Living most of the year in a U.S. city with the third largest Chinese populace, you get to know the difference between good dim sum and bad dim sum. Especially when your ex-boss ordered it for lunch every day of the working week to share with employees. Broken down, there are 37 dim sum restaurants within an 8 mile radius of where I live. In Düsseldorf I believe there are only 3.
That said, I've ordered everything on the menu at Tao. Some I like more than others, but overall most are good. It's not cheap by U.S. norms, but if you're missing decent-to-good dim sum, I believe this to be the best one in NRW.
