Absolutely horrible service and after 10+ years of eating here, I am done. This is the third delivery in a row that I specifically asked for hot mustard packets ONLY and told them I don't need soy sauce or duck sauce. I got 3 hot mustard packs for a meal for 3 people and hand full of the stuff I told them I didn't want. If this happened once I wouldn't say anything but this is the third time. The last time this happened I called in and asked them to have the driver bring more out, the manager said no. But I could drive to their location to pick them up. What the hell sense does that make to have food delivered if I have to go pick up the sauces I specifically asked for. It seems intentional at this point and I'm done with their crappy service. read more

Who puts fish sauce on Mongolian beef? The answer is these guys do. If you want authentic Chinese food do not go here go to forbidden city hands down. Egg roll was good and lo mein but a poor version of Mongolian beef. Probably would not go back. read more

Sha Cha Chicken (spicy if requested), Sesame noodles,Pineapple Chicken (what I consider"Sweet-&-Sour") & Edamame (Old Bay= genius!) are all winners. Lunch & Dinner boxes are great. They even substitute Spring Roll for me (instead of egg roll {shellfish allergies!) Don't forget to tell them how many sets of chopsticks--we get extras for sharing! The food had absolutely no flavor and I ordered sesame chicken with white meat and got what appeared to be stringy intestines. I can only assume it was chicken. The eggrolls were horrible. I so will not go back here ever again read more

Overall great dining experience. Our family of four ended up here on a busy Friday night after several attempts to find parking downtown and long wait lists elsewhere. The parking here was ample, the restaurant was quiet and clean, and our server was very good. We were glad we decided to eat in. Three in our family got the dinner special which is available until 10 p.m. each night. For $9.95 it came with a main dish, fried or white rice, an egg roll, and soup. The orange chicken, General Tso's, and lo-mein were all delicious, but the special that night, the basil chicken, was the stand out. The dish of sauteed white chicken, basil, onions, and green peppers was light, yet flavorful. The portions were big but we were happy to take home the leftovers. We will be back either eating in or for takeout. read more

I read the reviews and tried to be open minded, but I paid the price. One out of the four items I ordered was good, one was edible with extra soy sauce and the other two were terrible. We are new in town so we have been trying all of the chinese places in town, the only thing for certain is this will not be the one. Maybe if you're forced to eat here or getting the rest of your food in the plaza, try the beef on a stick. read more

Just wanted some take out lunch while visiting relatives in the area. The man at the desk was rude and acted like he could care less about my order. I even asked him if he was having a bad day. He said "why" didn't change his expression or even try to smile so I said he seemed irritated and he just grunted and turned away. And the rice was dry. This used to be the Westminster Chinese restaurant of choice for my friends and myself, but I'm almost positive that I got violent food poisoning here from the sesame chicken dinner combo. It may have been from something else I ate that day, but my friend also got food poisoning after eating here 6 months prior to my China Inn-cident... also with a chicken dish. Again, maybe coincidence, maybe not. The food tastes great so that's why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 (benefit of the doubt) but none of my friends and I will ever go back. China Inn does a huge delivery business; this is not haute cuisine, it's Chinese takeout. We rely on their lo mein; my husband and daughter go for the house version which has a variety of meat, including shrimp. I like the chicken. We've gotten entrees like General Tso's chicken or orange chicken, not extraordinary, but satisfying and better than cooking! What do you expect from a restaurant that will pack your dinner in a cardboard carton and drive it on over? Try China Inn when you need something brought to the door. read more

This was absolutely disgusting. Revolting possibly. I hate writing bad reviews. But I also hate spending money on things that go right into my trash can. I got the pulled Szechuan chicken and spring rolls. The spring rolls were soggy and very bready with hardly any fillers. The "pulled chicken" was pieces of slimy chicken that was probably frozen chicken thawed then tossed in sauce. It was entirely inedible. I did enjoy the white rice though. No, it isn't haute cuisine- but they do a darn good job on the basics and they have added some good things to the menu to keep it interesting- like wow- Singapore rice noodles are the bomb! If an option of 0 out of 5 stars could be given, that would be what they deserve. We ordered quite a large amount of food, and kindly asked for a decent amount of duck sauce to accompany the food. When received, there was only 1 packet of duck sauce for all the food we ordered. We called to ask for more duck sauce and the owner yelled at us. He eventually said that the sauce would arrive later. We asked for new crab rangoons also because they would be cold by the time that the sauce came. He then hung up. After 1 hour, we called back again because no one showed up, and and he continued to lash out. He said that he would replace the rangoons if we dug through the trash to get the cold ones that we threw away. We then hung up. No food in the world is worth that horrible customer service that was given to us. read more

I was surprised to read the other reviews. We must rely on delivery food more than most people and have found that the China Inn serves consistently good, fresh food. Some of our favorites include the following dishes.The Beef on a Stick appetizer is tender and flavorful and the Spring Rolls are crispy, although they have a somewhat dull taste. Our two favorite entrees are the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and the Moo Shu Pork. The Lobster Sauce has a good consistency and is salted just right, and the shrimp are firm and fresh. Many restaurants serve a watery sauce and mushy shrimp. The Moo Shu Pork has good, al dente vegetables and juicy pork. It has a good overall taste especially when rolled in the pancakes. Other dishes also have been satisfying and freshly cooked. I think their delivery service takes longer than other places because they don't just serve food that has been sitting around all day. Considering the restaurant type and price range of the China Inn, we gave it four stars. read more
