want fast cheap Chinese food? Yes I will. read more

China Jade - Walk-in, order, walk out. Quick, cheap, easy. - Chinese Near Me - Grand Junction, Colorado

Very good food. We stopped after returning from Grand Mesa and were pretty hungry as we hadn't eaten all day. Portions are good size and food is not greasy like other Chinese food experiences. The lady working the front (didn't get her name) was very pleasant and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend this place for quick, affordable Chinese food. read more

This place is amazing very underrated place food is amazing service was amazing very good deal for the price

The crab cheese wontons are the best around, and service is welcoming and fun. Great place for lunch on the run.

Food was ready fast and fresh had a great flavor pricing doesn't hurt the wallet ether!

Great food, great portions. We moved away from Junction a couple years ago and whenever we visit we HAVE to eat here. Best place in town!!!

You have got to be kidding, "best in town". When I order "Chinese", I don't expect there to be alot of "filler" in the dish. Filler is the stuff they put in to complete the order with things that are not in the name of what you ordered. Such as, celery, carrots, water chestnuts, green pepper, etc. These item can be in there to add flavor, but they should not be the primany ingrediants. When I go to a new "Chinese" place I usually order Kung Pao Shrimp and Beef and Broccoli as a test. Every Chinese place has these dishes. I ordered the large size/quart container of each. The Kung Pao Shrimp contained 14 small shrimp, 150 size, a handful of peanuts or about 20-25. The other 80% of the dish was filler, in order of amount, celery, carrots, green pepper, water chestnuts and the little corn on the cobs. No onion??? Not exactly Kung Pao Shrimp is it??? Really, 14 shrimp in a quart container. The Beef and Broccoli had about 20% beef and the remaining 80% was broccoli. Not exactly Beef and Broccoli is it???. Maybe if it was called Broccoli and Beef. The reason that Shrimp and Beef are in the name is because it is supposed to be the main ingrediant in the dish. But there is one container saving item, the rice was 100% rice!!! Restaurants have to do better, and people should not accept this quality of food. The flavor was bland for both dishes, even the Kung Pao Shrimp, which is supposed to be a little spicy. There are many other better places to go. Their prices were about average, and for what is put into the dish, the price was too high, it was no bargain. Nearby there is another Chinese restaurant, and for the same amount or a buck or two more the food is so much better. Sorry, but for this restaurant it's, been there, done that. I will not be back. read more

Great food! We ate in the restaurant. Good sweet and sour chicken. Friendly and quick service.

worst food I have ever gotten for a place like that I order the chicken on a stick and shrimp lo mien the chicken was like a year old dry out and tough, to hard to eat the lo mien was really gross it had a really bad smell I paid 18 dollars for it and had to throw all of it out it was disgusting read more

We have eaten here two other times and food was good. This time our food was awful, EXCEPT for the hot and sour soup which is outstanding. I had a shrimp, scallop and crab dish, the shrimp and scallops were rubbery and the crab was imitation crab, which the menu did not say. My husband ordered a chicken and beef dish, Phoenix?, the chicken was fried beyond belief, just chew, chew, chew to try and eat it and it was all stuck together from the sauce. We ordered online for pick up at 4:15 pm, which was 45 mins away. I think it was cooked as soon as the order came through and sat for more than a half hour before we picked it up. Probably won't be going back. read more
