Our first time and I actually went off if positive reviews. I was very pleased. Great service but know this is a small restaurant in a strip mall not a gourmet place. The food is Good prices Reasonable and portion Great. The Happy Family is Great we tried Egg Drop Wontin Soup Good . We had Happy Family Great. We had Egg Rolls OK Seafood Delight Great we brought home food had lunch next day. I am going back and this will be my choice period. Easy parking as well. read more

I always get the sushi, but the California rolls have a fishy taste to them. I will not get the California anymore, but Philadelphia roll is pretty good friendly people, but some of the food is questionable. read more

Used door dash tonight. Ordered: brocolli chicken, shrimp & vegetables & chicken curry. I love curry...this was dissapointing...not much sauce & lots of uncooked celery. Every time you order online they mess the order up. Order white rice, you get yellow rice with peas and carrots. Ask for soy sauce and duck sauce. Nothing in the bag. This place uses minor children to run in front of the house. These 10-year-olds could care less if your order is right. This should violate CHILD LABOR LAWS!!!!!!! Some food tastes rancid, eggrolls are fried in old grease and the inside of the eggroll is oil soaked soggy. This place is pitiful. read more

I wasted $10 on something inedible. The menu is not specific on what you will get; it has no pictures of the choices so you are going off of your own knowledge of the product. The chicken is not what you expect chicken to be, it has a rubbery texture. Just go to Panda Express. read more

We are visiting the area and found them on Yelp. Reviews were good overall, so we went. Mistake! I have NEVER been so rudely treated. When we ordered we told the waiter it was not to go. The "waiter" was a young man (maybe a 15). He told us the food would be served in to go containers. Not an issue. I'm sure they have staff shortages, like everyone else. Prep time was fairly quick. When he delivered the food, not only was it in to go containers, it was bagged. One of the items we ordered was Mu Shu Pork. There were no plates and the Mu Shu was not rolled. We picked up the bag and had to go to the store to buy paper plates and bowls (also ordered soup) and went back to the hotel. Food was so-so at best. Hot and Sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Mu Shu pancakes were apparently frozen and then microwaved. They were folded in quarters and hard. One was not even useable. I would NOT recommend them unless you want to be treated like a pest instead of a customer. read more

Based on what I've had in 3 visits, this is the best place for Chinese in Shawnee - I'd say one of the best in OK if you're looking a traditional Chinese restaurant. The crab Rangoon and fried dumplings are divine. And the sesame chicken comes with broccoli and is unlike any you've probably had. And the standard fried rice that you get with your meal has peas, carrots, onion and bits of Chinese spareribs. This is a family business and the service is great. I look forward to exploring more items on the menu. read more

The service is incredible. The very first time I called, I asked to place a carryout order and was told that they were closed. I said thanks and told them that I'd try them again some other time. The employee on the other end of the line said no, I'll cook for you, and took my order. I was then advised that since they were closed and locked up that they would deliver once they were done for the night. I didn't believe it, but about forty minutes later the owner delivered my order, and it was amazing. I have been in several times since then and the owners are incredibly friendly and have remembered my complicated order since my second visit. The food is always amazing and I have yet to be disappointed. This is hands down the best in Shawnee. read more

A true needle in a haystack. Fresh authentic Chinese food in Shawnee, OK. The China House is a smaller establishment tucked away in a strip mall. The family that owns it is extremely nice and accommodating. The wife is the chef and she made me an amazing off item meal, which consisted of braised chicken, tofu soup, and veggie southern Chinese noodles. Everything was well full flavored, hot, and fresh. They offer a take out menu and free delivery to nearby hotels. A nice change from the typical eateries in Town. read more

After a long day on the road cross-country, we just wanted a small dinner - something tasty and quick. My vegetarian wife had vegetable spring rolls and I had pork egg roll and fried meat dumplings. The vegetable spring rolls and the fried dumplings were both quite good, but the pork egg roll was the best eggroll I've ever had anywhere. I would go back anytime i'm near here and get a dozen of them. read more
