The food was AMAZING. Their sushi was so good I'm thinking of it now and I miss it. The server was very polite, and they were playing good music the whole time. The restaurant was kind of empty because I came at an odd time but $20 to stuff my face with amazing food and treats? Hell yeah. read more

I want to be as respectful as I possibly can. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were my first stop and they were very clean, which is always a big plus for me, so I really appreciated that. At first glance, I was a little hesitant about the building itself. It's very old, with no real signage, just "Chinese Buffet." The sushi was... okay. If you're looking for something more authentic, I'd recommend ordering a roll instead and telling them you want something authentic. Hopefully they will be as accommodating as they appear. What's out on the buffet seems geared more toward people who might not recognize good sushi if it slapped them in the face (lol). The Chinese food was decent and, surprisingly, not overly oily. I was honestly impressed, since lower-end Chinese buffets often have food swimming in oil, and this place didn't. I think a good makeover could really do this place justice. It's alright, not horrible. It could be a fun place for younger kids who want to try something new, but do not bring someone here on a date. Seriously. Don't do it. They also took our silverware half way through, they did not offer any knives to cut food with. I wanted to throw away napkins cause I had my child with me and not a trash can in sight! read more

China Buffet - Sesame Chicken, sushi, crab rangoons and white rice - Chinese Near Me - Hornell, New York

We were served raw chicken tonight when my mom and I decided to go for dinner. There were multiple food trays that were empty, and they were not refilled until about 30 minutes into our dinner, keep in mind this was at 5pm. What I will say is that the hostess was very apologetic and kind to us. With this being said, we will not be returning to this location. read more

China Buffet - Raw Pepper Chicken - Chinese Near Me - Hornell, New York

food is amazing! highly recommend stopping by for a bite. staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Friendly atmosphere. Food is what you'd expect from a Chinese buffet. Sushi is not bad at all. Wife and I went for lunch and have plans to try it again sometime. read more

I normally don't review Chinese buffets, but this little whole-in-the-wall in an awkward part of Hornell needs a second review! We almost didn't go in from the outside appearance, but the inside is a standard Chinese buffet. Tables and floors were clean and buffet in good order. We dined late (after 8:00pm) and everything was reasonably warm. The buffet had all the items you would expect. Crispy cheese wontons, good General Tso's, yummy stuffed mushrooms. All what you would expect from a better than average Chinese buffet. Don't let the outside appearance steer you away! read more

China Buffet - It's better than it looks from the outside.... - Chinese Near Me - Hornell, New York

I love this place, we come here a lot, even during weird times and they offer to make us anything that's not already out. The dude knows I always want a Sprite. THEY HAVE BYRNE DAIRY ICECREAM. It's perfect if you get hungry bar hopping because theres not a lot of restraunts on the side of town. I think they give customers a good amount of attention and they have the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. read more

China Buffet - a bowl of ice cream and a piece of cake - Chinese Near Me - Hornell, New York

Friendly staff. Good value. About 8$ pp for the buffet (inc tax and drink). Lots of buffet and menu options. They frequently put out fresh food. Would recommend lo mein, steamed dumplings, and cheese wontons. Also, they deliver, which the other Chinese place in Hornell doesn't do!! read more

China Buffet - take out menu - Chinese Near Me - Hornell, New York

Don't uh. Don't go here. Most of the bins are empty or on the very low side, with slimy beef and broccoli. Dumplings were okay, are sat in water not over steam. Friendly staff but to be honest gross food. All the food, well, what's available, is lukewarm at best at 3pm. Couldn't figure out what kind of meat the lemon chicken was, it did not taste or feel like chicken but was white meat. The only thing I managed to choke down was a small plate of pepper chicken and white rice, and even that was not really palatable. read more

The wife and I got there about 5:30,the food was hot and very good. Great variety also. Will be back.

Great food friendly staff and a great value Went for my first time today was enticed by the variety of authentic Asian food and would certainly recommend to anyone in the area looking for some good Chinese food read more

I go here at least once a month, sometimes more. One the best Chinese buffets I've been to. Food is always hot and the service is great. The price is reasonable for all you can eat. Highly recommend it! read more

The food taste great, it was kinda of empty but maybe because they were closing they cooked anything else we wanted. I would definitely come back read more

Horrible! Food had been sitting for a long time and just tasted disgusting! If you're looking for a good colon cleansing eat here. Talk about a bowel movement bonanza!! read more

It's to bad that with every new group disguised as owners the food quality, freshness and cleanliness goes down. This use to be a pretty good place a few years ago when it was always pretty full of patrons with even more selections. I occasionally give them another chance to win me back hoping a new crew is in control of the place to only be even more disgusted. I'd go as far as to say they are even to lazy to hunt cats to use for chicken . read more

Marginal at best would be better to drive elsewhere then comprimise here. There are a few not bad things like potatoes and some of the soups. All things prepared in wok like General Tso and sesame chicken was all breading and way overcooked. Understand it is a buffet but some buffets are my favorite places to take my family to eat. read more

Went during lunch. The selections were standard. The egg drop soup was tasty. The hot tea was extra hot. Would have rated it higher, but it took them 15 to 20 minutes to fill the water glass, and even longer to take the used plates. read more

My partner and I have eaten here several times over the past several months and service was adequate, food was ok, however tonight 7/7/2013 the food was horrendous. The noodles were dry and hard, rice was grainy, selection of food was very limited. Upon complaining to the young waiter, whom was the son, we were told "food is sparce today and was left out a long time", and that was it, There was NO mention of any sort of restitution etc. and he proceeded to charge us fully for two dinners. No discount or anything. I'm really sorry as it was a place we would go to for dinner but with service and food like this I will not go back. They've lost a couple of good customers. read more
